Absolutely amazing fine Italian food. We had duck and it was simply perfect. The dining area is a little crowded, but overall great.

The atmosphere was inviting, and the food was delicious. I love that the restaurant seasonally adjusts their menu to take advantage of the in-season vegetables.

Karen is, by far, ‘the BEST server!!! When I go back, I only want her. She dealt with difficult patrons (to say the least - who seem to be clueless about the pandemic causing staff shortages and should be nicer to waitstaff); had lots of patrons to guide, all with keeping it together with a great sense of humor and grace. One of the best experiences ever. I’ve worked in restaurants, so I know the pressure. She is the GOAT.

Absolutely the best. My new favorite place. I need to readjust all of my previous 5 star review because this place set the new standard! Hands down the best friend calamari you and I will ever have. Id put next months salary on it. Almost an instant food high. Our waitress was extremely courteous and kind and was well knowledgeable in all food and drink options. The atmosphere was very calming. Hopefully Cuomo doesnt start power tripping again because Im coming back very soon and will continue until Uncle Sam moves us again

Just WOW! Even though they’re offering a limited menu at this present time, it was enough to have a couple choices of different proteins. Very well done. The staff here is incredible! I was celebrating a very special day for me and they made it absolutely perfect. The food... the environment... everything was beyond my expectations. MezzaNotte is a 1st class, grade A restaurant. Our real estate office packed the upper chamber. We had all sorts of tasty food. At the end of our meal, I was full but I could have eaten an entire cake of their 7 layer chocolate goodness. All right, I will say it......their cake slices need to be a little more generous.The service and atmosphere was perfect. When looking for a top grade quality dining experience and its a little splurge, this is a great place to make that happen.

Ruined my husbands birthday. I asked the waitress THREE TIMES whether or not my gluten free pasta dish had flour in it. Was assured it did not... it did. Got violently sick and still had to pay for my husbands meal.DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE GLUTEN-FREE. They are either dishonest or too lazy to check.

The food was excellent. This is one of my go to places. The only disappointment...we waited a very long time for our food. When asked about the delay, we were told there was a very large party upstairs. We think all diners should have been told that upon arrival.

I went there for a group dinner experience, limited menu choices but they all seem like solid entrees. The attention from waitstaff was above and beyond. Solid quality Italian food.

Our first experience was amazing, the food was great, their tiramisu was to die for. Prior to covid.This time was completely different. Service was decent but the food was terrible. Also, their menu has changed. Our appetizer didnt seem like it was freshly cooked. It was room temperature when it got to our table. For my entree, I ordered a NY strip that had no seasoning and was so charred that it was overwhelmingly bitter. I could not get the taste of it out of my mouth. After my second bite I had to push my plate aside. The asparagus seemed like it was washed and thrown on the grill, it was dry and flavorless. My boyfriend who ordered the risotto, said it was very bland and it did not look appetizing at all. His dish looked grey and like mush. We were so unsatisfied and left hungry.

We were in the area for four days from out of town, and I found MezzaNotte from Google sleuthing. The menu looked delicious, but even still... It blew my expectations out of the water. I would rank it somewhere in my top 10 food experiences in the U.S.The food is stunning. In the poblano pepper appetizer, you can taste the earthiness of the pepper, the brightness of the tomato, and the zest of the Italian spices distinctly and in perfect harmony with each other. The rabbit ragu was an absolute delight of textures. The rabbit was chewy and tender with the perfect amount of gaminess to finish off a bite. I was very happy the sauce wasnt overloaded with tomato!We had a 7:30 PM Saturday reservation, and the place was very busy. The wait to order and get our food was slightly longer than you would typically expect (they might have been missing some waitstaff), but we didnt mind because the energy was vibrant and joyful. They were sold out of the duck meatballs and tiramisu by the time we sat down, so an earlier reservation is probably a good idea. For us, its just a reason to come back!Our server was Karen, and she was a rockstar. Very knowledgeable about the food, and gave excellent suggestions. The way she was able to manage so many tables and still make us feel welcome is an amazing skill/talent. Once things calmed down a bit, she was attentive and great to talk to. You can tell she likes her job and the food she serves, and thats what makes a dining-out experience truly five stars.

What a wonderful restaurant and a friendly staff. We wetter celebrating my fathers 75th birthday and were looking for a place in Albany convenient for people traveling from Boston, NYC, and Cooperstown... this was the perfect spot. The manager a 2nd owner could not have been nicer and more helpful with Planning the party and the food was excellent! We will definitely be returning !

My Wife and I had dinner at Mezza Notte on Saturday July 24, 2021 and had the Bass special. It was off the charts delicious and our waiter AJ was the best waiter we have encountered in a very long time. Just a perfect experience. We will be back soon.

The food is really good, everything is well flavoured, but the service is rather slow and could be way more attentive. I really liked their smoked manhattan, fried calamari and the rabbit ragu.

Awesome food, great staff,delicious dessert. Very quaint setting. Our server Karen helped us with her recommendations of certain dishes and she was spot on. Rabbit Ragu and Duck meatballs, my wife had calamari and the sirloin. The calamari in my opinion was the best I ever had in my 58 years. The teramisu was indeed the best in this area as Karen stated but it was also the best I ever had in any area.

Our out-of-town group of eight was able to get in quickly without a reservation. The meal wait times were a bit lengthy but well worth it.We each had something different (gluten-free, vegetarian, duck, etc) & not a single complaint. We also had dessert including affogato (picture supplied & it was absolutely delectable), tiramisu martini (tasted just like tiramisu) & creek brûlée. Service was exceptional as well.

Like many others, we were nervous about venturing into a restaurant in the era of Covid-19. I contacted owner Connie Ware to ask if she thought wed feel comfortable coming in, or if we should just go with take-out. She suggested we give it a try, and I am glad we did. The attention to detail with respect to customer safety was outstanding. Appropriate table spacing; plexiglass dividers between booths; capacity control; staff masked at all times. We were able to relax and enjoy a typically excellent Mezza Notte dinner, with attentive and professional service from Samira. I dont expect to be venturing inside a lot of restaurants in the near future, but Mezza Notte is one where we felt at ease and were able to enjoy a fine meal.

The go-to place for a classy night out with your significant other. Yes you will over pay for wine, but the food is delicious. Every time weve gone here the service is impeccable and the food is even better. The specials tempt you from your usual and every visit delivers a new experience, but is consistently good!

Delicious Italian food. We had imported Italian meats, cheeses, nuts, figs, and fig jams for an appetizer. They were grand. For dinner, we had Lobster Tagliatelle and my father had Halibut. However, this entree was a special and may not be there when you come. For dessert we had a Creme Brulee. This was fantastic and the entrees were as well. Our waiter was extremely nice had a good spirit. he was cheery and joyful. His name was Tim. All in all, this was a great restaurant. I would definitely go there again.

We had dinner reservations for 8pm we were seated at 8:10 and waited 45 minutes for an appetizer and we were about 10 minutes shy of 2 hours before our entrees actually showed up.... the food was okay but certainly not worth a two hour wait .. needless to say we were disappointed....at least the wait staff was nice🤷

Possibly the closest thing to a high end Manhattan style restaurant youll find in a suburb of Albany. Good food, competent, friendly waitstaff. Worth a visit.

This is an amazing restaurant with incredible fare. If I lived in the area, this place would be my go to restaurant. Try the frenched veal chops. They are out of this world.

Food was good,prices are reasonable but the calamari we ordered was not crispy even though it looked as if it was, it was somewhat soggy but very tasty & flavorful. Our other complaint was waiting for our meal for an hour an half due to parties that they were attending to. Although we did get our deserts on them!

Food was phenomenal and service was on point. This is a high scale restaurant so expect to pay for the quality. Everything was made fresh and served with class. For dessert, I had creme brulee. Ive had creme brulee at many restaurants, but what I was served here was the best Ive ever had. The environment was calm and elegant. Definitely would be great for a romantic meal. We loved our waiter Peter, he was clearly attentive to our needs. We were very impressed with the entire experience. We will definetly return.

How many times, I stop on the way home from something, no energy to cook. Connie always has the place running perfect. She must be tough on staff, but the customers get the best. I had to choose tonight between lamb and sea bass. Thats not even fair. Bread is fresh with oil and balsamic. The Mezza Notte salad has pears and goat cheese. And the staff are warm, engaging, very knowledgeable and dont turn over. Unheard of in the industry. Im tired from the meeting, engaged in conversation with the bar gal and nursing a sangiovese while waiting for my lamb. Wherever you are you cant do better.

Long waits, expensive meals, rude service and this is definitely NOT italian food, there is no cream in italian pasta and an italian restaurant serves pasta with veal, not mashed potatoes!
