I appreciate the king street Verizon and Gary so much. This man spent hours working on my Apple ID and was kind gracious and patient as ever. He had more patience than me and it was my issue.Gary thank you so much I’ve been a Verizon customer 20 years and have never witnessed somebody so good at what they do. A lot of customers came in and out and this man knew exactly what to do. It was actually incredible witnessing it.Come here to the king street Verizon by Safeway come see Gary if you want great service.Thanks Verizon from a true loyal customer.

Edit: I didnt actually post the original review. I went to the store bought a new phone and surprise somehow there is a 5 star review....changing that to 1 - flat out fraud. Only found out when Google sent me an email about my review. Now I wonder what else he accessed on my phone other than posting a fake review for himself. Will never go here again!I dont always wait on long lines but when I do its with kamala. Great staff and location. Worth the wait.

I was in this store today in Alexandria and I was so impressed with the agent who helped me for 3 hours. His name was SALIM. He was working by himself as the other agent has not arrived yet. I arrived around 12pm and didn’t leave till 330pm. He was helping me with upgrading to a new phone, fixing the IWatch. In between there were customers coming in. So while downloading something for my phone to do the transfer, he was multi tasking and helping other customers. He was very patient, thorough in explaining the solutions to the clients at the same time very courteous. He never lost his patience and made sure he assisted each customer with their problems and not wasting time on between. Wish we have more customer service agents like him. He cares for every customer that their concerns are assisted to in a timely manner.. WELL DONE SALIM 👏

As a lyft driver its very important for me to have a working phone. When my Verizon phone started messing up I came into the store. I wasnt excited about getting a new phone but Gary saved me money and gave me great options.

Gary did a great job, however I was given a faulty phone. After sitting in the store for 4 hours on a Saturday attempting to have the new A51 activated, I was told to take it home and a Verizon rep would call me. Nobody called so I called them and received no help on their end. I went back to the store and the rep called another employee. I over heard him mention that they gave me the faulty phone and it was supposed to be sent back. At that point I asked for my money back. I only received what I payed in taxes back. I was told the rest was the activation fee. Nobody activated anything and I never had the opportunity to use the phone. Even though the phone never worked, I was told thats our policy and its non-refundable activation fee for performing the work. Again, nothing was activated. On top of this, you activated insurance on the phone that I was never informed about or asked about and because I returned the phone and continued to use my old phone, that insurance transferred to the old phone. I found this out the next day when I went to a real Verizon store and was in and out in 20 min with a new phone that was working. This store has poor asset management and needs to better inform customers of tag on fees and should not be adding items to customers accounts without informing them. You should only be charging customers after you complete a job.

Gary was incredibly helpful and patient to my wife and young son when we came in for an upgrade due to broken phones. I was also impressed at how he managed not only us but also the other customers in the store in a kind and efficient way. Well definitely be going back!

My iPhone died unexpectedly on Friday, so I ended up at this Verizon location. Kofi and Lisette saved the day. To be fair, it took two trips but only because they made sure I knew the best deal available to me through my account and that I had everything I needed. I genuinely saved hundreds of dollars because of their patience. They worked with corporate when something wasnt showing up right and even let me use their phone since mine was dead... Thank you!! Second phone Ive purchased here and I will keep coming back.

I was basically robbed for $440 by the manager at this store! He told me about a promotion and completely screwed me over by lying and promising a future refund. I don’t know how this would benefit this manager, but he continued to tell me I would get half off an iPhone with the return of my older one. This guy is a joke and deserves to be relieved of his duties. I called customer care and felt they legitimately tried to help but couldn’t do anything about it being that this was not a “corporate store” although it is a Verizon store. Terrible way to run a business.....

Please AVOID this store at ALL COST!!! they will - let me rephrase - Gary W (store manager) will only scam you. Not only did he charge me an extra $250 ($1,360 total for a new iPhone Pro Max 12 128GB) that retails $1,110 before taxes, but he also made sure to charge me the $69.99 fee for the READY?Go! Premium package when I never received an activation or data transfer service in the store. I left the store with the iPhone in a sealed box. I called Verizon prior to returning to this store and was informed that I was, in fact overcharged. You will be better off going to another Verizon store over this shady establishment.

My wife and I brought her old MOTO to this location for an upgrade due her phone literally coming apart at the seams. Kofi was there to help us and delivered top-notch customer service! He greeted us curteously and was a professional throughout our experience. He took his time and showed us various phones and when my wife settled on the Samsung S21, Kofi made sure to transfer all her data, pictures, etc., brought her up-to-date on its latest features, recommended the Otter protection case, and talked with her about the new incentives and programs Verizon offers - all while helping other customer who walked in after us. My wifes new S21 is just the device she needed for her growing small business. I purchased a new phone today at the Verizon king street location. When I arrived there were 3 customers ahead of me and only one Verizon representative Salam. I hope I spelled his name correctly. He was so professional as he moved quickly and helped each individual so efficiently. I was extremely appreciative of the time he took to explain the phone, options, and making sure everything crossed over from old phone. I hung around awhile to ensure I felt comfortable with the changes while he assisted new incoming customers. He even downloaded 2 app for me to use if I had technical issues later and spam callers. He was fast, efficient, professional and kind and I appreciated all of that. Thank you Salim for excellent customer service.

He didnt have what I wanted in stock, so instead of telling me that, he tried bringing out something else that was wholly inadequate and pitched it as what I was looking for.

Do not go to this Verizon store. There should be a negative stars review option available for this review. I was treated very rudely with a simple issue I had with my phone. The employee talked down to me and his only solution for my problem was to buy a newer and more expensive phone. All he wanted to do was make money for himself and not really help me. I knew his solution was ridiculous. I ended up going to another Verizon store and they were able to resolve my issue with no cost to me. Once again, please dont go to this Verizon store. Thank you.
