We used Green Valley for the first time. Dropped off two elk and they did an absolutely amazing job. The meat was so clean, packaged well, prices are great and was completed within seven days. We have used many meat processing companies and Green Valley is the best. Will be using them from here on out.

Great place to get game processed. That’s all they do! Friendly professional staff and a clean facility. Friends have had game processed here in the past and it is well respected. Quick, clean, and fair prices.I recently took a bull elk in and was told it would be ready in a week. Almost to the hour I received a call that my meat was ready for pickup.At pickup I was impressed with how much meat I got back. It was obvious that Green Valley did a very thorough job. I’ve left other processors feeling ripped off. Not the case at Green Valley.Get some smoked salt and pepper jerky. It’s worth it! Also a great way to start paying off pack-out debts.I drive 1.5 hours to Green Valley and recommend my friends do the same. The consistency and quality is worth it.Obviously field care is imperative. There are additional meat cleaning fees for poorly handled game. Also, you need to pick meat up within 48 hours or there is a reasonable ($10 day at time of posting) storage charge.10/10 recommend

I havent been yet I am just rating them 4 stars to compensate for the moron that gave them 1 star for an unexpected cleaning fee dont punish people for your incompetence. I will adjust my rating after I check them out but I usually hunt/clean my own so it may be awhile before I feel a need to pay for someone elses kill.

Green Valley has been taking care of my families game processing for MANY years... they do great work but you have to understand what you are asking for when you go in. They do a huge volume and are sometimes very busy during hunting season... they will charge you cleaning fees for your processing IF you dont know how to properly clean and take care of your animal. Do your part as a responsible customer and hunter and they will definitely do a great job processing your animal for your so that you dont have to all the un-glamorous work of butchering your own...

Ive always had great professional service here. Awesome staff and quick service.They make incredible sausage with your game meat as well. Your meat can be cut into jerky slices for you to do on your own or made into jerky by then for you. Just let them know what you want to do.

This is a great place to take a wild game processing! These ladies have always done an excellent job for me in the past and thats why I keep going back to them! They make the most amazing summer sausage and jerky, its worth paying the extra money to have them do it. Theyre always friendly and happy to see you and its a family-run business! I normally try and process my own wild game but I needed to find a processor while was in Albuquerque. I couldnt be happier with my experience at Green Valley Meats. For 5 years now, Ive been taking my elk to Cindy and Stacey and they have never disappointed. I have always received excellent customer service and the girls take a lot of pride in their work. If youre looking for a butcher while in New Mexico, I would highly recommend Green Valley Meats for all of your game processing.

This place is amazing! Normally I butcher my own but when hunting with a partner we need a place to take the first animal. The owner Cindy still cuts herself and takes so much pride in her work and facility. BEST processor Ive used for my big game.

Worst customer service I’ve ever received!!! The owner was extremely rude.. I was charged an unexpected “cleaning fee” and after I inquired about the charge her response was “your lucky I didn’t charge you more.” I would have rated this place zero stars if possible.. I will never return my business to Green Valley Meats.

Horrible experience. The staff was very rude 😠 my Elk was covered in hair. Not to mention the surprise extra cost at the end of the day for cleaning fee! Which was never mentioned!!

We were turned away because they were at capacity. During hunting season. Just doesnt make sense.
