I LOVE Parchments! Ive been shopping here for years, and every time I come they have a wonderful selection of items - gifts, decor, jewelry, nice notebooks (some with matching desk accessories right now - very cool!), t-shirts, greeting cards - and the BOOKS! Oh, they have so many resources for some of the most important and challenging issues in life, as well as lighthearted titles, etc. Reference works, too. A great range of things to choose from for literally all ages! They always seem to have fresh stock arriving and things rotated so that Im always finding something new, They never leave me short on options or ideas for a gift for practically anyone! And if youre looking for a Bible, they have so many to choose from with all kinds of different features - some fun, some academic, but all filled with life and hope and wisdom and joy and encouragement and strength!Oh, and they even have a GIFT WRAPPING STATION thats FREE of charge to use! Who does that anymore?!? Its so nice!Another one of my favorite things about Parchments is the little COFFEE SHOP thats connected, its a great little spot with really good prices.Parchments just has all I need in a really comfortable atmosphere - maybe thats what it is... I could buy these items in a variety of different ways, but the whole thing - especially the people who work there, who are AWESOME - so helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and fun - the entire atmosphere is probably the biggest thing that keeps me coming back! Its just *nice*.But why dont I tell you what I really think...😉

The parchments book store is always awesome! I didnt get pictures of the store, but it is amazing. Its beautiful there and its comfortable. I mean you can just drink yourself a chai and totally relax.

I traveled to Albuquerque for my sons graduation, but inadvertently left my Bible at my office. Since this store is associated with a Church, I figured their selection of Bibles would be top-notch, or at least better than most book stores. I wanted to purchase a good quality Bible to keep as a travel Bible. However, I was extremely disappointed, their selection of King James Bibles was pitiful. I did purchase one, but will probably give it away.

Always a good place to shop Christian resources

Parchments is the place to go for brand new Christian book releases and leatherbound classics. They carry books, movies, music, audiobooks and more. Though their fiction section is rather small, they more than make up for it with a broad selection of nonfiction, devotionals, Bibles, study material, apologetics and other essentials. The staff are quick to acknowledge their guests and are happy to help with anything from selection to special orders. They are one level, and have handicap access. They also share space with Solomons Porch, a fantastic coffee shop. Coffee and a good book- The recipe for some quality down time!

I love green apple books. They sell the latest and most popular books. They also have a used book section that I always go to. You cant even tell that some of the books have been used before. They are all pretty cheap. Sometimes the workers are lazy and wont help you find the book you want but most of the time they are very helpful.

Ive been going to Calvary since it opened and have always had good experiences in the bookstore till last week. The guy that waited on me look like he just got out of prison. Bongo earrings tattoos all over everything okay so we cant judge right? Wrong the guy was also wearing an ankle monitor. What is a sex offender doing working in Calvary chapel bookstore? The church wont tell me nor will they give me answers! Check it out for yourself but leave your kids in your car!

Have bought most of my Bibles at Parchments! It has changed so much since the last time I had been there to actually by a Bible. I liked the way the Bibles for youth/children were in one section! Also, I went to go by a teen Bible for someone and expected to pay atleast $80 for one (that was how much I paid for my last Bible about 10 years ago). I thought I was going to be paying atleast $120 but the Bibles ended up being $10 and up. Awesome!!! The Bible she picked was only $14. Did not price adult Bibles!

Customer service was outstanding. But they are turning ungodly. To many books that dont follow what the Bible says. Fallen away from Gods ways. Skip is not doing right and he knows it.. so sad he is leading people away from God

Cashier immediately put on rude demeanor after I denied the rewards program. Then shorted me 5 dollars and walked away from the register instantly before I had to remind him of my change. Bad way to represent your church. The store was not busy at all.
