Food land has always been the cleanest, down home, family grocery market. They have great produce as well as some of the best fresh cut meat around. Always a good experience with Food land of Albertville!

On October 14, 2021, I called and made a large order for 3 Sandwich trays, a fruit tray, a vegetable tray, an assorted cookie tray and a very large pan of banana pudding. I am living in Iowa so this was all done over the phone on my lunch break (for my Dads funeral in Albertville, AL on October 20, 2021). The gal who helped me was also on her lunchbreak, but took time to assist me with placing the order. Between the time of order and the date and time of pick up, I had to change the time for the trays to be picked up from 8 am to 1 pm. Everyone I came into contact with was very helpful. When I came in to pick up and pay for the order, the gal at the bakery arranged for four bags of ice to be brought out for me as well. She placed all the trays on a multilevel cart and she and the gentleman who got the ice ready for me brought everything to my truck and loaded all the items for me. I was so impressed and so appreciative of the special attention and service they gave to me. Additionally, I got many many compliments on the food. I would recommend Foodland on Sand Mountain Road Albertville, AL to anyone having a gathering or special event. Everything was done so nicely and promptly. Thank you all so much for making this very difficult day so much easier for me. God Bless!

It is always a pleasure to shop with them. They where out of a few things but they had just had a big Labor Day truck load sale and where very busy restocking. You cant find friendlier people anywhere.

Albertville Foodland is really a great place to grocery shop! Also The pharmacy is so convenient and the staff is always friendly, professional and fast and very knowledgeable.

Have never been to this store. Didnt even really know it was there, its kind of hid away off in a corner. Was very surprised! Store was in great shape even though they are currently remodeling. Produce looked fresh, grocery shelves were well stocked and fresh meat looked to be of high quality. We will try it out next time we go payday shopping!

Best meats in town. We always go here to pick out steaks and shrimp.

Can you buy personal size orders of sushi and sashimi? I didnt see a menu for that. The ready made trays (that look delicious) are enough to feed an army. A couple of slices of GOOD tuna with a side of sticky rice would be a great quick lunch for four bucks. The store looks great, btw. 🍻

One of the best grocery stores I have ever gone to. Staff is quick to help. Selection is huge for a small-to-medium town. Clean. Deli is well run. Aisles are wide, not cramped. Friendly people everywhere.

Great store with quality produce and an amazing meat and seafood section.

This is the first time I have walked in this store. My first impressions were amazement at how well stocked and displayed the produce was. All throughout the store I kept finding gems. They have such fresh meat and seafood. The employees went above and beyond to help and be caring. I was told that the meat man has worked there soon nce he was around 16 years old and he has been there for around 40 years. I will definitely make the drive here to shop again. I found my new happy place.

The staff that works in the pharmacy are rude and disrespectful. On one occasion, they refused to fill my prescription and failed to explain clearly why they couldnt. The only reason I use that pharmacy is because its the closest and I have transportation issues. Btw, on the day they couldnt fill my script, I had to get a ride to go up there an it was snowing so I shouldve been at home especially during this pandemic. Smh

The only complaint I have for this store is that most of the employees -especially the checkers- dont greet you when you come in their line. I believe its important to be people friendly when youre in the people business. Dont just talk to the ones you already know. Make new friends!
