Cara is a great resource and has a wealth of knowledge about pregnancy, postpartum and infant care. She helped me make informed decisions about my birth - without judgment. She made a beautiful print of my placenta that Im going to frame and made a keepsake of my umbilical cord in the shape of a heart. My placenta was also encapsulated, and it came in an adorable little jar. I would reccomend her services to anyone - I have so much Mom love for Cara!

100% recommend. We used Albany doula and placenta encapsulation twice and her service and professionalism was top notch. She really cares about her work and wants to make sure your experience is special. The service was so smooth I never had to worry about a thing, which is great when you’ve just had a baby. Great service! You won’t be disappointed!

Cara was the only pillar of strength I could rely on when my youngest decided to come early. Im so glad I had her by my side. Her compassion and calmness in the midst of chaos was commendable.

My daughter had a very bad experience. The calls were never answered or returned. You should not feel like you are not confident it the people who are responsible for the life or death of your baby. Use the hospital like my daughter plans to. I do not recommend Cara. If you must use a doula you should look elsewhere. There are plenty more!
