In Albuquerque on vacation. Wanted to find rock shops & this one did not disappoint! I have been a Rockhound for about 10 years. There is a huge selection: beads, cabochons, milagros/charms, finished pieces, tons of jewelry & interesting pieces from all over the world. Robert is a great guy, very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Liked this shop so much, we went back for more on a second day! My favorite one in Albuquerque! 😄

This shop is full of surprises! The selection of the crystal glass bead is amazing! You can not find colors like those anywhere else!!

I visited this shop hoping to find an answer to a jewelry making question and to search for supplies. I was not acknowledged at all when I entered, despite offering a friendly greeting. I walked up to the counter to speak to whom Im assuming is the owner (because I dont know an employer in their right mind who would keep someone this rude on their team) and told him I had a question. He was obviously annoyed, unhelpful, and told me looks like youre on your own and offered nothing further. I considered buying from here regardless then remembered he was rude to me last time I was in years ago and decided to not patronize this business after all. Ive been in the customer service industry for over 10 years and his attitude is absolutely unacceptable anywhere. Treat your customers with more respect, please.

Arrived at 4:15 and found a sign saying Back open a 4:45 to 6:00 had a Dr. Appointment. I left and returned at 5:15 and still not open. Waited 10 more minutes and left.

Every time I’ve tried to come to this place there’s a note on the door that says they’ll be back later? Like okayyy, I’ve literally tried to come here multiples times at different times of the day too-during their apparent “open” hours. If y’all are never there then ur not open and I can’t give you my business. I don’t really understand. Very annoying.

This is a wonderful little bead shop with a great selection. In addition to the standard beads and findings like in a Hobby Lobby or Michaels they also have real gem stones and beads. Some vintage and ntique pieces and so imported pieces from Afghanistan and India. Robert is very knowledgeable and you can get your pearl necklaces restrung and minor jewelry repair. Prices are very reasonable.

My mom and I stopped in on a recent trip to New Mexico from New York. The shop is really cool- has a large array of interesting and hard to find beads and objects. The shop owner is super friendly and helpful. Walked out with a few vintage pieces I will really cherish. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Super nice shop owner! I just met Robert today and Im impressed with his select from all over the world. Not only does he sell individual beads and strands of beads, he has premade jewelry so if youre looking for a gift, one can be found here and its all beautiful at every price point. I will definitely be back to shop!

Stopped in about a week ago and absolutely loved the store. Owner was very knowledgeable and nice and the store was out of this world. Hands down the best bead store in Albuquerque.

Excellent selection of beads at reasonable prices! Owner and other staff have always been very knowledgeable and helpful when I shop here. I would highly recommend this shop to both beginning and experienced beadsters.

I haven’t come across a bead store like this in a while. Excellent selection!! So many unique pieces as well, especially in copper. Overall great prices as beading supplies run. Findings are not sold in bulk, but the owner is very knowledgeable and does sell them by request at the counter. Store layout makes for easy browsing. Very helpful and friendly owner.😁A seating area is included for hubbies and kids; especially mine who knew I’d be shopping for a while! 👍🏼😉One of my new favorite shops in ABQ. The owner ans his staff are very sweet and helpful. Their selection makes me.drool! very unique items that you dont see everywhere else at reasonable prices! He is part of the central Avenue street party they have every year and he has encouraged me to set up a booth and sell my jewelry! I shall do so

Candy store!! This place is much more than a bead store; its a great place to find gifts...jewelry, beaded tapestries, and unexpected treasures. Robert, the owner is very helpful, friendly, and he has the best collection of beads I have ever seen!! Name the material, he has it-silver, brass, wood, ceramic, stone, glass, enamel, bone, and then some. Single beads, strings of beads. A UNIQUE, MUST VISIT STOP.

Negative shop owner. His negative defensive attitude lost me as a customer. The store has a great variety but stones and metals hold energy of those around it. I will not buy anything there that holds his vibration

What a find! My usual bead store was closed, but for when Im in ABQ, I have a new bead store! Killer selection of glass, ceramic, and bone bead as well as a nice selection of semiprecious stone beads in all sizes. Owner is super knowledgeable and helpful... very appreciated! Just enough hippie, just enough funky and way less attitude than elsewhere in town.

Went with a friend for beading supplies and hadnt been here in years. Found that the staff and selections were as great as the last time I had been here. Be careful though its pretty hard to leave without finding something you really like.

Were from Texas and went to see if he had some nice stones. The owner was very friendly and patient, went out of his way to find what I was looking for. Sure enough, I went back to his store. Guess that speaks for itself.

I’ve come by 3 times while this store is supposed to be open. There’s a sign on the door that says “closed, will return in 5 minutes”. Well nobody is in there, ever.
