These guys are great. I called to get a quote and showed up 15 minutes later and they had my vehicle done in an hour and a 1/2. They are friendly and helpful. The price ended up being $60 more than I was quoted based on the work I needed I needed. Overall great experience!

I went once for a break job and they were like a family owned place polite kind and honest. When back since and they act differently like Wal-Mart. Shame really, sorry I told anyone about them.

Set an appointment the same day for a wheel alignment & brake check. Im so pleased that the manager (gentleman in white shirt) was honest about my brakes & said they were still good. He didnt need to sell me on something I dont need I appreciated that because sometimes businesses will take advantage of females who dont have much knowledge about things like that. Also he did my alignment & already applied the discount before I could pull up the coupon for it. Reccomend this place 👍🏼

The tech ended up breaking our hub cap and never even mentioned that they cracked it. Call the 1800 number an have not heard back. I will not be going back to Break Masters.

I drive across town to have my vehicle serviced at this Brake Masters. I love that they actually honor your appointment time. Everyone is so helpful and honest and as a woman I feel like they are truly looking out for my best interest and not trying to over sell or mislead people. Manager and staff very professional. Waiting area is always clean and professional looking. Nice to find a business you can trust!!

This place. This place is not like a chain company. This is a wonderful, community loving business that truly cares about people. They have earned a customer for life with me. I made an appointment online with this Brake Masters location at Wyoming and Menaul. I arrived a few minutes before the time, but I didnt have to wait at all, they started working on my vehicle right away. They were very professional and explained what was going on with my SUV and told me the repairs that I needed. This location is very busy, so I would recommend making an appointment, especially for anything you need done on a weekend. To save money, you can also print or download their coupons onto your phone, with a coupon, my oil full synthetic oil change was less expensive than other companies that I have been to in ABQ.

I just went to the one off Montgomery, and they had customers waiting and I was there getting services, now I found this one off Menual and great customer service in a long time and Im very thankful w their great advice on the service requested. A friend recommended this location about 8 or 9 mths ago. And thats when my boyfriend and I met Vince who helped us. And now I wont go anywhere else to have my car checked and worked on. They are so helpful and friendly and patient with me. I am one to ask a lot of questions and they have taken the time to answer them all and have taken very good care to check on my concerns about my car. They do the work correctly and they dont waste time. I love this place and recommend it highly.

The manager of this location, Vince, is excellent. Honest, attentive, and moves fast. I made an appointment on their website the day before. They got my vehicle in the shop almost immediately, and got the job done in about an hour (front brakes, pad and rotor replacements).

My truck started making a horrible noise in passenger rear wheel took it to Vincent the manager, who was amazing and on a saturday at three thirty pm (they close at five thirty and were very busy) took on a full rear brake job and differential seal leak with bearing replacement put all his guys on it and got me on the road at five thirty. Amazing strong work!!! Would recommend. Jose was excellent mechanic and Vince was very pleasant and explained everything thoroughly!! Great team over there being led by a great manager!!

Went in on the advice of a different car care place, which told me my brakes were in need of service. After a quick check, these guys told me my brakes were in great shape and that they cant recommend service yet. That was amazing and Im very pleased with their service!

My first visit here was good the customer service was a top 10. The wait wasn’t long to check in the guy who worked on my vehicle was friendly and he took care of my car. Unlike Jiffy Lube or Pep Boys, I got to watch the work that they did and didn’t feel pressured on being forced to have other things worked on. I give break masters at this location a five star they have one happy customer that will be back.

They stuck with it until it was right!!! I drive a CX-5 Mazda GT which is very picky about the suspension and you can feel any difference. These guys worked on my car three times, with a smile, and got it right! None of the issues were their fault. The manager was amazing! Was it fun? Nope, but in the end they did what they promised, made it right! Sometimes parts are bad, but they will replace them and make it right! As far as Im concerned, thats as good as it gets - especially now when customer service has gone in so many establishments - not here! I will be back. :)

I had a car break down on me on Friday 11/13 and from the beginning of the experience with this location I received nothing but 5 star service. Those that I remember (Ian and Vince) and to those who names I sadly do not remember I thank you wholeheartedly for the kind, friendly, and prompt service. These guys are amazing. Every time I come here I get fair service that does not cost a fortune! My check engine light came on and he fairly diagnosed the problem as a gas cap and gave me directions on where to go to get a new one. He’s my mechanic for life!!! Thank you guys!!!

This brake masters is amazing!They are kind and do good, honest work. I really appreciated the way they treated me as a young college student. Matt the manager at the time had a conversation with me and explained exactly what was going on with my car in a way I could understand. Didnt even have the courtesy to call and tell me that they cancelled my appointment.

Went in to get an oil change and have my brakes and tires checked. I walked in ready to spend upwards of $200 for everything. They did the oil change, told me I didnt need to have my brakes changed, and also did a tire rotation for a total of $40, and I was out of there in less than an hour. Impeccable customer service and very professional. Also as a female presenting person Im always scared that I wont be taken seriously and I did not get that vibe at all from the men there. I am so extremely happy with this experience

I had an wheel alignment check. The master mechanic said all is well. Check back in 6 months. Great Customer Service and they got me in at the last minute. I had no issues.

He said come on in and theyll take a look at it ASAP, no appointment necessary, and free inspection. He even called AutoZone for me to lower the cost for my lifetime warranty on my old brakes. Went in for brake replacements on front and back ... made my appointment online. Everything went really well ... Chris explained everything to me, laid out all the options and the risks and benefits of those options. He was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I usually rate based on the criteria of whether I would let them do work for my mom, and they passed the test big time. I cant speak to other locations or service reps, but Chris at the Wyoming and Menual location is excellent. Great work, fair price and excellent customer service.

All the staff are friendly & courteous. Ive been to other locations but have never received a welcome as you walk in the door. They called & told me what my car needed & the price. I told them my budget & they worked with me. They do awesome work. I will be a repeat customer at this location only. I love 2 hours away but well definitely make the drive. Its worth it.

I went to Brake Masters thinking I needed new pads and rotors/drums on all four tires. I also expected that once there they would try and up-sell me a bunch of services I didnt need. I was pleasantly surprised when the manager came to me and said my rear brakes were fine and I didnt need to do any work on them. They completed the work on the front brakes quicker and cheaper than quoted. Overall, it was a great experience!

Amazing service and Very honest I went into have an Engine light looked at, we needed a new battery but the light was still on!! Performed the service on my brakes quickly and at a reasonable price. They called me to verify that cost was okay before proceeding after the diagnostic. Drop off and pick up was very smooth.

I would give them a 5 star before this morning. I love Tim, Roger and the rest of the old crew but today went in just to have my tire pressure checked and the manager Ive never seen was so rude! Not welcoming, no smile, and the customer behind me was telling him how much he likes this shop and the manager didnt say a word. If it wasnt for the rest of the crew I wouldnt go there anymore.

I took my car over there for a check engine light they told me my compressions are very low and i need a new motor which was a lie . they unplugged one of the wire coil connectors snd my car started shaking like it was about to die. Its scam they dont know what they are doing. I took to another shop and they fixed it i didnt need a new motor just a tune up and wire connectors

My wife took our vehicle to get a wheel alignment. She waited for the estimate, manager walked my wife through the process of showing the problems that need to be fixed before the alignment.The truck was on the vehicle lift, the manager said, it needed; upper & lower ball joints, and tie-rods on both wheels. It seemed odd to my wife, because 3 months prior she had the upper & lower ball joints on driver side replaced.My wife pointed out to manager, the driver side ball joints were replaced, the manager responded, oh yeah, they are newThen he went to the passenger side tire, demonstrating the problems by grabbing the tire with both hands, attempting to move the tire side to side to show problem with tie-rod.As he was trying to move the tire, shaking his body instead, my wife asked him, are you alright, you look like your having a seizure?He told her, see the tire shaking. My wife, said, NO! Only seen you shaking, the tire didnt move!After his walk through he quoted the estimate to total close to $4,000. She decided to get a second opinion .So she brought the truck to meineke, a lady mechanic helped us with a honest estimate and repair. We only needed one tie-rod then the wheel alignment .We found out, that Brake Masters mechanics work on commission. More repairs = More Money for the Mechanics...

I was put off by how busy it was at first but its worth the wait. These are the most honest friendly people. I got brand new tires so i went in for an alignment and i didnt need one so they didnt charge me anything! They couldve sold me a bunch of stuff I didnt need. I will definitely be getting any future brake service or alignment here!

We attempted to do the rear brakes on our 2006 Ford Taurus and were able to complete the rear drivers side but could not remove the drum on the passenger side. We got some poor advice from Autozone employees which made it worse. We took it to Brake Masters and they took care of the brakes on that side even though I took all the parts they still completed the work for a reasonable price. In the future I will always recommend Tim and Jose because they delivered great results and customer service!!! Thank you guys for getting us back on the road!

These guys are awesome! We had our Jeep towed to the dealer and they wanted to charge us $1000.00 to replace the entire steering column to fix our problem. We took it to Brake Masters and they charged us $44.00 to install an Ignition Switch Actuator Pin which we had bought at Auto Zone for $40.00! And it was done in about 30 minutes! We will be taking all of our repair work here in the future! Juan and Tim and the entire crew were awesome!

This is my favorite Brake Masters location!Ive taken many cars to them over the years and Ive never felt theyve tried to upsell me into extra non-essential services.If they do recommend other services, they have the proof to show you the problem and why theyre recommending the services.In my opinion, their services cost less than their competitors with just as much value.

Got the front breaks done yesterday and now we’re stranded in a small town in the middle of nowhere for at least three days. The calipers almost fell off on the highway and we almost died.Break masters? More like Break Crashers 😤

You have to be careful with this place especially if your a women. I went here because I had received a coupon through the mail for an oil change. They took my keys and put my car on the lift and then the guy at the front desk tried to charge me more than it should of been with the coupon, when I called him out on this he tried to tell me that they didnt honor the coupon at that location. I told him the only reason I decided to take my car there was for the coupon and if they didnt honor it they they could take my car off the lift and I would go somewhere else. He ended up honoring my coupon. I was more upset at the fact that he was so sneaky about it and luckily I did my own math and check before paying and I suggest others to this as well.

Brake Masters at Wyoming & Menaul (Hoffmantown Center) has the best mechanics anywhere! The manager/owner, Tim, is one helluva great guy, and he has helped me out a lot, especially when money was tight! I cant say enough about how AMAZING and AWESOME Tim is!!! I wont go anywhere else with my car!

Friendly, but took 2007 Nissan truck in for engine light and sputtering, 3 times, cost hundreds each time, engine light back on again! ...decided to take it to the dealer, will pay bunch more money!...Three weeks later, and 2 more visits, they worked on it to make it good, without additional charge. Will test it this week, thank you!

Moved to Albuquerque from Ohio and the AC went out in our Honda CRV on the way. Needed to get it fixed quick (early September) and my son recommended Brake Masters. They charged me $1330. My mechanic in Ohio said he would have done it for $800, and I just called a local mechanic to see who I might use in the future, and his quote was $800. Learned my lesson- always deal with and independent family business.

This location is fantastic!! I find them to be very honest and provide incredible service. They even hooked me up with a new tail light! I can’t say enough nice things about this location.

Wow. That’s the best summary of this visit. Manager has a deep desire to do right by their customers. Very impressed.

I dont gamble very often however I like the variety of slot machines and the avalibilty of table games at Sandia, the free coffee and soda is a very nice touch. However I will say. I was very unhappy when about 30mi. Into our gaming a security gaurd approached myself and my 30YO husband and said he was asked to check our I.Ds afterward we watched him for 40min and he didnt check anyone elses IDs. This is also a decent place.
