On a cross country trip we had a flat tire. New tire. The folks at Lassen Toyota were very helpful. They found the problem (a sharp screw), fixed the tire. They did it very quickly so we would not be forced to change our travel plans, itinerary, hotel reservations and so forth. Plus, they were very congenial. If we lived anywhere near Albany we would be regular customers.

My experience was great with Gerald when I purchased both my RAV4 and Purchased my leased Tacoma.A couple of months later and the experience dropped extremely dealing With Cinnamon. They outright purchased my Overland Built Tacoma and had it on their lot for 2 weeks before it sold. They had not yet given me the money they paid as their policy states they will not do it until they have the title in hand. 3 weeks later and they say they still have not gotten the title from the CU. SO they sold the truck I owned before they even paid me the money that was owed on it.Cinnamon obviously does NOT know handle a frustrated customer and our conversation went south real fast. She wanted to focus on and calling me out for being frustrated vs finding out what the hold up was on the title. A good customer service representative would have handled it much differently and got to the root of the problem vs. giving horrible customer service and hanging up on a frustrated customer.I live 2-3 miles from the dealership, we have 2 brand new 2021 Toyota vehicles, when it comes time for maintenance, I will NOT go back to Lassen Toyota in Albany. I will take the trip to Salem or Eugene for my maintenance.Gerald nailed the customer service experience in the purchase of 2 vehicles which made me, at that time, a loyal customer. Cinnamon destroyed that and any loyalty I had with a 5 minute phone call.Steer clear of this place, or at least the Office Manager Cinnamon. They lost my business

Jim made this the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. He was very transparent with everything. We discussed everything through email and just had to come in to close. The dealer was over an hour drive and he was well aware of that so he did not want to waste our time by going back and forth .There were some unexpected complications with getting out of my current lease and Jim found a way around it in order for me to take our new car home! Thanks again! Loving the 4Runner!

Overall, not happy with my experience looking at a truck with Lassen Toyota. I’ll be the first to admit that I lowballed on an estimate, but instead of telling me, “that’s way too low” or “not gunna happen”… Jordan tells me “I’ll call you in an hour or so”. I figured that they’d deny my offer, but was hoping for a counter, or even a simple “thanks but no thanks”. Instead, Jordan took the middle school dating approach and ghosted me. I was waiting to go on vacation (which he knew about) and waited several hours until I finally called him, texted him, called again and left a voicemail. Never got a call or text back. I am thoroughly disappointed in my experience.

Recently took my car in to get serviced. My assigned service advisor had no communication skills whatsoever. I had to call and leave voicemails multiple times a day, just to find out any updates as to what they were working on. And only got a call back maybe twice. You would think that when the customer is coming to you, spending well over a grand, you would be a little quicker to give the customer a response or two throughout the day.Not only that, they didnt fix the check engine light that I was having them check out. They diagnosed it and threw a part at it. And of course, check engine light popped right back up, so now I have to waste more of my time driving back and forth just for them to say we cant fix it. The lack of customer service is unacceptable.I 100% will not be bringing any of my vehicles anywhere near this place. And, I will make sure that all of my friends and family know not to do the same. Unless they want their time and money wasted.

I could not recommend this dealership enough. The organization I work for needed to purchase a new company vehicle last month. Im located in Eugene, and Lassen was the only dealership who had the model we were looking for. We selected 2021 Sienna XLE in Cyprus Green. Gerald and Tami made the entire process so simple despite the distance. There was no pressure at all. One of their expert salesmen came in on his DAY OFF to come explain all of the features in detail to me and made sure all of my questions were answered. I couldnt be happier with the experience! Ive literally had 10 people randomly stop me to ask what the color of this van is called. Its absolutely stunning and turns heads! Its also an outstanding vehicle to drive. I highly recommend buying here.

Often times there is a warning about dealerships because the language of car sales is schmoozing and a**-kissing, but I got absolutely none of that here.I took my car in due to severe leaking damage, and being new to the area, I was at my wits end. I was emotionally distressed and my wallet was light. I was very wary coming into this place, but the employee Catherine made a sparkling impression on me. She treated me almost like I was an old friend with how welcome and genuine she was, especially as another woman who was newer to the area. Ive often had poor experiences with men especially taking advantage of my lack of car knowledge, but Catherine was so transparent with me and guided me through every step of the process. She suffered all of my phone calls, my barrage of questions, returning them with poise and intimate knowledge. She is definitely a force in the auto industry.Ken was another name I remember whose humor also eased my worries and, like Catherine, walked me through the steps of the process. There wasnt a misstep between them, and I could tell both parties were communicating with each other as much as promised.To summarize, my car is now in working condition and I left having saved a hefty chunk of money. It was nice not being patronized, and it was even nicer being treated with such patience and empathy. When our car was in there custody for repairs they did not create a protected environment to make sure the car was safe. because of this the cat converter was stolen from the car and they refuse to cover the cost trying to make our insurance pay for it at a 1000.00 Deductible. I asked them to reconsider and there exact words are that we signed they were responsible for damage. Well There is what is legal and what is right. They seem to stand behind paperwork and thank there patrons by cost them another 1000.00 Dollars and insurance claim witch always results in a raised premium for the pleasure of doing business with them.I cant recommend not using them enough. In a world that is filled with lawyer speak and fine print there is what is right and what is wrong. Lassen did what was wrong.

Hard core pressure sales techniques employed.Bought a vehicle there six years ago. Bought another one 5 years ago. Miserable stressful experience both times. This time, we walked out.They seem to forget that theyre essentially working for us. The customer is putting money in their pocket and food on their tables.Unless you like high pressure dont go there.Its no wonder they lost their dealership status with Chevy. If they keep it up, theyll lose Toyota too.

Terrible service center. Sold me a chipped key for $90, cant program it, and wont refund it. This is the second time Ive had the car in for recall work and its cost me extra money for other problems, I do not recommend them, and will not return.

Bought a car from them that broke down within a month of having it. Had it towed to them almost 2 weeks ago and Ive had 0 communication from them. Ive had to reach out several times (while on hold for 5-10 minutes each time) to finally talk to someone who says my car should be done that day.... Here we are on day 3 and of course I cant get through to anyone. Total lack of communication throughout the entire company and its ridiculous. Save your time and go to a dealership where they actually care about customers, not just making another sale.ETA: I had to show up at the dealership and wait for over 20 minutes while the service rep tried to figure out what was going on....... then he had an attitude with me. Stay as far away from this place as possible!

I purchase a certified pre-owned Toyota Sienna in the beginning of April. The van that I purchased broke down (on mothers day) on the highway atop a mountain in the middle of nowhere. This van has 35,000miles on it and was claimed to be certified. However, after having mechanical issues ( still in the shop) I reviewed the Toyota 160pt inspection and realized that several things on this inspection sheet have been falsified. The van should never have been sold as a certified pre-owned vehicle. The qualifications were not met. Beware if you are looking to buy a certified pre-owned vehicle from this dealership.

To the management of this Lassens!!I just picked up my Mothers car from here after being serviced for recalls. I got in the car and found that paper car mats were not used in the car, they did not sanitize/wipe down the interior of the car when they were done and I have never been to a Toyota dealership that didnt do a courtesy wash and vacuum the inside of my car as a courtesy to the customer! I call that the poorest customer service experience ever!!! at the very least sanitize the inside after other people are in the car its better safe than sorry since I could clearly see workers without masks in the building (not a big deal to me but clean the inside of my mothers or anyones after your in it)!Probably one of the cheapest ways to make someone remember you. I asked about the car washes when I had someone come out to sanitize the inside of the car before I left and was told Lassens doesnt do courtesy car washes for serviced vehicles any longer!! That is their right yes but I can say I will no longer be a patron of and will definitely not recommend Lassens to anyone I know. Poorest customer care ever! To many other dealers that give top notch aftercare to even consider this as an option in my own opinion! The small things do matter!!

Had such a delightful experience today at Lassen Toyota/Chevrolet, with John Payne. From right off the bat, my boyfriend and I were so impressed with his straightforward approach to getting us a car. He asked us what we were looking for and didnt try to upsell us on anything we couldnt afford. His pleasant candor made him a treat to work with, and we really appreciated him not wasting our time. Ill certainly be sending others his way. Oh, and the best part? He actually sold us what we wanted.

My fiancee and I bought a car here in December, Sales guy was great, car WAS awesome. We bought an extended warranty, thank god. Within a month of buying it we noticed there was moisture in the trunk and the liner was soaking wet. It was an issue even getting them to make an appointment to look at it to see what was wrong. The sales guy had to talk to the service guy they kept promising to call us back. Numerous phone calls to them, mean while no calls are being returned to us. Service guy ( I believe his name is Ken, could be wrong on the name ) finally calls back and said even though we bought the warranty through them, they refuse to fix it and we would need to take it to a Chevy dealership ??????? Made absolutely no sense, fiancee kept calling back to see why they would sell us a warranty and then refuse to fix the problem. Days later, they finally agree ( acting like they are doing us the favor (they werent acting like this when they took our money, nice as could be on the day of sale) we take it in and they say they fixed the leak, and it was the back tail light. Which is weird because wouldnt all the water cause the light to go out? Was told no...Well guess what, that same night, my fiancee leaves to go to work and surprise surprise the taillight they worked on, now does not work. Take the car back, they give us a loaner car, supposedly the leak is now from holes in the bottom of the trunk. Ok whatever just fix it. Get the car back, now less than 2 weeks later it is now soaking wet in the trunk again.Call them to tell them and see what can be done to get this ACTUALLY fixed, Now instead of being sorry and offering to fix it again. NO, they blow us off, tell us they need a managers approval. Boyfriend keeps at it, calling them telling them mold is going to be in there and its going to be an even bigger issue, we need this fixed. Service guy ends up yelling and being belligerent, screaming.Fiancee goes down to the dealership to talk to them, service guys gets rude just like he was in the phone (during EVERY interaction actually) they said since he raised his voice at the service guy they refuse to fix it....If the service guy would have fixed it the first two times nobody would be upset, and thats after the service man got belligerent on the phone. on Monday I will be making a few phone calls to attorneys and the state board of transportation and consumer reporting. Two month old car, with a trunk full of water and probably mold.. After dealing with the service guy can definitely see why the problem isnt fixed..Horrible experience......Edit...To respond to the reply....None of that makes any sense....why would I not answer calls when trying to schedule an appointment or picking up my own vehicle ???? My phone bill is detailed and shows all incoming and outgoing calls, so if you would like to show proof of calls being made to me and myself not answering I would love to compare notes. I see after that lengthy response you didnt say one word about the fact that YOUR mechanics attempted to fix the problem 3 or 4 times and were NEVER successful...Not only were they not successful, they disconnected both the right taillight and the license plates lights. Or the fact the car had to be taken to a totally different dealership to get fixed because they were never able to fix it. Thank God I didnt have to pay for it and shouldnt have to pay for it. This card was sold to me and less than 60 days later there is a leak in the trunk...Most reputable businesses take care of their customers....Guess that is a policy you only use when being threatened with legal recourse??? You should read up on the Lemon Law and ask yourself if it is acceptable to take 4 or 5 attempts to fix the issue....Will be waiting patiently for the proof that anyone called back to discuss the work or make appointments...I wont hold my breath though...

Major KUDOS to Lassen Toyota and their service team. Have an 09 Ram with a 6.7 Cummins motor. Went there for an oil change and tire rotation from a friend recommendation. Since then, been back for front end work and recent brake job. All staff were professional. Waiting area was quiet and clean so I could continue working remotely. Very satisfied with all repairs and maintenance. Was even advised of a part showing wear and should be replaced next time. Thanks for the honest tip. Hard to find professional AND honest people, but very satisfied with the Lassen Toyota service department.

Ncompetent and Uncaring I brought in my Yaris in September because it was squealing horribly under very specific circumstances, and the serpentine belt had already been replaced. After only an hour, they said I needed a new skid plate and sent me home to wait for the part. It arrived and was installed, and I assumed everything was fine. But the noise never really went away. Then it started getting worse. So I took my car back, only to find out that now I needed to replace a $900 part, something that could have been avoided if they did their jobs the first time. On top of that, they tried to charge me a diagnostic fee for my second visit.After the replacement, I drove 2,000 miles with the sound still occurring. After visiting a different mechanic, I discovered that Lassen had forgotten to correctly reassemble the tensioner after replacing the serpentine belt.If you can’t put a car back together, you have no right taking it apart in the first place.

Oh my goodness no pressure, less than 2 hours for the whole transaction.If you need a car or truck go see NERY. Very personable, hands on. We called three days before we arrived wanting to trade in our RV and Jeep they hooked us up. We knew what we wanted he had some selections seady for us and we went with his first choice. I had already been online pricing vehicles and our trade in were comparable. Turns out this vehicle was on sale, yay us!! I knew it was a great price, what a deal we walked away with. Not overly impressed. The staff was courteous enough, but when you quote a customer one price for a service don’t forget to add on shop fees. Also, does it really take a competent mechanic a half hour [and a $60.00 charge] to diagnose a bad water pump? Likely won’t return.

Not the experience I was hoping for. I feel like I was only taken seriously once they found out I had a good credit score. Communication from the salesman was not the best. Started talking politics and didnt respond back in a timely manner. When I went to pick up the vehicle, it was not what I specified. So I compromised and it now bothers me every day. Also there was an older gentleman (employee or the owner) on the show room floor, whos tone I did not appreciate when talking to what I assumed, was a lot attendant employee. I was really looking forward to a five star experience.

Bought my truck about a year and a half ago from these guys! Loved how easy going they were and how they helped me get the truck that I wanted to get into! The only thing that I think they could have done better on is they refused to fill the tank of the used truck that I had purchased from them. Other wise everything else was good.

Had a 9 am appointment for oil change and recall check. Was in waiting room for 2 hours before my car was taken in. Looking at the invoice, the check mark for filling the wiper fluid was checked, yet I ran out of fluid after using it twice. Not a big expense or hassle to buy my own, but it makes me second guess everything else that was done.

My vehicle had a wheel bearing in need of replacing. Well tundras apparently are the hardest vehicle to get parts for even though they are all over the world.Repair occurred and as Im driving off the lot all kinda of lights go off and a sensor isnt working. Was told to get it warranties through the shop that originally replaced sensor 3 weeks prior. Sensor still not working with a new one installed. Exchange of information occurs between shop A and Lassen. Lassen will fix the problem, that resulted upon the last repair job. But its gonna take 7 to 12 days for the parts to come in.My vehicle has not been able to be used for 3 weeks either due to a one day job taking 3 or waiting on parts. People are super friendly.But quality is not there. No loaner vehicle, trips post poned and not a care in the world about my incontinence.Unfortunately I wont go back for any work again. Experience like this has caused me to stay away.

Asked for BEN PHILLIPS if you truly want a professional courteous and knowledgeable salesman. We were looking for a used Toyota RAV4 . Never had much luck interacting with car lots in Albany so we were headed out of town to look at a few in Portland drove by Lassen Toyota thought Id check first just in case, glad I did. Ben Phillips met us on the lot What a difference a true professional makes, made our buying experience truly pleasurable.

Thats 11 days right there. Seems maybe this place doesnt even think the law applies to them. Probably not a safe bet for your vehicle needs...

Ben (the Used Car Manager) was great to work with! He helped us find an affordable used car for our daughter a year ago on just before Christmas and he got it thoroughly taken care of. Had to loan my brother money to not lose his house because they forgot or didnt notice he quit for well over a week, and didnt pay him. It seems a lot like retaliation to me and that is really unprofessional.

Had 5 days to legally pay me after I left and they will not. They would rather face legal recourse than pay one former employee what is owed. Think about that before you leave your expensive vehicle in their hands. I will see if my paycheck shows up tomorrow before leaving another review.

Salesman said they would hold / mark an inbound vehicle as sold with a $1000 deposit. When I arrived, he said he wants to be completely transparent (like he was doing me a favor) that the deposit is non-refundable. He assures me that if the vehicle has any defects Ill get my money back. However, they cannot provide written terms, fine print, or policy regarding this $1k requirement and they refuse to allow me to record our discussion for my protection. Transparency is useless if the company refuses to provide or allow evidence of promises made.

We have leased two vehicles from Ben Phillips, and both experiences were great. He was not pushy, listened to what we wanted, and went out of his way to fulfill our requests. Our first lease was a RAV4, but was not the color we wanted and he immediately found one in Portland. Our next vehicle was a Camry and it was on the premises. On both vehicles he took the time to explain how to operate all systems, etc. We highly recommend Lassen Toyota and Ben Phillips.

Ben Phillips is by far the most down to earth, strait shooting car salesman Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. I had stopped by Lassen Toyota a week prior to choosing the TRD Sport Tundra, Ben met me on the lot and was not pushy or rude like most dealers. He was informative and knowledgeable about all things Tundra. The truck I chose the week before was gone when I came back to buy it and Ben called the other dealers in the northwest and had the same truck in a better color transferred to Lassen. Ben has most likely made me a Lassen Toyota buyer for every car or truck my family needs forever.
