A comfy local bookstore presented by an owner who truly loves literature. With a spotlight on local authors, a personalized book recommendation service, and a colorful selection of novels new and old, its been a joy to stop in, chat, and browse.

We recently visited Shades of Pemberley Bookstore and highly recommend it! The selection was great with lots of variety; the owner is wonderful and will order any book for you that they dont have in stock. The kids room is stocked with stuffed animals and a great selection as well. Were excited to have a local bookstore close to home and look forward to buying many more books in the future.

Very nice place. The girl that owns it is very friendly and helpful. Lots of books, new and used. We bought 5 books, 3 new and 2 used. We will be going back.

I love Shade of Pemberly. Nothing smells better than a store full of books. Nice soft couches to sit in for thumbing through possibilities. A very cozy feel to this place. Ask for Brandy ... the owner, not the liqueur. LOTS of books by local authors too!

Even though closed today - opened up shop so I could get a few books since only in town a few days! Fantastic service as always! My favorite bookshop!

This is the most organized and cleanest used book store that I have ever shopped in. The young lady that owns the store is incredible, the prices are good, she offers in store trade in for your used books, coffee is hot, and great seating by the front windows. The down town setting is hospitable and numerous restaurants and coffee shops within view. You should visit and then walk the sidewalks to browse the other businesses in the area.

Had a great time at the murder mystery party. Everyone was dressed for their part and played their role excellent!!!! I would do it again in a minute. Loved it.
