We visited your dealership over two years ago and decided to wait. He remembered us when we showed up and it was like talking to an old friend. He was professional and courteous and went out of his way to make the whole process easy. Your dealership is clean and welcoming and I like the little extras that you have like offering a cold drink or snack. Small things like that really set you apart from other dealers. The vehicle pricing is straight and to the point; bang, boom, your out the door!
This was the absolute easiest vehicle purchase. I was able to purchase the exact vehicle that I had been searching months for. Devin and Oscar made the process as smooth as possible and was able to set up delivery at my house. Although I am glad I was able to bypass having to come to the dealership, I wish I would have gotten to personally thank them both for their hard work.

My husband and I have purchased multiple vehicles from Howard Bentley and they are top notch! Our most recent purchase was in May of 2021. We bought a used Yukon from them, but after we had it a little it started making a horribly squeaking sound coming from the back passenger wheel. They had us bring it in and after a week they gave us a call and told us they never should have sold us the vehicle because it has been previously wrecked and the frame was warped. We had know it was wrecked before, but no one knew the true extent of damage. They gave us back what we paid for it and told us to come pick out a new vehicle of equal or less value. I ended up getting a brand new 2022 Acadia and I love it! Howard Bentley was wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to make everything right. I will definitely be purchasing with them again!
All in all they were good. Typical car dealership experience. Traded in our truck for a newer one. Day after buying noticed two perfect dents on the front bumper most likely from transit and then noticed that they are making $10K on the truck we traded in so kinda stings a little

Bought a 2008 GMC Truck and had 6-8 days and started to have problems with. I called John Conner and he said for me to bring in and gave me a free rental till truck got fixed. Had to replace bad motor with a new one at no cost to me. Great service dept and friendly staff. I will be getting all service done in the future with them.

Great place to buy a gmc truck and get it serviced
My experience was very positive. Everyone went above and beyond to help me with renewing my warranty on my car. There were two things that had to be fixed before renewal could be done. They pulled up my warranty and found that the date was still good, they made the claim and it was approved. They provided me a rental car and said they would call on the next day. They finished the repairs, called me, I went and was able to renew my warranty. They compared the cost and length of time for two companies and that helped me choose the best one. I was so happy and very pleased with how they really treated me as though I was in their family! I want to call names, but I might leave someone out. I really appreciate everyones help!!!
Taylor Connor went above and beyond to work with us even though we live a few hundred miles away. Despite the delay in our delivery due to chip shortages, Taylor sent someone to pick up our current vehicle and repair it at no charge while we waited on our new Yukon to arrive. This was the best customer service we have ever had from a auto dealer. I would recommend them to anyone.

On 2/24/21 I contacted Howard Bentley about purchasing a 2021 GMC 2500hd AT4 stock number mg806 ($79495). I was greeted by Hannah on the phone and I was forwarded to Julia in sales. We discussed the vehicle and my trade. I was asked to take detailed photos, provide the VIN number, vehicle information and all of my contact information which I did. Later that day I was forwarded a email with my trade value and the pricing structure. I had some questions about the pricing that I discussed the next morning with Julia on 2/25/21. It appeared there were a lot of missing details in which how they arrived at the price. I asked for total transparency and to break the numbers down. She called and we spoke multiple times working out these details and discussed delivering the vehicle. I then tell her about the trade difference another dealer had given me. I was clear I wanted to compare apples to apples. The other dealer (Laura GMC) had given me a similar price on the new vehicle I wanted to purchase as It was the exact same model and color choice. She told me they would match the trade offer Laura made me of $43,500 to get the deal finalized. I said OK lets talk about these other discounts. There was a $1000 finance discount that I didnt understand. She explained I must finance and use their banks in order to receive that discount. She got upset with me and made some rude comments whenever I asked additional questions as to why. I then spoke to a sales manager that was rude from the beginning and could care less about the sale. His final words were use our bank or pay $1000 more he paused then hung up.On 12/26/21 I was contacted by Hannah asking if she could help me in anyway to make this purchase. I explained in detail about what happened and she wanted to make it right. She explained the vehicle was still available to purchase and she was getting another salesperson & manager involved. They would call me within a few minutes to get this taken care of. I agreed for them to contact me to finalize the transaction and work out the smaller details. I didnt hear from anyone so I called her back around 30 minutes later. She answered and said well alot changed in 30 minutes and the vehicle is no longer available. We took a deposit on it and its sold with zero remorse. If I wasnt 320 miles away I would personally visit this dealership and speak with the owners as their business practices are very shady.

Everything went so fast and smooth. I called about the van I found online, and Rochelle sent me more pictures and gave me a virtual tour via FaceTime. She got everything done very quickly, had great communication, and two days later it was delivered to my house, 4 hours away, for free! This experience was precipitated by drivability/safety issues with a 2020 Buick GX that had existed over 7 months. After waiting over 5 months on GM to diagnose and authorize Howard Bentley to correct the problem, my wife and I appealed to GM for a replacement vehicle. Howard Bentley acted as GMs agent in this process. Our experience with the Howard Bentley service team, particularly Jimmy Dowdy, and sales team, including Josh Driver and Jon Conner, was exemplar. Mr. Dowdy provided regular unsolicited updates on our 2020 Encore GX that has been in the service department for nearly 5 months, including a transmission replacement. Mr. Driver found a nearly identical 2022 Buick Encore GX vehicle for replacement and worked with Mr. Conner to handle all the transaction details - including transferring personal goods from the defunct 2020 Encore GX. It should not be forgotten that the receptionist, Brian, provided information and counsel through all this process.This is the third purchasing transaction and one of several service experiences at Howard Bentley. Based on these experiences, my wife and I would recommend Howard Bentley to anyone looking to purchase or service a Buick or GMC vehicle.
Routine oil change.The good: Very friendly and informative customer service guys.The Bad: When I got my vehicle back they did not refill the washer fluid, did not reset the oil life monitor, and over filled the oil a good bit.I’ll still use them. But hope this review helps them improve

I felt a more thorough check should have been made on my vehicle. I carried it in, Dec., 2020 for an oil leak, and it was determined to have a leak from the oil pan. I paid for this repair and I noticed the leak still was present. I did not return it to be checked until July, 2021 and was told it was the front oil seal leaking and the engine would have to be partially pulled and the pan will, of course, have to come loose again. I think this could have been taken care of on the previous call.

Salesman was very knowledgable about the vehicle bought, but was not very accurate on accessory install times. Got to dealership at 9:30am and was there until 5:45 in the evening. That is way to much time to spend at the dealership, and then another 2 hours to drive home after completed.

Test drove two trucks, one used and one new. Loved the new one and a short time later we were signed and received our new vehicle tour. We received over book value for our trade in and got us a brand new truck.

Let me start by saying I live in Florida and this had to have been a great deal in order for me to drive all the way to Alabama. I ended up purchasing a 2019 5.3L AT4 fully loaded from Tyler. I’ve been shopping around since last October and this was the best deal I’ve ever found since then. I did shop around and no other dealership was able to offer what HB Buick GMC was offering. Not only was the truck already discounted but I qualified for additional rebates & they gave me what I needed for my trade in (which I was upside down on). I didn’t end up financing through GM, rates were too high imo, so I went with a local credit union. My sales rep, Tyler, did a great job coming through clutch and following through a sale that many others turned down because I was out of town. Great work ethic and great follow up throughout the process. Total process was about a week and a half of communication and multiple follow ups on behalf of the dealership. I am blown away honestly. By the quality of this truck and by the customer service. When a company goes above and beyond to not only earn the business but also give a little, truly goes a long way. I’m sure they will continue on setting the standard across the south for GMC BUICK dealerships. Amazing customer service. Shop here, you won’t regret it.
First of all, an actual person called me back Monday morning after I sent a weekend email inquiring about a certain truck. Other dealerships sent multiple texts and emails back to me each from different numbers, very confusing! Its still nice to speak with someone on the phone. Spoke with a salesman about how interested we were in a vehicle but couldnt make the hour drive until Saturday due to work. We called everyday and spoke with someone. On Friday a salesman says oh we sold that on Wednesday morning . So why did they even bother telling us they were holding it until the weekend if they were gonna sell from underneath us. We understand business is business but a courtesy call or email would have been nice. Wont ever considered buying from this dealership again.

Have been to allot of GM Dealerships, I would say that Howard Bentley is Hands down the best I have ever been served by.
Good experience. Truck was delivered to my home. I accepted and then discovered that it had torque converter clutch slippage. I was a little disappointed that a driver drove it 60 miles to my home and did not report the vibration to the dealership. The service department was very responsive to my problem and scheduled a transmission flush which solved my problem.
