Not sure why this location gets bad reviews. I came here after I was told they offer (different gas) tank exchanges at very low cost from other places. I bought a (very good condition) (empty) used automotive nitrogen tank (that I bought at a garage sale for cheap) and asked for a exchange for a filled food grade CO2 bottle. Even though they only had 1/2 size bottle they just credited me for the larger bottle next time, and I got exactly what I needed. They are knowledgeable and know their stuff. I will always give recommendations to these guys theyre great

I took 2 tanks to fill and was told they dont load and unload. I was there a few months ago and watched them unload and load the same tanks.Very disappointed they werent even willing to help me load and unload them. I would have helped. Took our tanks elsewhere. Well never use Matheson and let our friends know.

Maintain and inspect your tanks more. Thanks to lack of proper inspection, my shop now has an oxygen that keeps leaking, wont build pressure, and is a health risk. Unable to work with tank acting like this. Your staff put my staff at risk. I will Never recommend Matheson to anyone.

Always go to Matheson for my work supplies, their prices and quick service put all the other suppliers to shame. Ask for Anthony! He will get you taken care of!

Worst service around... 1 star is generous...This location and employees here need some customer service training, or have corporate management step in and monitor the lack of inefficiencies...The employees are not courteous and they dont give a damn about customers. Avoid at all costs!!! Unless you like giving rude arrogant individuals your hard earned money. Do yourself a favor and go to AirGas or Argyle and pay a couple bucks more for the better experience.

Can’t ever get anyone on the phone before noon

Picked up a bottle of CO2 for the keezer. Had been filling at the local beer store, but not liking the results. Not sure they understand gas physics, and bottle filling. These guys do exchanges only. They exchanged my light weight bottle for a heavy duty and better quality steel bottle, the prices were much better, and the staff is super efficient and friendly. Thanks guys!

Anthony and Laurel are awesome to work with and provide some top notch customer service. Store is clean and well supplied. If they dont have it theyll move mountains to get it for you!

Not a good experience. They sometimes have good prices. They change and add fees randomly, and when asked about it they become rude and unhelpful. I gave 2 stars only because the delivery guy was friendly and courteous!!

Exchanged 2 Acetylene cylinders and 1 Oxygen cylinder. Got home and found both Acetylene cylinders dead empty and the Oxygen cylinder had only 1100 PSI. Had to pay an extra $28.00 to recertify my tank and then they gave me a different one. I called first and was told I could go to either location and found out the hard way only the 2nd street location would do the exchange. Long ways appart. They were rude and just left the tanks sitting next to my truck while it took me over 1/2 hour to pay with only 1 other customer in the store when I arrived. Two others came were serviced and left while I waited to pay and the tanks were sitting on the curb.

Awesome service. Helped a weekend warrior with a small job and came through with a great experience.
