Love shopping at Roses, one of my favorite discounted stores

This is where I go when I need certain things like 91% alcohol etc..., Cause its very close to my home & its always in stock.

Its a great discount store but my thing is there are no electric scooters for people who cant walk the whole store like myself. They have to clean the dressing rooms. They are so filthy that I wont even use them. I dont like giving low ratings for any business but if they clean the dressing rooms and get some scooters then I would change my rating.

Experience is always pleasant. I usually lose my mind and spend more than intended. Cashiers are always friendly and store is well kept.

Stock wasnt put out. Hard finding sizes i need. not enough choices for bathroom and hair products

Its almost like a mini walmart with out the long lines. They have clothes & shoes as well as headphones alarm clocks and batteries. You can also get pine sol clorox mop and brooms and toliet paper and soap. They also have snacks and drinks and candy.

Love shopping in Roses for work clothes and odds and ends . I would have given this store a five rating but they have their rest rooms closed. I complained to management but it fell on deaf ears. I still shop there but not as much, Walmart has rest rooms.

For the most part, I like Roses and enjoy shopping here. I can almost always find a bargain in here, whether its something I need or something I didnt know I needed until I walked in the store:) The reason for 4 stars is because sometimes they are very understaffed at the register. The wait can be long at checkout. Overall a great little bargain store.

I used to enjoy shopping here until the cashier argued that they couldnt sell an item that was clearly marked down... Customer courtesy, dearies, customer courtesy...FYI It wont kill you to hold a high standard and following through with the transaction at the advertised price THEN removing the sign to avoid the same issue instead of being an a--hole about it. Because in many situations it isnt the customer isnt the one who screwed up.

Not a bad place to shop, but dont expect a diamond in the rough, so to speak. We get rugs and cheap earphones from here, and theyre okay. You can definitely find good deals here, so long as you dont want super high quality.

Roses has good prices on some items. But the air conditioning is never adequate in the Alexander City store. And the store is filthy. Thick layers of dust in the dressing rooms. Large old dust covered cobwebs also. Today it was better organized on the sales floor then last time I was there which was about 8 months ago. Could be so much better.

The place is always messy and disorganized. It rarely is ever clean. Employees seem to not enjoy their job, or maybe they just have bad attitudes. Theres ever only 1 or 2 cashiers with 3+ people waiting in line. I mainly use Roses to buy cheap household items like rugs, towels, etc. Also, be careful when buying food from here. I bought cookies that went out of date in 2017. If they dont change, theyll end up out of business again.

I was able to find what I was looking for and more! I live in Huntsville and found what I was looking for in more sizes!

My experience in Roses was a great experience

Store is not very organized. Make sure cashier puts everything in bag. I had to make a trip back because she set some items to the side and didnt put in my bag. Cashier also needs to be trained on customer service. Another customer asked for a price on a item and she replied with... I dont know... I cant read minds. Instead of calling someone to look it up. Before I left the register she asked another worker, how much and this wirker grunted and replied I havent idea. So some training needs to be completed.

This store used to be so much better. Now racks are cluttered, theres no way you can shop quickly. Merchandise hardly has tags on it so they charge you what they think or ring up something close to it. Im not sure what happened but it needs to go back to the way it once was

Store wasnt quite done with spring merchandise,.shelves were very disorganized.

I wanted to purchase some vegetable plants, but the selection wasnt in very good condition. People were very friendly, and as always lots of clearance items!!

Not veryy good!!!! Went in to exchange an item tonight at 6:30 or so. Waited in line bc of only one cashier (thoughti i was at walmart!!) Said i had to wait for a manager. So we waited about 15 mins and no mgr showed up. So i took my item back home to exchange another day!!!!

The store itself is not the problem, granted it is a little disorganized. Theres never enough people on the register and the employees will walk by when theres a huge line waiting and never offer to get on a register and ring customers out. My main issue though was the older woman who works at the register up front. Shes always incredibly rude, but today it went to another level. When I walked up I asked her how she was doing and she ignored me in front of several customers. She didnt look at me AT ALL during the transaction. At the end of the transaction she handed me my bags in a rude way and said Here. I probably wont be shopping here again since this happened. It seems to be the usual occurrence.

I shop a lot at roses its one of my favorite stores but about 2 weeks ago I bought a gazebo for $229.90 @ the alexander city store. I hade to pay someone to put the gazebo up and the top piece was missing. I called the store but they want me to take it down bing it back in and they will give me another one. Im not about to pay someone for there mistake when they could just give me the piece thats missing. The manager says they cant do that but they sold it to me with a piece missing. Im very upset and I do plan on taking farther action.
