I started shopping at Lakeshore nearly ten years ago as a teacher and now shop as a parent and aunt. I love the organizational tools, all the engaging toys (the dramatic and imaginative play toys have been our favorites), and tons of arts and crafts supplies.I recently placed an order for curbside and when they forgot one of my bags (it was a large order), the store manager offered to drive the bag out to my house that night. Talk about amazing customer service!! They have made me a loyal lakeshore customer!

I absolutely love this place. As a 7th year teacher, 2nd year as a 6th grade math teacher- they have everything I need; from classroom decor to actual math manipulates and other classroom essential resources. I love their self serve lamination station too! The staff are super friendly and helpful.

This is an amazing store not only for teachers but parents too. Many amazing things to strengthen education.

They have a great selection of teaching related supplies, books, and art equipment (such as bulletin board letters, construction paper, tempura paints, sidewalk chalk, and other things). In addition, they have things you need to teach at home such as CD players and pencil sharpeners. The staff is very pleasant and helpful, including the manager that I spoke to over the phone recently.

Everytime I go, the experience is 5 stars. The employees go above and beyond to help make the experience easy with recommendations. And are just all-around friendly folk. Havent been to any other location than Alexandria, but that store leaves you wishing every store gave the same level of customer service!

The Lakeshore Learning Store in Alexandria is a wonderful supply store for parents and educators alike. They have an excellent selection of learning materials, supplementary resources, teacher/student organization items, art supplies, flexible seating, bulletin board decorations, and much more. The quality of the learning materials at Lakeshore Learning Store is unparalleled to any other store or online shop I have purchased from. The staff are extremely helpful and were open and willing to answer all of my questions and even offered to assist me in finding the materials and items I needed for my COVID-19 at home classroom. I really appreciated how Lakeshore Learning Store was enforcing social distancing guidelines and the use of a mask for its employees and customers.It is refreshing to know that there is a quality learning store nearby where I can purchase supplementary materials for homeschooling. I strongly encourage you to check out this amazing store and see all of the great things Lakeshore Learning has to offer!

Lakeshore is an excellent place to buy educative toys. They are very good for presents

My husband and I shopped at the store today. The store was very organized and had many interesting education products. However, one of the workers there (Renee?) was super rude. She did not say hello to us even though she was friendly to other customers. She also kept rushing down the aisles where we were standing without saying excuse me. Thankfully, Tommy checked us at the end. He was friendly and kind. He even asked whether we needed to find anything during our visit.

I tried to order online but shipping costs were around $20 and it would take a 7-10 business days for my order to reach me. So I decided to drive out to the Alexandria store. It was easier than expected, I just went down Braddock to Fairfax County Parkway. Lakeshore Learning is in a shopping center near a Pet Supply Store. Parking wasnt too bad. I was able to find everything I needed and the people at checkout were friendly.

Wow, what a selection, I can spend hours browsing this store for my five kids. Great educational materials and more. Puzzles and gsmes. Crafts and art supplies. I cant drag my 5 year old out.

I wish they had more stores like this one . Lakeshore learing Store has very good educational products . I like buying here from all my nephews and friend kids. They all love their posters and other educational books.

Great store. Ive seen this store for years but never went inside until recently. It is Amazing! Toys are great and very affordable. Weekly free art classes for kids.

Went in January 28th at approximately 7:30pm siri drop off a small business flyer. Front desk lady service was not the best needs a lot of work

I love this store! They have a free crafts station available every saturday till 3pm. Jenny who leads them is amazing! You can find anything and everything you need for kids learning under one roof. Pricy but worth the investment!
