The warranty issue was checked out and approved very speedily. The parts order as well. The installation was spot-on with the staff quite helpful and polite. All-in-all, a very good experience with a car dealership that was above par after all of my own dealings over the years before Goldstein. So far Goldstein has been a great dealer to be involved with and in a few years, when Im ready, I will certainly consider them first for my next vehicle.

Be careful what you think they are offering unless it is in writing. 3 of us all thought the manager, one of us was the honest sales person that likely no longer is employed at this point, made and offer that suddenly disappeared at signing. Now that I have brought my vehicle there its obvious how shady they are about final cost of service. I will not agree to any additional services they offer or return business here when I buy my next vehicle. If you look back through my reviews I do not bash companies and they have positive. They have just lost my trust at this point

The sales associate was great, although the sales manager (John) was not. My wife and I found 2 vehicles that were perfect for us and we were ready to pull the trigger on both. He offered me 7 grand less than my truck is worth. Usually a dealership will work number to attempt to get the customer at a comfortable price but this guy did not. He, in turn, told us to go down the street to a competitor and completely lost any business we would have given them now or in the future. Very bad customer service, not satisfied at all!!

Staff went above and beyond to get me the vehicle I wanted with all the options I wanted. They were pleasant, helpful and answered all my questions. Special thanks to manager Jim and salesman John Schillinger for being so responsive. Greg in finance was great in explaining all the payment details and getting me the best deal possible. The woman at the reception desk was super friendly and kind to my young daughter who came with me to pick up the car as well. Not only did I have a great experience, but the staff made it a great experience for the whole family. I will definitely be going back to Goldstein for my next vehicle!

I live 165 miles north of Albany and I recently had an outstanding experience with Goldstein GMC. Multiple members of their staff assisted me, and graciously accommodated myself, my 3 small children, and mine and my fiancés crazy schedule to make it all work out and get all the paperwork signed!I traveled south so they could appraise my trade-in and I could test drive a new vehicle. The vehicle sold the night before, but they went above and beyond to get me the same vehicle. Knowing how far I had traveled, I was very impressed how hard they worked to get me the best price they could for my trade, as well as the new car.They even delivered my car to my doorstep when it was ready so we could finish the paperwork and fit it into our schedule, I couldnt believe it!Everyone we interacted with was very professional, informative, and courteous, not at all pushy.Well worth the time and travel to deal with them.

Had to stop in at the last minute due to a flat tire emergency. Service Advisor Tyler Chartrand couldnt have been more understanding and accommodating. Had my tire repair completed expeditiously, plus fit me in for an oil change and NYS inspection, that eliminated me having to return on another day for a previously scheduled appointment to have that work done. I was very satisfied with my new service representative, as Lloyd Bishop had retired and he had recoomended me to Bill Morse who was a joy to do business with. Lloyd, as I mentioned is now retired and I now have another competent rep to deal with. He is very much like Lloyd and I sure hope that when he decides to retire he will get the recognition he deserves for his years of service and that goes for the others, too. Lloyd did a lot of extra things and didnt even get a retirement party and that stinks.

Bill & Christie in service were amazing. Bill was willing to sacrifice from his PERSONAL income to make up for an earlier mistake made by someone at the dealership. He went over and beyond to make things right. Christie was amazing and helpful as well. The experience was an excellent example of how mistakes happen...but the dealership fixed the mistake to the customers liking. I highly recommend them to everyone I know who owns a Buick-GMC.

At the first original appointment there was confusion/ mixup, and Goldstein did not call to confirm or reschedule never the less I call on the date I had scheduled, this is how I was informed! My experience at Goldstein Buick GMC was outstanding!!!The entire process of buying our new car was the quickest car buying experience I have ever had. Granted there is a lot of paperwork to sign in NYS when buying a car, but a majority of the work that a dealer needs to do for a customer to purchase a vehicle can be done without the customer, while they are at home... and this is exactly what our salesman, Eli, did for us. We came in to pick up the vehicle and only had to sign some paperwork. We didnt need to wait for him to call our insurance, put the plates on, bring the vehicle around, etc... it was all done prior to our arrival which was wonderful.I have walked out of Goldstein several times in the past due to poor customer service, salesmen that had no knowledge about the product with snail paced slow service and salesmen, and instead took my business to other dealerships. I thought I would give them one final chance as a local dealership to see if perhaps this time they could provide me with a better experience.I was extremely satisfied and this time, Goldstein delivered. Sales Manager, John Kirschman, Product Specialist Eli Pasamonte, and Parts Specialist Jake Shaffer were all extremely polite, professional, helpful and knowledgeable and provided an outstanding car buying experience. I will absolutely return to Goldstein Buick GMC for a future vehicle purchase!!!

I brought my Yukon in for a airbag recall and oil change. They returned it to me unwashed, greasy hand prints on my cream leather, and they did not check tire pressure (2 tires were PSI 26, the other 2 were 35). Even if I werent 6 months pregnant and could fill my own tires, this is something that should be done before they give your car back. They are also supposed to run the car through their wash. I also dont understand why someone cannot wipe the greasy hand prints off my cream leather.

UPDATE:Upon leaving my initial one star review, the general manager Glen and the owner Alan Goldstein called and followed up with me. I was validated on my concerns and then treated very nicely from there on out. I brought my car in and they fix the door and explained to me why the tail lights had condensation in it. I won’t give a five star because of the initial interaction with the sales manager, but 4 stars is much better than one! Also, the service advisor, Bill is absolutely wonderful. What a great guy.INITIAL REVIEW:I just bought a 2019 certified preowned Yukon Denali from this dealership. I went back 2 days later to have the Goldstein stickers removed from my vehicle (that I didn’t want on there in the first place), and to a point out a few concerns I had about the condition of the vehicle. My door wasn’t shutting all the way and there was moisture inside of my tail light casing. I pointed it out and the manager Jim could not have been more rude. He provided no help and just kept telling me that’s what his car did. I told him that I didn’t care what his car did, but that I was concerned about my vehicle. He literally then said “I don’t care about your car either” and “I don’t know what you want me to do about it”. I’M NOT EXAGGERATING. Those were the words out of his mouth. Wow. I just bought a vehicle from your dealership, and 2 days later I come to you with a concern and you literally tell me you don’t care about me or my vehicle. The lack of professionalism was astounding and shocking. I own my own business and I would NEVER treat a customer this way. DO NOT GO HERE.

We purchased our vehicle from Goldstein in 2013. We have never brought it anywhere else for major services other than Goldstein. While I will say some of the advisors could be more helpful, I have had the opportunity to work with Lucas Ross. Lucas was patient and understanding, very pleasant to work with. When our vehicles issues became more in depth than expected, Jeff Stone the service department manager, took a direct hand over our case. Our most recent visit was due to a rocker arm breaking, bent valves, etc. Initially, we were going to have replace the entire engine but Jeff went above and beyond and saved us 14 hours of labor as well as over $3k in parts. Jeff found a solution for our vehicle and offered us a complimentary loaded 2018 Terrain (gorgeous!) for ten days. After we got our vehicle back, it produced another issue only three days later. We called Jeff back and he got us in the next day for service. Jeff also gave us another complimentary loaner car and then called back the following day saying our vehicle was all set. Upon arriving to pick up our car and expecting a bill, Jeff informed me that he had replaced the purge valve as a favor, at no cost, to us. I would definitely reccomend the service department for any issues. They keep you updated and informed. Great communication (emailed and printed us out pictures of our engine outside the vehicle) and a running vehicle!! Thank you Jeff, Lucas and the rest of the service team.
