The owner of Chinoiserie, Peter, is a helpful and lovely human with a wonderful eye for design. I have been a customer of his for more than 5 years, and I have loved being so for the wonderful home objects Ive acquired, but also for the chance to talk with him at every visit. Peter has a unique eye for new and antique Scandinavian and Japanese items, amongst other things, and he also has a small but impressive collection of contemporary jewelry. This is the only store of its kind in the area, and is a treasure to all customers.

Cute little store that sell unique style of household items from the mid century era. There a mix of antiques and also new items with a great price range that will accommodate many buyers. The owner is very nice and helpful.

Love this place! My sister and I went in on Saturday and (I’m sorry, I can’t find his card so don’t know his name) the owner was incredibly nice and he has some of the most unique things for sale! I wish there was a way to purchase on line because where my sister lives there, I do not. I would recommend to anyone who would like to get a unique gift for that someone special.

Fantastic little store with treasures for the kitchen and house I havent seen anywhere else. Japanese teapots and bells, Finnish glass and serveware, jewelry from the UK, 1970s style cookware, and an eclectic range of books. Some serious self control needs to be exercised here!
