They take care of fertilizing, pruning, and other flower bed maintenance really well. They also do a great job with edging along all concrete surfaces. They call to give updates and explain any services that differ from usual.

Grass Hopper just finished bringing my yard back to life. Winter always leaves lots of overgrown plants and shrubs, leaves, and a massive amount of weeds. Gary came to the house, I told him what I wanted done, and he sent me an estimate. The estimate was comprehensive and set out everything I wanted. Review and final acceptance was all done online, making it very easy for all. Once work started, everything went on schedule. The two gentlemen who pruned shrubs, pulled weeds, cut back overhanging branches, cleaned vines off of 30 feet of fencing, spread mulch and pine straw, and planted summer annuals began early and worked non-stop until all was done to my satisfaction. They were very polite every time I checked on things. They hauled away all debris and left my yard in excellent shape. My husband and I are very satisfied, and we will be repeat customers.

I own a rental that has been vandalized and is vacant. I made an agreement with someone else to cut the grass. Assuming he was doing his job I did not go by and check. All spring and summer he charged, I paid, without him cutting. Grasshopper took this overgrown lawn and did a good job of whipping it into shape, they are accountable and responsible and I appreciate their organized help.

Grasshopper is very punctual with scheduled days. The lawn always looks great and everyone has been so friendly when I have been contacted for any reason.

Having someone come out and look at what was wanted was easy. It took no time at all. Then, they call you and follow up about the proposal to try and get your business. They made me feel like they wanted my business and were ready to earn it.However, once you sign the proposal, the communication and concern stop. I waited and waited, not knowing when they would come. I finally got a text the night before saying it was dispatched. I chained a dog up in the heat and put another in the house so they could get the job done. Late afternoon, I made contact with them only to find out it was a mistake and they didnt plan on working on my yard.That evening, I got ANOTHER text saying it was dispatched. I repeat the process with the dogs that morning, only to find out - after I made contact with them again, that they would not be coming to my house.I got yet another text about it getting dispatched and repeat the process for the 3rd time with the dogs. This time, I get a call that we cant get the supplies the afternoon when they are supposed to be there.I waited about 1 month and finally get another text saying dispatched. This time, they did show up. They did the job they were paid to do, but not to the level that I have heard they do. The clean up afterwards was good and the presentation was nice, but after the first rain, all the flaws in their work really showed. The unleveled work, filling with mud dirt rather than proper product.This is the second job I have had them do and I am torn because the first, maybe 2 years ago, left me in complete awe at how great they did. This time may have been a complete fluke, but it leaves me concerned about hiring them again in the near future for any jobs.

GH replaced some of my lawn sprinklers last year. The original sprinklers were several years old and I decided to go with a newer model in the front yard. I was extremely pleased with the crew and the job they did. Just recently I had to call them to make an adjustment on one of the sprinklers and Gary completed the service call in minimum time. Will be using them again for any problem I encounter with the lawn sprinklers. Good guys to work with!

Not happy with this company at all. I have caught their employees using the restroom behind my dumpsters. They charge way too much for the quality of work that they do. When I go home, there is grass all around my front and back doors like nothing has been blown off. Just an all around poor job. I mentioned something to the people in the office about my flower beds and the dead plants and they told me to trim them back and they would grow back. Not sure why I pay for upkeep on flower beds when they want me to do it myself. Definitely do not recommend this company for anyone. And no you will not find this name in your records because its under a company name. Take this as criticism and do better. Not make excuses for why and how you do everything like I have seen you do on numerous reviews on here.Like I said, excuses for everything. Now apparently my review is fake. I promise it is not. Its ok though because I have switched to a much better lawn care company now.

Dont waste your time calling this company in Alexandria, LA. They are unorganized and unprofessional. Long story short, they are half-ass. I came home to my gate left open, which immediately told me that they did not pay attention to detail. My backyard looked like it was barely cut and that they were going as fast as possible. The grass was not bagged and it was uneven. Also, there was a 15 x 15 section underneath a tree that I specifically informed the receptionist that it needed to be raked. It was left untouched. When I called the company to ask about the unraked section they told me that it was not communicated from the receptionist to the work order. Instead of trying to fix the situation and retain me as a customer he told me that he would give me a discount and then I could take care of it myself...... The two photos give true examples of the amount of attention to detail they gave. And the fact that the owner responded to this review and the only thing that was said was please see the agreement below. You see no apology nor did do see a way to fix the situation. All you see is the proposal agreement! Bringing me back to my initial point of this company being unprofessional. I know it is just yard service but please keep in mind who you let in your back yard.
