I visited this store today. The pieces of furniture and items were unique and interesting. I found that most of the items were way overpriced. I saw a few dressers that I liked that were refurbished, painted or remodeled. However they didnt look worth the $300 or more price tag. Every thing here seemed and looked over priced. If you are looking for a good deal this is not the place to come. I am no expert on antiques so maybe many of these items are antiques. You might be better off going to Ikea or Value Furniture if you are price conscious.
Nice and clean. Fantastic selection.. Well organized with professional staff. Great location. A must visit when youre in town!
Wow. This place is huge and offers a great selection of items. Take your time and shop around. If you see an item thats too large to take, just ask about their delivery services. If you live close enough, its not an issue.
Very cool 2nd-hand store. Lots of antiques. Enjoyed just walking around & looking. Lots of variety and options. Furniture, decor, books, wall hangings, dishware.
Don’t let the sketchy surroundings scare you away; this is one of the best antique stores in the area. The game of chances is well-played here, as there’s always something interesting to see here. Their furniture selection is surprisingly good, and the items are often of a higher quality than modern competition.
We are African Americans and as we entered and perused the store non of the proprietors did acknowledged us and when we spoke to them they barely spoke back. We definitely did not feel welcome.
Large variety of antique goods. From furniture to buttons and everything in between, it was nice to wander and peruse. Not very ADA friendly and at times, workers are a bit overbearing.
This is a quaint little consignment shop. I enjoy walking through from time to time seeing if they have anything worth purchasing. Ive found little things here and there, but even when I walk through and dont purchase anything, I dont feel like it was a wasted trip. Theres still a lot of neat things in there.
Love the store.... Dealers seemed a little light. Will plan another trip soon!!
Love this vintage, yet modern consignment shop. I felt the memories of old as I walked through the shop. I am definitely returning. Prices were surprisingly reasonable. A win win!!!
Great consignments... Really nice people. Worth the visit.
Lots to look at here. An eclectic collection of goods, unfortunately most of it overpriced.
Youll always find some furniture for your home here. Unique at that. When I saw new I can mean either new and hand made or old and unique but still new to you. Staff are relaxed and let the items on all the floors speak for themselves. Friendly and curious atmosphere.I bought two tables and a rug here as well as a world war 2 era trenchcoat
This place is THE place to go if you want to update your home with beautiful, practical, vintage & modern pre-loved items! You can also find beautiful wearable art! (Vintage Clothing & jewelry!)
Great place for hunting for treasures! Very nice staff, easy to shop and bright lighting 😊. ❤️❤️ This place!!
Unique conigment store. Lots of high-quality things.
Lots of unique items. Some are a bit overpriced. Delivery is expensive if you need it.
Ive found a few thing here and also consigned with them. Whether you are buying or selling the service is friendly and easy.
With very little searching, you can find great deals on lamps, furniture, knick knacks and other stuff to clutter your home.My wife and me have bought several lamps, several end tables (two that match a set my parents have - they paid almost a grand for theirs, we paid less than $200 for ours).
Many items are overpriced, which I imagine is attributed to the nature of consignment where the profits are divided. As other reviewers mentioned, I’ve seen items that are commercially sold at quite the up charge here. Still, I was able to find some interesting and unique items although I would recommend waiting to purchase items until they go on sale to avoid overpaying.
They always have unique pieces. Love shopping here. Always clean and nice organized.
Eclectic mix of items. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Evolution Home was quite an interesting find. It has a blend of antique, eclectic and modern pieces of furniture, lighting and home decor.
This was a fantastic business with a wealth of ideas and keepsakes.
Remarkably rude and unprofessional staff (not all). I had some very nice higher end pieces of furniture on consignment. When I returned to take back my pieces, the woman who we asked to help locate our items could not have been more rude, almost angry, as if we had committed a terrible transgression. It truly felt that they were angry that we returned to retrieve our furniture as opposed to letting them keep it with no cash consideration (that’s their policy). If you have any items that are “up market” take them elsewhere!
Some nice items are there, but be prepared, it is overpriced and the staff is pompous and rude. I had been doing some renovations around the house and therefore wasnt in a suit and tie, they looked at me like some beggar and treated me as such. I wont be going back. They need to learn some basic manners on how to treat other human beings. I can only assume a majority of the positive reviews are either employees or friends.
My favorite store to find unique, affordable, quality pieces with personality. While some furniture pieces are a little pricey if you dig deeper (check out brand name, quality) it can be a better value than buying new. Worth checking out!
Amazing place. Never know what treasure you will find.
I love hunting and picking through places like this. While some of their prices are a bit high as others have suggested, you have to keep in mind this isnt a thrift store. I have never bought furniture there, but love the little items and vintage kitchen dishes Ive picked up over the past couple years.
I just wanted to thank one of your staffers, a male...I did not acquire his name. But he was the only one who talked to me, and that was as I was leaving. I suppose I didnt look like I belonged in this store but weve lived in DC for almost three years and Ive been trying to get to this store since discovering it. I agree with others...there are various price tags. I found lots of unique items, and some outrageous items that I would buy new elsewhere. Lots of art, which made me happy. Since my family is being stationed overseas, and we are leaving the area next week, Im grateful to have found this gem. But I urge all your staffers to talk to everyone who enters..even if its a Polynesian who looks like she may not belong. I did not buy. But there was a beautiful metal leaf mirror that I had my eye on!
Some items were pricy but the shop was staged well and the staff was pleasant. They have many items for sale that are good quality items along with antiques.
There are a lot of good staff. Nice and clean store. Super friendly staff.
Great section and reasonable prices.
Awesome place for antiques and modern furniture. Lots of different era items to choose from. I stop by all the time to see whats new. Ever changing. Best Antique store on the Highway!
Great furniture and accessories shop for experienced items. Many great dealers have set up a store inside. Prices roll down the longer a piece is on the floor, so theres always something new. I drop by every few weeks.
Theres a lot of lovely unique items here for reasonable prices and the staff was super helpful!
This is the place to go for furniture, antiques, and consignments. Attended their play Tales from the Nest Saturday night which was a fund raiser for Alices Closet. Very fun and entertaining.
Visited for the first time today. Very large space with lots of antiques and consignment furniture. Was looking for more shabby chic items, which I didnt find too much of. Lots of Asian inspired furniture, which I sure will cycle out eventually. Prices were decent, but not great.
I love this store. Always find nice things there. Clean well maintained. Good mix of styles of furniture and accessories.
I went to this store twice. I shop and compare items. This place is overwhelming overpriced. Items from hobby lobby that are 5.99 are priced at $25 and decor from tjmaxx at prices double (a 12.99 candle holder was at the vendor for 30). It’s absolutely outrageous. People go there for affordable shopping and they are getting robbed! I will not go back and I hope others shop and compare before handing vendors twice the value for items
Dealers booths as well as consignment pieces. Good for dropping by and browsing on a regular basis. Interesting finds.
Very interesting place with lots of home interior items that are unique.
Wonderful selection and variety. Staff very friendly and helpful. You can always find a present for someone here.Clean
Really nice things. Found piece we searched for for months. Good variety. Very much a Home Goods of older, good stuff.
Really nice place. Worth a walk through.
Fun, lots to look at. Kind of pricey.
Great merchandise! Wish establishment would offer discounts and /or negotiations.
I found a set of four crystal wine glasses in great condition. I also found one of those old wooden wagons you place crayons in. Havent seen one of those since elementary school. Very nice I will have it engraved for my daughter. I do agree they are a bit over priced for items you can currently find in the store.
Great place to find whatever you were NOT looking for but absolutely wanted!
This place has a good variety of things for a house. The quality of the items was good and their prices were reasonable.
This is a very cool place to shop. Great merchandise priced affordably. Nice decorating ideas.
I give Evolution Home a five because I love the employees, they are so helpful and I think they are very cool and polite. They have some really nice/quality furnishings in this shop, dont kid yourself!John DuvallEmperor,Old Woodbridge, VirginiaWashington, DC
This is an unethical business and I would NOT recommend spending your money here. I picked out two chairs that I fell in love with and carried them to the front counter to continue shopping. When I returned to the counter, they had changed the price on the chairs, increasing it by 60%. I am not sure if its legal to do that, but it is absolutely unethical and I would not recommend giving this place your business.
Insane prices. Cannot believe people are willing to spend that much on their merchandise. They had some unique pieces, but at what cost.
I walked into the store looking to find a kitchen table for a good price. While the furniture was nice, the prices were ridiculous. This is supposed to be consignment, right? Prices were comparable to buying a brand new item. While looking at mirrors, I found one that was actually broken and they were still charging $30?? No thanks, Id rather go to Home Goods.
Interesting place, wide variety of stuff...few antiques and lots of collectables. Low on .Id century modern. furniture vit I understand d there is a lot of turnover. I will go back.
The place has cute things but you can FORGET about the customer delivery service of theirs! You’re screwed unless you call for your own way to the delivery of a larger piece bc they put you on the back of their priority list. They apparently stage homes which is more important than a heavy $700 piece that a customer purchases from them. They won’t even give you the courtesy of actually setting a date for delievry! They just say “well, it’ll be another few weeks!” OR they’ll call you and say “we can come RIGHT NOW! Are you home!?!?”
Large inventory.
More of an antiques collective than a consignment store. Great selection.
Great inventory. A lot of unique vintage and antique items. Also general home decor.
I had a set of very old prints from a famous painter who specialised in realistic native plants. The staff was rude and snobby. I was sorry to have gone there. I dont like being treated as less than.
This was a cool antique/consignment mall mostly focused on furniture and home decor but some of the sellers had jewelery, clothing and toys. This is NOVA so dont expect to find garage sale prices. I didnt buy but Ill be back.
Cool for a lot of knickknacks and decorations, but doesnt have the greatest selection of fair priced furniture pieces in the area. If youre just starting a home on a lower budget, this might not be the best place
One of a kind treasures
Cute consignment shop with mostly items for your home. Friendly staff.
It was a good experience. Its pretty much an antique store with some modern furniture.
Lots of cool stuff and knowledgeable staff!
I could spend all day there so many nice finds!
For white ppl hit or miss for blacks Spanish no cabrenday
This place is so cool. So many treasures.
Great eclectic mix of co have and antiques at good prices.
Love this place. Great finds every visit.
This palace is finds is great
Cute local consignment/antique store!
Interesting thrift/antique shop. Something for everyone.
Great finds!
I buy and sell here. No other store even comes close to the deals you can find!! Check here BEFORE you go to a big box store.
Over-priced, same inventory-rather boring, building smells especially in the back. The old store in Del-ray had better stuff.
LOVE this place. Walked around for hours and found a special gift.
Best antique shop around, excellent customer service
Went there today looking for living room furniture. One thing I noticed is they are priced like you were purchasing from a department store. one of the sectionals was the same price for a brand new one and theirs is used? I also noticed that most items in general were way over priced for what they were. some stuff is just recycled and made to look old but isnt. Highly disappointed, not sure who does their pricing but they should do some research before they price it. they do have a large inventory and some great pieces...just too pricy.
My husband loves this place. Some things are a bit pricey but i guess its to be expected for antiques
Great pieces. Changes stock so its always new
Fantastic
Alright store, some furniture is pretty old and weird. But for the most part decent quality pieces.
Lots of cool stuff at all price points.
I could buy everything in this store!
We purchased a vase marked Blenko (a brand of handblown glass). Got home and checked on line - the vase is NOT Blenko. Went back six days later, but they would not take it back. We had the receipt, and it says all sales are final, but that should not be the case when something is mislabeled.BEWARE Be very sure when you buy something here. This is a consignment shop and they do not vet items, they take the owners word for it that something is the brand they say it is. Not happy.
Ive never shopped here and left emptyhanded!
Very nice collection of unique items.
Too over priced
Prices are generally high but a bargain can be had if you are persistent. One of the better antique stores in the area.
Good selection of antiques and upscaled antiques
Awesome place for antique items
Eclectic selection.
Absolutely horrible, no atmosphere, not a boutique experience at all
