Locals staple is feeling upon entering the restaurant. Staff and owner was welcoming and down to earth. Country breakfast items cooked very well and tasty. Ex: liver mush, country ham, bacon, home fries, hash browns, grits, pancakes and french toast to name a few on a broad menu
Always delicious breakfast items, homemade glazed, chocolate donuts and cinnamon rolls. They offer a small dining room and a few seats at the counter and can get pretty busy, but a little patience will result in a wonderful start to your day!! The service is top notch and if you dont want to dine in, theres a pickup window.

Donut Dinnette no longer serves my childhood favorite donuts or the best cinnamon buns. Just another breakfast spot. I will miss those memories!
Never got to eat here, tried to order some takeout inside and every customer was blowing around me like I never mattered to anyone in there. I even tried to get the ladys attention at the register and she literally looked away from me. Idk if it had to do with me having a rainbow shirt but the whole area is a red area so dont be shocked to hear a lot of negative things about any democrats either.

Very cute old time diner. Good service and food is served fast. I had French Toast which actually was a bit soggy. Bacon was good. My wife had a one egg omlet which was great. We also had a donut and cinamin roll which also were great. Coffee was OK. It wasnt overly busy so we got to sit down right away. The only reason this wasnt a 5 star was the soggy French toast.

Been eating there since I can remember... What used to be Joes Donut Dinette, the new owners have done an amazing job on keeping the Donut Dinette alive and still serving the best now for my daughter growing up... The right people definitely came in to keep up the name that Joe amazingly created....
Really great, cute local place. Super friendly cooks! My only complaint is that all of the food is cooked in the same area so my cheese omelet tasted kind of like ham or other meats they cook, which wasnt my favorite.

They serve a full breakfast menu and judging by the crowds it must be good. Not a very large place and parking is tight. For early on Saturday morning it was packed and parking was very tight. We stopped in to grab a dozen donuts on the way thru town. The donuts here are amazing they are by far the best I have ever had.
The Donut Dinette is THE place to get a home style breakfast in Albemarle. The other sites may be good but theyre playing for second place. The only downside of the restaurant is the limited seating.

Small hole in the wall. Place closes at 11:00. At 10:45, there was still a line for a table. Must be good, but cant tell because we couldnt wait. Bought a box of donuts. They were OK, but nothing like Krispy Kreme.

Upon our conquest to find an acceptional breakfeast spot in the humble town of Albamarle, we came across this place. Though I was the tiniest bit sceptical about finding a booth to sit at, as the place was packed, we were soon able to get a seat and were served right away. I ordered a 1 egg cheese omlet which was filled with melted cheesy goodness. It was profusly delicouse! I also had the toast which was toasted to perfection. The waiters were very pleasant as well as very nice. Also, the cinnamon rolls were heavenly! The prices were cheap and the food was delicous! Deffinitly must go to place!

This morning to get to doughnuts and coffee. As I was mixing the coffee I took the top of the sugar hole so it would pour quicker. As soon as I began to pour some sugar he jumped on my casee s saying that w was not allowed saying it in a very condescending way and made me and my brothers feel like he was looking down on us and made us feel like he was saying we were dirty. Even after apologizing he continued to make outlandish remarks. My grandmother has taking me there for doughnuts ever since I was a kid and as good as they are my family will not be going back there
