Earthworld always has a solid collection of comics, graphic novels, manga, toys, collectibles and apparel from many fan-favorite series! I am never disappointed when I walk in, looking for something cool to add to my collection! Its well worth the visit and I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of comics and such!

Ive been going to Earthworld for 30 years, ever since I was a teenager. 99 percent of my comic book collection, from the 80s til now, is from Earthworld. The owner and staff there are top quality human beings, and they treat customers (and each other) like theyre family. Theyre helpful, cheerful, chatty, and quick to recommend titles youve never heard of before and can try. Ive never been steered wrong by their advice. Ive never had anything less than an awesome experience. I live in Virginia now, but I make a point to detour and visit Earthworld anytime I happen to be back in Upstate New York. A local treasure.

Love this place! Staff is friendly and helpful and the store is always clean and easy to navigate. Theyve been amazing through this pandemic offering curbside pickup and ensuring there is hand sanitizer when you enter the store. The only place we go for our comics!

Just moved to NYC, and already missing Albanys best comic store!Theyve got a great selection, and each week Ive been there theyve had new selections. THE place to go for Invincible single issues. Fair pricing, near pristine conditions on all comics/graphic novels. The owner is a lexicon of information if youre looking for a specific comic from the silver/golden age era. Very clean, and greatly organized.Lot of compendiums/volumes as well for many classic comics.Handful of manga as well.Welcoming for life long comic fans or bangwagoners like me who saw Invincible or Doom Patrol and thought Damn, the show ended, guess Ill fall in love with reading comics or something, idk.Tell em Ted sent you!

There is some great stuff at this store, but honestly the staff is the best part. They were super friendly, knowledgeable, and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do! This is a long drive for me, but it is well worth it!

Great selection of comics, including all the DC and Marvel series and miniseries, as well as a wide range of smaller publishers. Earthworld also has a satisfying collection of back issues of the more popular titles in case you missed a few issues. And theres boxes and boxes of random issues from all different publishers for 25 cents each, as well as collected editions, action figures, posters, and other merchandise. The staff is friendly and the store is a comic fan paradise. Highly recommended!

I love this place! From the friendly staff and owner, to the wide selection of off the shelf books to back stock and more. If your looking for something in particular, they will check their stock, and if they dont have it they can get it for you. This is my go to for free comic book day, cant miss out on Earth girl! I really have nothing but good things to say about this store. I used to stop by every Wednesday to pick stuff up when I was attending ualbany and I still make sure to stop by whenever I’m back in town. The selection of comics is simply un matched in the Albany area and elsewhere. They have a very large selection of graphic novels, back issues, and they always have many many copies of new releases. I don’t think I’ve ever come into the store and was unable to find something. Additionally earth world also has a large selection of older and more rare comics all of which are very fairly priced. Another reason I love this store so much is the staff, the employees are genuinely friendly, helpful, and can always recommend a good comic. They also have all types of events that take place at the store which are always a blast. If you are a big fan of comics, friendly employees, and fair prices you should definitely check out Earthworld.

I find that each comic book store has its strengths and trade offs, and Earthworld has the best stock and back issue selection out of any store in the capital region. I dont use this as my subscription spot because they dont seem to offer one, but I often find I want to pick up a new variant or older issue thats sold out everywhere else and I always know I can find those issues here. Ill check my sub store (Aquilonia) first since EW does raise the price by a quarter or so as the comics go into the drawers and every so often as they get older. But they are bag+boarded, and I know this increase is part of what sustains their business model. Theyre always professional and helpful, graphic novel stock is good, and they have a great collectible selection too. Check the 25¢ and $1 boxes!
