I couldnt be happier with my experiences at 4WP!Just had my TJ lifted by them and they did an excellent job. Jeep rides and looks great! Kanyon went above and beyond my expectations each step of the way! A huge thank you to him as well as each of the techs who had a hand in this project! :)

If I could give zero I would. My order sat at the store for 6 weeks without anyone notifying me of its arrival. I was checking the order status on the website which they failed to update. Tried to speak with the store manager but was blown off and never heard from him. Wont buy another thing from the 4wp chain. Also going to recommend the same to anyone who asks. Absolutely mismanaged store. Judging by other reviews, corporate would be smart to make some changes here.

Such awful customer service. I called and asked if they had a part. I was just calling since we were told that they were going to get a truck in on Friday. No deposit was made, so I called to see if they had the part in stock, but since I am a female they told me I did not know what I was talking about. I was also told I should have my boyfriend call and speak with him, and I was calling the wrong store. My boyfriend called and told them the same exact thing I did and they did not give him any hassle.

Ordered a part online for store pick up because it was in stock. I payed more than I could have gotten the same part off of Amazon but I wanted to have it right away to install over the weekend. Well the part was not in stock and I had to waste two weekends waiting for it to come in. I could have just had it shipped to my house from 4WP faster but would have had to cancel and reorder. Staff was friendly but this was an uneccessary hassle and expense.

I ordered a 3.5” Rough Country lift kit from 4wheelparts.com. I chose them because they have a local shop here in Albuquerque. I figured if I had any problems, I could get assistance from the local shop. Boy was I wrong!!! When I purchased the product, it said it was available. Once I purchased, it didn’t have an ETA. So I called customer service and they said it wouldn’t ship for 1 month. Ok, I understand, covid times, etc…. So, during this month time, I received several better offers from 4wheelparts. I figured since I hadn’t received the product, they would offer these discounts! I was wrong again!!! I asked a customer service representative and the specific email address about price matching and crickets. So, the product finally ships, and I only receive 2 of the 3 boxes. And the 2 boxes I received were damaged. I called customer service again! I had Jessica and she’s super sweet. But, I had to stay on top of this and really take care of me. Working with Jessica, I found out I was part of a new system. Her initial solution was to provide me shippers to ship back the two boxes I received. I asked if the local shop could provide me the 3rd box or if they can ship it back for me. Nope, because I ordered online, it would screw up their in store inventory. Ok, so I’m supposed to ship this back with no assurance of when I would get my shipment re-shipped back to me. So, I called rough country myself and tried to figure out what was going on. I found out the name of the box I was missing, and what needed to be ordered. So, I called Jessica back and told her all of this. She said she had to put in a claim with rough country and I would hear from her in 3-5 business days! Well, that time passed and nothing. So I call back and she says, she has no status of that claim and she will figure out where the 3rd box is. Well, guess what, no word from her, so I keep calling back. They finally found the 3rd box, it was shipped to their warehouse in Denver! But that location only works by email, so they say. So, here I am waiting again! 3 weeks later, they finally get back to me and say they are shipping me my 3rd box! It came damaged, but all the pieces were there. During this time, I would get emails wanting me to rate their service and experience. I entered a much less detailed version of this story, and I received an email from them saying the review was moderated and would not be posted on their site. I’m severely disappointed in this company and will never use them again.

This place was really disappointing! One person at the desk was rude, interruptive, and not very helpful. He seemed more in a rush than anything else but yet there was nothing going on other than customers lined up just to ask a question. Nothing seemed to be in stock and he almost seemed to be put out if you asked him a question. I dont believe I will ever go back to the store and shop again. It has more jeep related products then four wheel drive related parts for other vehicles. So, the name is really not indicative of what they really service. If I were the owner of this place and I was trying to make a living, the sales people I would have a front would need to have good salesman skills as well as the ability to communicate to his customers. This was not evident at all.

I have a 91 XJ that my father and I built together, but we wanted to have a professional alignment done once we completed the project. Among the many upgrades, the relevant components for my review that my father and I installed were the following: 6.5 lift with adjustable short arms, 3/4 teraflex coil spacers, WJ knuckle swap kit by ironman4x4fab, WJ power steering pump, rebuilt Durango box, ironman4x4fab steering box brace, and teraflex adjustable lower ball joints. 4 Wheel Parts refused to do an alignment on my vehicle without replacing my newly rebuilt box, trimming my new ironman4x4fab track bar frame mount, replacing my new adjustable teraflex ball joints, removing my 3/4 coil spacers and purchasing larger springs, and fixing my power steering pump leak. When they shook the drivers side tire on the vehicle, I did observe some play in the box which I could not feel when I drove it from Los Lunas to Albuquerque presumably due to the steering box brace. I mentioned that all that needed to be done was to adjust the preload on the box, which they refused. They said the track bar frame mount, which was made specifically for the XJ, was incompatible because the coil spring was very slightly contacting it while driving. They said the offset portion of the mount needed to be cut off and the track bar need to be mounted in the straight down position. Again, all that needed to be done was to adjust the control arms such that the axel was pulled back slightly to avoid contact. Again, they said my passenger side ball joint needed to be replaced even though I told them they were teraflex adjustable ball joints and that the preload just needed to be adjusted. My power steering pump was leaking, but I do not understand why this would prevent anyone from doing an alignment? And out of a matter of opinion, without providing substantiating evidence, they recommended removing my new teraflex 3/4 coil spacers, which were installed for leveling purposes only, and to purchase larger coil springs. I am not sure where their mechanics were trained, but it was clear to me that these people were grossly incompetent at best or were making these recommendations to get more business. I would recommend avoiding this place which clearly lacks integrity or competence.

Ordered a soft top for my Jeep.Website said order before 3:00 and it will arrive at store tomorrow. To be sure we called and ordered it from the store who again assured us it would arrive the next day. It didn’t arrive the next day and the clerk said it would arrive 4-6 days later! Not acceptable. Be honest with your customers, if there was a delay then call and let them know. Poor service.

Bought a set of Method wheels for my truck from this place. Just missed a discount offered until a few days before I purchased, so I figured Id ask if theyd extend the offer for me. They said they couldnt offer anything below retail so I decided to just pay full price. They took my card # and ordered the wheels in, then I noticed on their web site that they offer guaranteed price matching. I found a reputable online company with a $50 cheaper price (free shipping and no tax), but they didnt give me back any money off my full price purchase. Every interaction I had with folks in sales or service was enough of an effort that I figured it wasnt worth $50 to pursue it any more.When they installed my wheels they forgot to put the spare back on or into the truck. When I came back to pick it up the guy behind the counter barely bothered to motion toward the wheel. I had to wheel it out and load it up myself, no apology or offer to help.Now the left front wheel is making a clunking noise it didnt make before, and they want to schedule me more than a week out to just take a look at it.I would NOT recommend this shop.

I was referred by a friend who has had a lots of mods put on his Jeep. He has had his Jeep serviced there many times and never had a problem. I have read the negative reviews and I am a little puzzled. I have spent a lot of money there lately and my experience there has always been good. The staff and management are friendly and knowledgeable. I returned an item to upgrade to another and it was no problem. If they dont have it in stock they can get it in a few days. I like to support local business and jobs. You might save a few bucks going to the internet, but if you want to return or upgrade, its a hassle. They will work with you if your request is reasonable. For every $100 bucks you spend you get a $10 email coupon for your next visit. Every business or person makes mistakes, but they seem to have the attitude to make it right. Do your self a favor and give them a try. They have earned my business for all my future purchases.

I got a B&W headache rack installed at ABQ 4 Wheel Parts today. Overall I’m completely satisfied. They called me today and said someone had canceled their appointment so I was able to get my headache rack installed and wired up a whole week early. James was my salesman and he is a great guy, honest and straightforward.

These guys were super helpful when looking for posts for my jeep. Theyre not pushy when it comes to trying to sell you stuff and help you to get exactly what you need. Also they offer warranties for their tires just like other bigger tire places but will cover you even if youre offroading.

I was in an accident and needed to replace my front bumper on my Jeep Liberty. Instead of going with the stock bumper, I decided to upgrade to a much nicer bumper. Robert was so helpful, and not irritated at all with my lack of knowledge about this kind of stuff. I had to order the bumper in and it only took about 5 days to come in. They didnt do the install for me, my husband could do it himself, but I will be going to them for the install of my lift kit. They were so nice, and communicated everything in a way I could understand. I will definitely be going back for future upgrades.

Took my jeep in for alignment, which couldnt be done because of worn steering parts. I requested a quote to fix everything (probably somewhere around $2500 with parts, labor, and new tires), waited 3 days, didnt get it, called to have it resent, and a week later I still dont have an estimate. Thats fine, I just dropped the cash for all of the steering parts through Extreme Terrain instead, and Ill go to Discount Tire for the rest. Too bad, theyre nice guys (so they get an extra star), they just dont want my money I guess.

This was my 3rd lift on trucks that I own. Jason, Robert and Phillip were great once again. I have purchased several sets tires, led bars, hi-lift jacks and many other accessories with a great experience each time. On one of my trucks I got a bad batch of tires. After attempts to fix it failed they warrantied my tires and put a different type on.

Ordered a tonneau cover online for my truck for an upcoming move. was going to do install myself, however movers packed the house up. i called about the order, and the day it came in they were able to juggle their schedule to accommodate the install.great customer service!!!

The staff sees themselves as 4 wheel drive consultants instead of low-budget douche bags that work for $9.00/hour at a retail store. When you live with your parents or have 11 room mates at a mobile home park, or spend all of your money on a 4WD used Jeep, You should be humble, and not super cocky about having the world by the tail.They park in the front parking spots like their mediocre personal vehicles are at a car show.They seem irritated about something every minute they are at work. It seems like they get mad at people who ask them questions, especially people who are looking for low-cost options, instead of spending thousands of dollars on a recreational vehicle. This could be a really good shop if they hired the right people.

I took my jeep in to have a link looked at.. l was told to flip my track bar or get a lower profile link. I was due for an alignment and tire rotation and the mechanic at the shop informed me the spring was bent and thats why the link was touching.I spoke with Jason and explained my frustrations on why this was not seen when i took my jeep in and paid for service and was told nothing could be done about the link..Jason has reassured me why i purchase my parts from them!i have nothing but praise for this store...I stand corrected... The counter staff are great. after having my jeep worked on my steering wheel is no longer centered and i have some odd brake code now.shop here for parts.. but not a mechanic.. i wont let them touch my jeep EVER AGAIN!

Terrible service, I ordered some parts for my ARB bumper and was given the option to have them shipped on a pallet, was told would be cheaper but take a few weeks. Three weeks later was told coming soon, and then month and half latter was told the guy who placed the order was no longer working and can take months to get the parts. Go to Desert Rat Off Road Centers, much better service.

NEVER take your Jeep there.They will tell you that you have to spend thousands of dollars on stuff that you dont need.Mine is a long story that started at another 4 Wheel Parts store in a different city. Short version:I went in to see if a collision shop had properly aligned the rear axle after an unfortunate incident on my way to New Mexico. They told me:* I needed new ball joints* My suspension bushings were shot, and* I would have to buy new, adjustable control arms, because* The bushings on the stock control arms in my Jeep cant be replaced without burning out the old ones.* My lift kit was a piece of crap (skyjacker, I might actually agree with that!), they dont make any parts for it anymore, and I really should rip out the whole thing and put in all-new (THEIR brand, of course...)* My Jeep will never drive straight (it was pulling to the right) until all this is done.The ball joints had been replaced three months prior. By another 4 Wheel Parts shop. I think its their thing, you know?I took a week off work to take the Jeep to Denver to a mechanic I trust. Heres the truth:* There was ONE worn bushing. Because the grease nipple had plugged and it wasnt getting lubed.* The control arms are Skyjacker, not OEM.* After replacing the bushings (I had him go ahead and do the whole kit), front end alignment was within spec. In other words, I dont need adjustable control arms.* The mechanic swapped a few tires around and the Jeep started driving straight.I dont know if 4 Wheel Parts, Albuquerque is incompetent or dishonest, but either way you dont want them working on your Jeep.

So far my experience with this has been very positive. Jason has been great to get my little hobby truck going. I would recommend them to anyone.

We walked in simply looking to see what they had to offer. At no point did any of the guys behind the counter even acknowledge that we were there. Event went as far as turning on the led lights on display, nobody even batted an eyelash.

Great customer service and plenty of sharp techs in the back. My service was handled by Robert. They didnt give me a hard time for bringing in my own parts and went out of the way to find the things I was missing. My lifted camper van is SICK!

Service is quite bad, unless you are buying a full lift kit for your vehicle. If you come in with a question you better have done your own research as they are no help at all. Prices are high and customer service is terrible. If you have the time, order on line.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would. Honestly the staff is terrible, A bunch of d**kheads. I called several times to comfirm an appointment and then couldn’t even do that. Not to mention everything is over priced and never have what I’m looking for, only time the place comes in handy is buy tires, and that’s still on the iffy side.

I ordered a c.b. radio and antenna mount brackets that came as a kit. It took just over two weeks to get. When I picked them up I was told the reason it took so long to get was they didnt recognize the part number for the kit, so they either sent the brackets back or sold them. If they cant get a simple mount bracket kit right whats going to happen with a lift kit?

Girl at the desk couldnt be of any assistance. When I inquired regarding my 2017 Tacoma. I had a few previous opinions regarding the suspension upgrades available for my Truck. She said I was being rude when showing her a picture of the upgrade package I saw online. So I apologized to her And will take my business somewhere else. I had spoke to Phillip yesterday and went in to get my lift from him. However, it was a trashy expierence to say the least once I visited the location. I am in the automotive industry and will never recommend this place to any of my clientele.

Had my JK re-geared and a trutrac installed, everything went smooth and no issues.

Unless you have a jeep, they seem to be uninterested in helping you. Should really change their needs to jeep parts.

Very easy to deal with and parts are at a fair market rste, Service is good as well. Its not common to carry Toyota parts for most places but its pretty diversified.

I ordered a Warrior Renegade roof rack for my jeep. 4 Wheel parts was to install it. It took weeks to arrive at the store - backordered. I got a call when it arrived and made an appointment. Install was to take 5 hours. I cleared the time from my schedule and drove an hour for the appt. After sitting in the waiting room for an hour I was notified that parts were missing and they had just found that out. So I left and parts were to be ordered from the manufacturer and I would be called. A week went by and I didnt hear anything so I called and the parts had just arrived. So I made another appt for the install - a week and half later. Again I cleared the 7 hour time slot and I drove an hour. As I spoke with the associate who had taken my key to get my mileage, the associate next to him said - is she here for the roof rack? We are still missing parts. The first question that came to mind was - if you knew you were still missing parts why didnt you call me to reschedule the appointment? And why did the associate who has been handling my order (Samuel) tell me he had all the parts when I scheduled this appointment? So I had them credit the order. The associate from today couldnt have been nicer but to lose almost a $2,000 sale for what? Is it because I was a woman they didnt think my time or order valuable enough to give me the courtesy of a call? Needless to say I will never, ever, ever do business with 4 Wheel Parts.

I went to their location after ordering some lights for my Ford powerstroke. My mother had paid for them they were a birthday present. I am 32 years old. I went to pick them up and they told me they didnt know where they were, I showed them an invoice stating they had been paid for and they were at the location in abq NM. Some jerk read it and looked at me and said you need to call your mom we dont know where they are go call your mom. This was years ago and I can assure you that they may have regretted that bullshit.

Its a chain store with the basics available...staff are always good to deal with. Not sure on the shop as I have never used them.
