Excellent book store! Great selection, friendly staff, and lots of local flavor. A must when visiting Alexandria.

They had just what I needed--a great selection of childrens board books. I was greeted as I walked in--the staff lady was friendly and helpful! She pointed me right to the childrens books.They also had a good selection of new fiction and non-fiction.

I love this bookstore the booksellers who are so helpful and knowledgeable. And if they dont have the book you seek, they will order it for you. A fun place to spend the afternoon.

At first the service was great but when I went to check out they gave me a hard time for using my bank card for a small purchase (less than $2). One of the clerks made some comment about the fees. I dont usually carry cash, its the 21st century, a lot of people dont.Bank fees for credit card transactions are a part of doing business, if a business has an issue with the fees they have to pay on small purchases then they need to have a policy on no cards on purchases under a certain amount. Of course, if they had such a policy they would have lost my sale today, then again because of their reaction today I wont be back to buy the books I was considering buying so they lost all future sales I may make.

This is a great little bookstore in Alexandria. I went to buy tickets to a local concert, but was impressed with the book selection.
