Love their selection and greatly appreciate that there is always some educated person to talk to. I find their prices competitive so I tend to make all my big electronic purchases there rather than Amazon or b&h photo. I will say somebody ought to put some thought into the chaos and volume in the TV section --it was cacophonous!

I bought a pair of Bluetooth ear buds online and picked them up in the store. I got a great deal on the ear buds and recycled an old monitor there. Great customer service there. Couldnt have been happier.

This store is huge and has a wide variety of items featured but stock is low. I recommend checking online to see if what you are looking for is in stock before you head over. Staff was helpful!

Went in to buy a wonderboom for my vacation so I could be beachside ready and spoke with Z my salesperson. He was very knowledgeable about all the products. I got sidetracked between the JBL, Sony, and Wonderboom. He gave me all the specs throughly and sold me on the Wonderboom because it has a 360° surround sound, waterproof and wouldnotbeaffectedby the sand. And I love it!! Then I noticed the new Samsung flip phones. I was very impressed on how much he knew about those as well. He told me when to come bk for deals and sales so Ill definitely be bk for my new Samsung flip..Thx Z

I thought this would be easy and convenient to get my phone screen replaced. This place is useless if you are trying to get an iPhone repaired! First they don’t have this then they don’t have that. Then if you try to reach them to confirm beforehand their phone system is down. I asked about it and no one knew what I was talking about!Just go to an Apple store and save yourself the frustration!

Sometimes, when I dont want to order from Amazon (or they mess up my order horrendously), I go to Best Buy. From my recent trip there I realized why I dont wish to do so moving forward. Customer service is not a priority. I was waiting for support ~10 minutes. I needed a display case unlocked for me. Best Buy should not want customers waiting around during a pandemic. Yet I saw many people just standing around waiting for someone to come assist them. When an employee finally came to ring me up he was persistent on signing me up for a Best Buy credit card. I said no emphatically several times yet he continued to walk me through the process. No means no...why was this a thing? When I attempted to call management, two separate times, no one picked up the call. I had to call HQ who said they couldnt account for this behavior or correct it. Theres a Target next door so at least I have other options. The one extra star is for the employees who are decent.

Terrell, the Assist Manager, was exceptional. I drove an hour to get a TV the online inventory said was in stock and upon arrival was told they did not have. He was able to turn a poor experience around and I left with an even nicer TV! Great customer service!I also had a wonderful experience in appliances a few weeks earlier. I’ll continue to drive the extra distance to this store for my major purchases. Keep up the great work!
My sis wanted to just look. She left with a new TV, and I left with the new Google TV. But, it was nice to actually see things and get it right then. Im glad they didnt die like so many other box stores.
Pretty decent Best Buy at Potomac Yard. Even mid-morning on a weekend, there was still plenty of parking spaces available. We were on a mission to get a printer so that was the main objective. The guy that helped us (didnt catch his name) was helpful, although we did do our research ahead of time. Once we debated and considered the best printer to fit our needs, the same guy was able to check us out at their counter so we didnt have to go to the front of the store.Walking around the store, all the employees wear their mask and keep a disinfecting wipes container at almost every shelf. Restrooms are also clean and well stocked.Prices are pretty comparable. However, I noticed some of their items are out of stock (e.g. Nintendo Switch and one of the printers we were considering). They dont sell floor models.Overall, good experience. Highly recommend you check it out for your electronic needs.

Todd and Victor are true pros, and I absolutely admire Todds patience with me throughout the process, and awesome advice. Finally, his work speaks for itself, he is so detailed and such a perfectionist, I did not think I could get my car to the level he did, but let me tell you, he did an outstanding job. I got a quote from two audio specialty shops in the area that quoted me three times what it ended up being with Best Buy, and the quality of work was exceptional. This Best Buy is mediocre at best. Five items I’ve purchased from here have been faulty, no direct fault to the employees, but a lot of the staff I’ve worked with have overtly nonchalant, unprofessional, or rude attitudes. Also, the staff’s skill and knowledge for the products is frustratingly limited for a tech space.Where I will give credit to this place is that they have a quick process for returns and exchanges. If you know what you want and can get in and out, then this is fine - that’s about all this Best Buy has been capable of.
Not a lot of stock in some areas considering the space. Service is good but i will typically go to Pentagon city first based on stock levels

Went in to purchase a remote starter for my car. Sam was very pleasant to work with! She was very helpful and explained everything throughout the process. She knows her stuff and helped me get the perfect choice for my needs. The only downside was the amount of time for the next installation availability, which is over a month from now. Otherwise, awesome experience and can’t wait to get this remote starter installed!
Waited at curbside pickup for 20 minutes and no one came out with my item. Had to go in and get it instead of waiting longer. They apparently forgot that curbside exists. Totally forgot why I stopped going to Best Buy but this was a great reminder.

Great and quick curbside pick up. Park in designated spot. Click on link provided in your email and tell them about your vehicle and parking spot number. They brought out my PS5, verified ID and placed it in my trunk. Very happy with this service. And this location. Previously I also returned an item and was able to do so without a receipt. Everyone seems friendly.

Had a Viper alarm installed in my 2017 Expedition. Jason was very helpful and knowledgeable! Very pleasant attitude and courteous! I would recommend him to others. However the wait time between making the appointment and having the actual work done was too long! BB/Geek Squad need to hire more experienced installers at this store to keep the wait time down.
Has products that are hard to find at other locations. Not enough sales people who knows whats available or not. I asked someone for the new Google buds and he left to go ask someone and never came back. I had to find someone else.

I recently had my Thinkware U1000 dash camera installed on my car. Ibrahim did a fantastic job hardwiring this device to my car. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I recommend Best Buy give this guy a performance bonus ASAP!

I purchased two 43 Samsung TVs. Totaling over $600 in revenue. I received one in great condition, beautiful TV. The other TV I picked up curbside- upon unboxing, after following all instructions- using two people, laying flat, etc, the TV was COMPLETELY shattered. About 1/4 of the screen even turning on. I returned to the store the very next day and conveyed my concerns and requested a return. The associate said I would have to wait for them to inspect the box and I cordially agreed and allowed. I did nothing wrong so I figured it would be fine- but I had read horror stories about this location so I was getting a little uneasy. Nonetheless I waited about 20 minutes and a different gentleman came out- apparently the General Manager, Geoffrey Bishop. I work in the hotel industry as a manager myself- this was some of the WORST customer service I had ever experienced. He told me that I had damaged the TV MYSELF. Do you think if I had damaged the TV that I would even attempt to bring it back? I explained that I had just bought 2 TVs from him and all he could say was we cant accept return of damaged goods. I understand BBs policy on damaged items, BUT the manager has complete discretion on doing the RIGHT thing. He couldve offered me an exchange, discount, credit. ANYTHING. But the man did no such thing and did not even apologize nor pay any sympathy. I had just purchased 2 pricey items, and nothing. I conveyed this to him and he almost just shrugged his shoulders and then proceeded to tell me my TV was worth nothing and asked me if I wanted it back or not. Needless to say, myself and my family certainly will never be shopping here again. And to everyone else- make sure to have them unbox them and test them in front of you.Update as of 7/1: I had called customer service the day after pickup, and they informed me that I had a right to return the item. So I did via UPS. The first woman I spoke to was lovely and ensured me I would have a refund. The second man about a week later (I was checking on the status) told me they would have to inspect it again and then decide if I would receive a refund. He stated if I didnt hear from them 15 days from the delivered UPS date, I would receive a refund. That turned out to be the case today. Regardless, I did receive a refund, just be prepared to work for it.
Good knowledgeable floor associates who use the products they sell. I have no issues with the floor associates in all departments. I have purchased appliances, mobile devices and accessories and have had a good experience.Terrible customer service desk due to the rude employee T..... Shop in this store but avoid the customer service desk. She was rude to me and I have observed her being rude to all customers in line ahead of me and behind me. The 1st incident I brought this to the managements attention, 2nd time reported to corporate, and 3rd spoke with management and now I came here.In my opinion and the opinion of other customers who I have spoken with who have been in line with me observing her actions at the customer service counter. She is rude and has been every time I have interacted with her. Not just a bad day just a bad customer service rep. I hope management makes a change at the desk.
Terrible store, terrible customer service.We bought a microwave in May 2021,2 months later, they finally scheduled the delivery and installation (July 30th)The morning of July 30th I get an email saying “today is the day, be ready between 11:30am-2:30pm”The appliance never showed up, no-one called.I went to the store myself to enquire about it in person. The very young employees simply told me“Someone is going to call you to reschedule your installation, it can’t be done today” . No explanation, no reasons why, no one called to say they had to reschedule. They left us waiting all day for the delivery and installation. This is after 2 months of purchase. The worst part is, the way they push away customers when there’s an issue. They DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH CONCERNS AFTER THEY MAKE THE SALE. Once they take your money, you’re on your own. When I called the Geeks-quad, the answering mashine says “we’re not taking any calls today”The store employees simply say “someone will call you”AVOID THIS STORE, save yourself a headache.I’m attaching a picture of my email where you can clearly see when I purchased the microwave, the date of scheduled delivery, the day of their email saying “get ready between the hours of 11:30am and 2:30pm”. And NOTHING .. In the process of rescheduling.
I had an overall poor experience at this location. I walked in to just grab a last second gift for my mom and couldnt get an ounce of help. The store was by no means full at all. Especially in the mobile department. I stood in the isle waiting for help as people just pasted me by. One associate was with a customer right next to me and didnt even take the second to wave over a colleague to help me. Didnt even say hello. A manager (I could tell by the outfit) walked past me, after getting someone elses money, only offering an excuse while walking them out. He never came back to check on me. I saw him take a different isle walking back. Guess I didnt look like a big spender, so he couldnt be bothered. After waiting 30 minutes someone came by and asked if I needed any assistance. At this point I was alone so long I decided what I wanted. ALL he had to do was retrieve it from the case. He said I will be right back and then I can ring you up. 15 minutes later... No where to be found. I took my business to Target. I was in and out of a busier Target in less the half of the time I wasted in this Best Buy location.
My visit was unexpected and needed a comfortable room. When I reserved my room online I couldnt believe my eyes. They were having a special and my cost was less thann$100 for a two day weekend. My television conveniently turned on at 9:45 am to wake me up and I didnt even program it to happen. I guess its one of those things that helps them get guest checked out on time. I recommend the red roof Inn on Richmond hwy located in Alexandria VA.
Mask policers. watch out! I was in there on Sunday after the state of virginia had lifted the mask mandate the week before.. and was asked to put a mask on. Not cool.
Was recycling some e-waste and greeter immediately directes me to the new collection area near the customer service desk. Very attentive and helpful.

I love when I am able to post something positive. Today, I went to this store for a vehicle installation. I had an appointment set from the beginning of January for today. Upon my arrival, I was told that my appointment had to be pushed back because of issues with another car. My vehicle would have to be left overnight to be worked on in the morning. I was furious! I was directed to talk to the GeekSquad manager. Mr. P.J. Fortson kindly explained how it has been difficult lately to keep schedule with no room for errors in this imperfect world we live in. His customer service and patience brought my frustration down from 100 to 0. It was a great experience. He made sure I had everything I needed for my new appointment that I didnt have from the previous store that scheduled my first appointment. Just walking around the store I could see and hear other associates really engaged with their customers. I could really feel that, as a customer, you are the focal point of this store! By far the worst customer service ever. They delivered our refrigerator and left in the hallway because they need to send a special team to put it in. Special team was scheduled for today (11days after purchased, 3 days after sitting in my hallway) between 7am and 1pm. They didn’t arrive until 1:30pm and said they were called just to install it and that they are not the special team and that they have no idea what we are talking about. Now we have been on hold for over an hour to speak with the supervisor because they can’t install it and if we want them to take it we have to pay a $70 fee because there is nothing wrong with the refrigerator?! The refrigerator is in the hallway not even plugged in, what do you mean nothing is wrong? I am never going to purchase anything else from Best Buy again.
I appreciate the gentleman that helped me yesterday when I exchanged my TV. He walked back and forth to my car about 5 times. His energy and professionalism stayed the same. Not only was he looking out for my safety, he cared enough for my customer experience to assist with everything I needed. All Best Buys Ive ever visited were great. But this particular location, and that particular gentleman, made my visit that much better!
Had everything I needed and fast customer floor service. After buying a new laptop I had to stand in line for 20 min in order to make an appointment for the next day to turn in my old and new laptops for conversion so I could come back in 4 to 5 days to pick them up. Theres a unessary step in there. Why could I just turn the laptops in the day I bought the new one instead of returning the next day only to turn them in for 4 to 5 days?
