Went to Home Depot to rent a tiller. All of theirs were broken. Found this place on Google, called, and not only did he have what I needed, it was cheaper than Home Depot.There was a small repair needed on the tiller, which he did immediately before letting me run off with it. Even provided extra fuel at the proper mixture, which is perfect for an electric-motor-loving millennial like me!Tool itself worked a treat and I got my entire job done in about an hour and a half.Hes also got some adorable and super friendly cats you can play with while you wait.Definitely will be coming here first for my rental needs from here on out.

This place is the perfect example of how NOT to do customer service. Was told by Lowes to bring my Westinghouse generator here for a warranty repair. It wasnt covered by warranty, but instead of asking permission to work on my generator, they started working on it anyway. Kept telling me that they were waiting on a new carburetor. Finally got fed up of waiting and went back to get it. Discovered the only reason the carburetor needed replaced was because when they took it apart, they broke parts off of it. Gave me my generator back with the carburetor in a sandwich bag, minus the pieces they broke. And a 12inch crack in the outer housing of the generator, that was not there when I gave it to them. When I asked about some of the missing pieces, including a screw that holds the casing on, all we got was I dont know where it is. As a person with little money, I really didnt have money for a new generator. This generator was only 10 months old. Would not recommend this business to someone that I hated.

Very customer oriented, trust worthy. I actually was directed to them through Lowes service when I was having problems with a snow thrower I had just purchased. DAT not only does repairs but sells Husqvarna equipment. Dave was very helpful with my purchase of a Husqvarna battery operating weed eater today..

So, I take my lawn mower in for a throttle replace/adjust. Was told about $30 Well, 2 days later, $30 turned into $100.00.Was told the mower runs, but rough, smokes a lot and may only last one more season...? But it still cost $100... Parts i did not ask for were installed. $20 for a $6 carb. and so on.Throttle was fixed withing 3 minutes when I went to pick it up! Was never even touched to begin with, and thats what it was there for!Ended up paying $78 because of a weed eater thing(a story for another time) but for a mower that may last 1 more season?!If I had at least received a COURTESY call saying it would be $100 to get it going, I would never have said yes! I would have put that $100 toward a new unit. But no call. Just charged for things I did not ask for.I am a loyal customer when treated right. DAT has lost a loyal customer. Shame.And NO, I DID NOT request all the extra stuff, most certainly NOT a carburetor! Or $4:00 for less than a gallon of gas. All I asked for was a throttle control. Which took 3 minutes!! While I waited!Nice try to save face tho DAT... now you are looking worse!

Dave is so pleasant to work with. I always enjoy coming in and chatting. Top notch work! I just got my Honda mower back, and no lies it runs better than new, with the replacement carb.

Great place for service, purchases or rentals. I needed a battery powered chainsaw that was out of stock & not available for a couple of months. Dave loaned me a demo at no charge until fresh stock arrived. Knowledgeable & extremely friendly. I do all of my Husqvarna tool business here. Unparalleled service.

Best customer service

Working in Albuquerque from out of town and had an engine failure on one of our machines. Dave said come on by, we’ll try to fix it today and fix it today they did. Big thanks to Dave, Mark and Ron who each in their own way helped me out. When I’m working within 150 miles of Albuquerque, I will drive by every other repair shop to go to DAT Rental. These guys care and it shows.

Owner is extremely friendly and very helpful. The equipment I used is of the nest quality and worked fabulous. I recommend this place over any other in town.

Well, the cheap turned out expensive. I had expected to write a favorable review based on the initial rental, but in the end we were charged almost twice the quoted rate. By the time we were done we were charged $8/gallon for gas (God forbid we use gas-station gas in their precious equipment), $5 for personal protection (the best extra charge ever - it was very necessary because the equipment pretty much sucked) & over $30 for a belt that was supposedly new and that wed been warned about (but hadnt been). We were supposed to feel grateful that we hadnt been also charged a delivery fee (never discussed, didnt know it existed). Ended up paying $178 for a $100 rental. Next time Hilands $180 for a full day is looking pretty good.

This place is a scam. Don’t take anything to them! They lie and take advantage of good people. I seriously can not believe they are in business! It is like a chop shop for lawn mowers you really can’t trust any one any more!! SCAMMERS!!

A++ rental will go back to DAT again 100%!!I rented some equipment for a leaf blower and a billy goat leaf vacuum.Both equipment worked 100% and Dave let me get the half day rate by returning before 1p. They were very helpful and recommended the best equipment for the job. I checked every other rental place in abq, and Dat was perfect!Stop in and check it out!
