I won’t recommend this place, I bought truck 2015 Volvo 730 I purchased the warranty the truck it’s in the shop from day one, 7/14/21 bought the truck and the truck it’s still in the shop I droving 400 miles going to repair shop 6 time already I spend 7500$ and the waranty paid 6100$ total 15500$ with towing and nobody can’t fix the problem, new dpf new doc filter al sensor 7 injector,new oil new filter, buy Volvo dealer tuneup new seals and still nobody no wats wrong with the truck, I won’t recommend this place very bad trucks don’t buy, I just towed my truck today again to Volvo shop in Des Moines iowa 9-1-21 let’s hope this time, today it’s 10/1/21 and my truck it’s still in the shop now the bill it’s 10,400$ scr sistem fall,over two months the truck it’s in the Volvo shop I spend over 15,000$ and +now 10,400$ in scr sistem, DONT BUY USED TRUCK at Dave syverson truck center, I have good new I fixed my truck after 3 months ground wire from battery to frame was bad 14-10-21

Have been here several times, and am never disappointed. Service Manager Ryan along with top notch mechanics like Judd provide timely and transparent repairs, with updates and insights explaining what, why and how long it’s going to take to get you rolling. Comfortable drivers lounge with recliners and cable tv. Yes, I would recommend this shop. 👍

Great first experience! Checked in first thing Monday AM and was out the door before noon with the immediate problem fixed and two other issues repaired. Parts on hand, good mechs on the job. As an O/O being able to speak directly with the mechanics is a huge plus. Extra credit there. Great place with lots of parking and very nice facilities. Well done team Syverson!

I enjoyed working with the used truck sales person dan.He made it clear the positives and negatives of the used trucks he had in stock.He also provided information in a manner that made me feel confident that the truck I did buy was one that fit me best.The group down there was very helpful and full of truck knowledge but were not condescending in any way.So as a new to the trucking world, I appreciated the advice and the multiple answers to my questions.But also was happy to be able to know I got the most for the money I spent and it was seemless.

My God, went in because neutral wasnt detected . Now, in a automatic truck, cant change gears unless we do it manually, the truck is shaking vigorously, they messed up the speedometer! Dont even know how fast were going !!! Even our engine break doesnt work now.. are you kidding me ? We just replaces our fuel injectors, I guess they messed that up too considering theyre not working. We cant go 60 when we should be going 71 at most . Sad. Deserves to be shut down . this place ruined our truck .

Got problem with SCR. Stopped by talked to Dale. Got in right away no wait. 45 min later he got back to me with the problem and solution. Price was very affordable much better than many other shops. Dale went above and beyond. Offered me coffee and showed me the way to the truckers lounge. Felt like at home. Thanks Dale for great customer service.

Salesman when we were in his office was more interested in his text messages than us. Initial phone contact the day before was very good and professional .

Called in the morning and spoke with Jake. Told him that my cab heater blower wasnt working. He took my contact info and said they would get me in as soon as they could. I made my deliveres and then got there around 1:30pm.I drove up to an area by the front door marked as a check in area. Before I got out of the truck Jake was there with his laptop to connect to my truck data port.He downloaded my unit info unplugged and said just leave the truck there and finish checking in at the service desk inside.By the time I was done with paperwork a tech (Dave) was already pulling my truck inside. It took 30 minutes to diagnose the problems (blower and air temp sensor) then Jake came to drivers lounge (nice place with free coffee) to get me. I was able to review the problems with Dave on the shop floor and agreed with his findings.All parts were in stock. Two hours later parts were 300 and labor was 300....and I was rolling down the road ready for my next load.Nice place. Nice people. Fast friendly service. I definitely recommend these guys to any Volvo trucker needing work.There is also a free shuttle service to local hotel if you need it.Ive written some bad reviews for other Volvo truck service centers, but these guys are working hard to get and keep your business.

Worst dealership volvo in Midwest. They don’t have provisional mechanical, I went to fixed minor issues they can’t find. Their yard is much ice winter time they don’t clean.I will recommend before you go this shop read reviews.

Went for a headlight assembly replacement at 4pm was out of there by 4:45pm. Service was excellent.

This is a Mafia place not a shop or a dealer👎.My truck had a electric problem in Owtonna, MN than i towed to this place They told me first there was an ICE in airline tanks and i need to call them after 30 minute than i called them after 30 minute and all of sudden they said my truck have a engine problems. I knew they were trying to take advantage from me and i told them please stop working on my truck and i will pay you, your diagnose bill. Dale Wilson was the one i was dealing with after i told him that he was upset and started yelled at me disrespecting me treated me like am not a value costumer and he told me they not taking my truck outside unless i pay them and what they were asking was absurd $ 717.42 for just two hour diagnosis with no parts, i had to pay them to just let my truck go basically they hold my truck as an hostage. I wouldnt recomend any one i know or my freinds to associate with this thiefes. Stay away from this guys plz. SMH!

Evening parts dept is awesome! Service charged me about $350 to diagnosis a $30 part! If youre not under warranty.... RUN!!!! Plus they left my dash in a mess!

Dropped truck off for simple computer service . came to pick my tuck up found front end smashed and no cameras around to see if someone had hit it.. good on service bad on security.

You wont find a better Sales/Support team in the trucking industry than Jay Klemp and his team at Dave Syverson Volvo in Albert Lea MN. From the sales process to the maintenance and repairs - they truly have convinced me that they are the best in the industry!

Took four days for a diagnostic, then they tried to sell me a bunch of stuff I didnt even need. Quoted $20,000.... Done at another volvo and fixed everything for $6,500

Try to avoid this dealership, one of the worst VOLVO dealerships!We went to change fuel filter, they decided to run diagnostics for two hours to make sure thats the only problem. They tell the driver to park his trailer at their parking and the trailer starts sinking so they tell us to order towing to lift the trailer. At the end we pay $500 for fuel filter and $350 for towing.

The service mechanics are incompetent I was in there several times with the same problem the first time they replace the ABS sensors a month later I go back in there and with the same problem then they tell me it was a wiring harness the rear chassis wiring harness so we put a new wiring harness in and it was not the problem I took it to a different mechanic and they fix the problem it was a wiring sensors ABS in the back the ones that they had replaced they did not replace them but still billed me for him I do not recommend anybody going to Syverson truck shop in Albert Lea Minnesota they are incompetent and I would not recommend buying a truck from Syverson Truck Center and Albert Lea Minnesota because you do not know what youre getting
