Waited on phone for 50 minutes before I could talk to a person.
We live in an apartment complex that have these washers and dryers and they are always broken. We call the service number and they send someone to fix it but its never really fixed. The washers never fully drain so our clothes are soaked and the dryers dont dry to we have to pay again to dry them...
Horrible customer service. For two months, Ive been calling in a repair request, about once every week or two. Our apartment complex dryers are way too hot on the Delicate cycle. I can dry a full load of towels, on the Delicate cycle, in a half hour or a little less. All Mac-Gray has said is: The dryers are working properly. If I can dry a full load of towels, on the Delicate cycle, the dryers are NOT working properly. The good thing is that I can dry two loads of towels for the price of one-hours worth of dryer. :-) But the washers dont have a cold, Delicate cycle either, which Mac-Gray says it cant do anything about that. So Ill be taking my laundry to a nice laundromat, as are some of my neighbors now. And Mac-Gray is out our money. :-) I realize that in the grand scheme of things, this matter is hardly important. And for a company that makes a half billion dollars a year -- it doesnt care that it doesnt have our money. Mac-Gray wont miss it. I know. I am just TIRED of shoddy customer service by a lot of businesses these days, and Im starting to post reviews for those that are bad. Its not going to change much, but it does make me feel a little better. :-)
Service with Mac Gray has improved drastically! Service requests have been taken care of in an appropriate time and their service tech (forgot his name) has been super! Always smiling and with a great attitude.....will update soon with the name of the service tech.
As a community manager for a property who uses their machines, this companys service has gone down. Service requests for broken machines take a minimal 10-20 days tom complete when they tell you it should be 2-3 days. You can call and call their 1-800 number and their call center workers have no info or specifics to give you. For how much money they make on my machines and my property not seeing a single cent from them, you would think their service would be better.
They said they would reimburse me for my money loss to a machine, all i got was a empty card with no funds in it and it took like 3 weeks to get here..horrible.
