Thunderbird is a fantastic place for kids and families to learn martial arts. My son was the one initially interested but our entire family now attends. I love that it is a positive activity that we can learn together. It has brought us closer together as well as helped us make great friendships and be part of a fun, kind community of disciplined practitioners (of all ages).

We looked at all the different martial arts studios in town and feel SOOOoo fortunate that we found Thunderbird! It is so family friendly and we feel as if they embraced us like extended family. Our kids have just blossomed under their tutelage. It has taught them discipline, patience, respect, and empowerment, as well as given them confidence, strength, and flexibility. It gives me great comfort to know my kids will have the tools for any real world situations they may encounter. I tried sneaking up on my girl and she back-kicked me! My husband goes there as well and we appreciate that they can do a father/daughter class at the same time. The knowledge they have received is invaluable and we are grateful for the skills they have given us.

I feel very fortunate to find somewhere that I can study martial arts while also being embraced as part of the family. This has been a wonderful experience for my family and myself!
