I am revising my initial review. After my recent experiences dealing with other recyclers, I feel it necessary to do so along with an apology! The day I came to W Silver recycling- I had put myself on a time crunch and, I short on time when I arrived here. My initial review was not accurate or fair to the hard working people here! I APPRECIATE the fact they took the time to separate the metal, and then worked with me on some of the odd items m, too! Thank you for being thorough and fair. Thank you for the good customer service. Thank you for the honest dealing! Being a female, and relatively new in the recycle scene, I didnt leave feeling like Id just been robbed, ripped off or screwed! (Like some places)

This business does not take safety serious after a driver almost backed into a woman’s car and got out to yell at her. Also the management will take it as a Joke if reported. The manager sent the wrong text back to me which shows how unprofessional this individual can be.Manager text - “From the people whining lol “ “that’s their evidence “^ This is what he thinks about YOU, The costumer.

Got there at 11:46 and they told me to go because they take lunch at noon. Offered the metal for free if they unload it and said NO. I guess they dont need your business

The guy that unload the aluminum that I had did know what he was doing and they underpay me way to low not going back there I went on 11/23/2020 took over 300 lbs of aluminum and I got 45 dollars I almos went back and pick up my stuff, I went and took about the same stuff to ACME and got over 300 dollars, this guys are ripoff, dont even go there at all, go to ACME instead

Ive been selling my scrap metal exclusively to W. Silver for almost 10 years. I appreciate not having to constantly shop around - with these guys I have confidence that the scales are accurate, the prices are very fair, and most important, the customer service is excellent. The guys in the steel yard always cheerfully help me unload, even when Ive been less than efficient loading the truck. The guys in the non-ferrous shed are conscientious and friendly. The cashier is always spot on and even general management is cool. If I have to criticize anything Ill say that they could be more competitive with their price for aluminum cans. But its all good.

This place has to be the least efficient scrap yards in Albuquerque. From start to finish it took about 40 minutes to unload one truck bed and get paid. Their yard has no organization or flow. All of the staff I dealt with had to keep asking other members where to put things. I am in charge of scrapping for a large organization and it was my first and last visit to Silver Recycling. Save your time money and man power and go anywhere but here.Thanks,

I brought in a couple of small motors ( garage door opener & personal fan ) as well as the hardware associated with the opener. Walked out with 3 buck$ :) not gonna get rich that way but I guess better than throwing it all into the trash.. I experienced friendly staff & good customer service today 01/12/18

Best scrap company in town. If another place offers more for your scrap, they probably arent paying you for all of your material. W. Silver is honest, fair, and helpful every time.

W Silver Recycling Center is the best place to haul your metals to. The customer service there is fantastic! I barely had to lift a finger, or even boss anyone around before an employee named Jason took down the old ACs in the back of my truck. Ive never had an issue with any of my visits, but if one ever came up I would talk to Brian. I definitely recommend W Silver for any of your recyclables. Their prices are fair, and its guaranteed they will not do you wrong.

Prices are .35 a pound....not good. Also, I ended up dumping 5 smashed bags of aluminum cans into a wire basket while the attendent watched. Was not impressed with this place.

Dropped off some aluminum and steel, fantastic people and prices. Would recommended.

I think that is a grate place cause they are very helpful and very friendly and respectfull as once u get there they are ready to help u in anyway and they are very carefull with ur vehicle and they take safety measures very serious I feel that if u need a place to recycle this is the place to go .Thank u so much Jason and brain for representing w.silver.

Western silver recycling ive been repeat customer for 12 years prices are the best very convenient, friendly helping staff, the best place to sell any type of metals etc...very good expierience, highly recomended!

Drove in with 400 lbs of metal(metal/ washer dryer) walked out with $11. Idk what to think about that.
