This is literally my top 10 favorite head shops to go to. I have never had bad service in this place and this time was no different. I was looking for a downstem for my Little Sista Rasta Roor, which had been broken for months and couldnt be found at any of the other shops that I went to. The person at the store wouldnt stop looking until he found one close enough to the right size and would fit the Roor. Im so grateful that he kept looking as this is my oldest piece. He even offered to take my number down and call me when an ordered one came in, right before he found it. This is true customer service and only one of the reasons to go to this shop.

Went in for an ash catcher and bowl. No problem with the employee knowing his stuff but he was frustratingly dismissive of the possibility that I knew what I was talking about or looking for.Instead of building rapport and servicing my needs, the employee decided to try and upsell me on a bong; on the logic that the ash catcher options were overpriced and cost the same as a small bong. I agreed that the ash catchers were overpriced at about 25 percent above what I would say are average prices, but that’s what I came for. My lack of interest did not dissuade him from them being dismissive of my customer service needs and continuing with his spiel. Considering they can only help one person at a time in the pandemic, I would’ve expected him to be more cognizant of what I want and not what he thinks I should take home that day. I definitely got a “shakedown street” or bazaar kind of vibe (which is not cool).In spite of this I bought the ash catcher and bowl. The only other mention I’ll make about cost is that the employee openly agreed that most of the products were overpriced, especially the signature mustache lighter which is logarithmically more expensive than when they first opened. Take from that what you will?I really didn’t get the vibe that he shared enthusiasm for making a purchase that usually accompanies the usual glass purchasing experience that I have come to look forward to. He did not thank me for my patronage. That experience wasn’t worth the effort it took to find parking in Old Town.

Was passing through and decided to stop and explore the town. Ran into this shop and got a nice affordable piece. They also have good social distance rules/behavior

UPDATE: Staff was excellent when it came to service. Now I am updating my review. I came ONLY seven months ago. I paid a PRETTY penny for the steamroller I am posting the picture of. I was just cleaning it with a brush no pressure with just cleaner. THE BOWL BROKE. I am disappointed it shows the quality of glass was very shoddy. I NO LONGER reccomend this place and will never return. :(

This store sells cheap stuff that doesn’t last at prices that are way to high. They act like they are better than everyone else. I would recommend going to a gas station rather that wasting your money

The glass stache have a lot of interesting gadgets amongst tobacco items they have things that you havent even thought of they have them and they are animal friendly their quick and convenient

Very helpful and friendly staff. They gave me the same price for a set of atomizers as listed from the companies website, saving me the hassle of shipping. Spent a good amount of time showing me a product over multiple visits, answering every question, and showing me how to use it when I finally just purchased one. They even went above and beyond, creating their own user guide that far surpasses the manufacturers own, showing they truly care about the customers usage and experience. Highly recommend!

I have been going here for years. I love it. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly about each piece they carry, and they always have high quality glass. They get it from all over the US! They also have all the papers and filters and things like that that you would ever need to enjoy your smoking pleasures. Its a fun part of the Old Town community.

Great selections of anything smokeable. Plus CBD products, pipes, bubblers, lighters,etc. Worth a visit. Will be back when cannabis is legalized to purchase more paraphernalia.

Down here from P.A. on vacation stopped in to see whats new been outta the scene for a bit I would have to say this is probably one of of the best glass shops I have ever laid my eyes on! The owner/operator and the mascot a furry little beastie! Greets me with the most respect and professionalism I have ever seen in a glass shop 2 thumbs if youre down in Alexandria VA (the old town) stop by get your self a beautiful piece of functional art you will not be disappointed

I love coming here! The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. I picked up a few essentials, a case and a few stickers last time I went and got a few of those things for free and at a discount! They stock local artist as well as high-end pieces. Their selection is not HUGE since the place is very small but they probably have what you need if youre going there for something specific. Theyve got custom lighters, too! Theres usually a cute doggy hanging out behind the counter if youre in need of some puppy-loves :)

Extremely good customer service and the owner spent a solid 45 minutes and made sure we had everything we need and was very helpful with his product knowledge. Probably the best glass shop in Northern Virginia. Would definitely recommend as the prices were reasonable too.

Great little glass shop in Old Town Alexandria. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Theres even a little dog there sometimes behind the counter :) Their prices are a little higher than what im used to but youre supporting a local business shopping there so I really dont mind.

They are simply the best folks to do business with. The young lady who waited on me went to great lengths to explain and demonstrate how to operate various devices. If youre coming in from a legal state you will be shocked by the prices for even a simple piece. That being said I suppose the market determines the value and since your options are limited you are allowed to charge this much. If this is all you got to get a piece in a pinch it will work. But Id reccomend any west coasters to just buy a new piece at home and travel with it clean. You will save alot

A very small shop but sells most of what youre looking for when it comes to tobacco products. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable in the merchandise they sell. Because the shop is so small, there is no real walking room. Its truly an in and out place. Grab what you need and move on.

Beautiful blown glass; made into sturdy reliable pieces. The staff is always friendly and helpful. One of my favorite shops, and a wonderful stop if just strolling around Old Town Alexandria, or out catching Pokemon.

This is a really great shop. I went there for the Storz & Bickel mighty and also some of the mighty accessories as well as a vape pen. There was this Sweeney Todd girl working there and she was really cool and helpful. I rate 10/10 will shop again.

Pretty much the only place for miles with a weath of local glass and heady pieces. This coustom pipe shop has it all and the prices are fairly reasonable. Small and quaint but packed with quality stuff.

Walked in to look for a new grinder. Was greeted and welcomed in nicely by a gentlemen and we discussed about some vaporizers. Once I made it to the back counter where the grinders are I asked a black haired girl about a particular grinder. She pulled it out of the case and began to describe its features. She said it had a humidor in it. Never heard of a humidor on a grinder. Trying to understand what she meant more I asked her if what she was referring to was a keef catcher. Was immediately denied service and kicked out for saying an illicit word. Drove a long way to check the shop out. Very unfortunate.

This is a nice upscale smoke shop for those people looking for unique offerings that are artistic from local artists in various forms of glass as well as some high end machines. Prices are a little high, but what do you expect in Old Town Alexandria.

AVOID AT ALL COST !!! I recently visited this store and had by far the worst experience ever. For anyone whos looking for some high-quality tobacco products or pipes, I strongly suggest you stay away from this place. Last week I visited this store with a friend of mine in the area. As we walked towards their store, after spending about 30 mins looking for a place to park(they dont have their own parking! Be prepared to circle around crowded Alexandria downtown for parking!) I noticed their employees staring at us out the window. We both felt little awkward but this was just a beginning to more awkwardness this place presented to us! As soon as I opened the door, their employees stopped us and demanded us to handover our IDs. Checking to make sure you are over 18 is absolutely understandable, but their strong, forceful tone made us want to leave this place before we even entered.Once we passed their security test(?) we entered the store and looked around. My friend asked for price on couple of their products and we found their employees asking each other for the price, they seemed to be debating over the price which was weird and made me not want to stay there any longer. When we finally got our answer to our simple question, I noticed that it was far more expensive than the retail prices! Sure, for the convenience that these stores provide, customers generally expect to pay a modest mark up price. However, charging $100 or more on top of the retail price made me realize that this place is just has no such a thing as modest mark up price. Despite their unprofessional customer service, my friend was still going to purchase some product but as soon as we heard how ridiculously overpriced they are, we couldnt stay here any longer. Please do your research on prices and products before entering this place or you will most likely end up paying more than any other places!!! Also if you still plan to go here for whatever you need, make sure you check to see if they are even authorized re-seller for many of their items, because I didnt see any stickers that other places have at their door to show that they are authorized re-sellers.After this horrible experience, I went on Yelp to see what kind of reviews they have, I wasnt surprised to find a similar experience by many customers who gave 1 out of 5 for this place. Only thing I liked about this place is their name, The Glass Stache. I am sure many people think this place would be friendly and professional but dont be fooled ! As we left this place, we both laughed at their name and thought The Gross Stache is a better name for this place.

WORST SALES GUARANTEE and a HORRENDOUS OWNER. My husband bought an item from their store for a gift and I didnt want that so went to return it but they refused to refund the money $50 or give in store credit and said they would give only a 20% discount for another product. Wouldnt even work with us on something different. Plus went home and their product didnt even work like it said. This place is a joke and obviously needed the money more than our business in the future.
