A lovely shop with really attentive and extremely helpful staff who provided the education needed to make my first purchases. I felt very comfortable and welcomed here. Everything was really clean with excellent sanitation methods. I definitely will shop here again!

The store associates were very helpful and knowledgeable about all the products without being pushy. They gave great product recommendations, and pros and cons to each option. The store itself has a very inclusive atmosphere, and lots of products were reimagined designs of older ideas that are more inclusive to LGBTQ+ people and women. Some of these types of stores have a sort of... sleazy and pervy vibe to them? (if that makes sense-- very male gaze oriented) but this one is not like that at all. Location is great, and the whole thing was a very fun experience! 😃

This shop is the best! They’ve taken wonderful precautions during the pandemic (if you touch toys they are sanitized before putting back, limited amount of people, etc.) and the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It’s a very sex-positive experience! I would recommend an appt during this time since they are VERY popular (especially on the weekends).

They are knowledgeable and know their jobs very well. I really didnt know what to get and describing what I wanted the woman there was able to help me pick a few things. Though for someone like me talking with a woman about these types of products would normally be very awkward but they are very professional and only want to help.

Have gone to several sex ed events here and have always enjoyed them. Staff is wonderfully knowledgeable, professional, and funny! Have also shopped a few times and found some of my new favorite products here. They only carry the highest quality products, from body safe intimate products/brands to well made apparel. Today I went to find lingerie for my anniversary that is coming up and Alyssa was super sweet and so so helpful. She took my measurements and helped me find cute pieces based on what I liked, and ultimately taught me how to lace up my own corset. So happy to have a great little business nearby with staff who actually care.

One of my favorite places, when I visit Alexandria. The staff there is so helpful and knowledgeable. Youre free to explore the shop without the fear of someone hovering over your shoulder. But if you have a question, all you have to do is ask!

Im a plus size girl and enjoy corsets and beautiful quality made lingerie.. the staff was absolutely fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to be around. This shop is amazing! The best way I could describe Lotus Blooms would be that its classy, whimsical, luxurious yet understated, and sophisticated. Everything in the store is arranged in a way such that you feel like youre in a large, fancy closet. No vulgar and/or cheap shrink-wrapped packaging to be found here. If youre looking for cheesy or cheap, this isnt the place to be. The items they carry are great value-wise in terms of the quality you get for the money you pay...but everything they carry is high-quality, so if youre looking for cheap single-use items, this isnt the place to go. Ive been here twice...one of those times was to find a mask for a masquerade party, and found a beautiful lace one that was only ~$25; was super impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. The store has educational events, but I havent yet attended one so its hard to speak to those, though the staff were all very knowledgeable but discreet/non-pushy...they give you the space and freedom to browse as you please, and only really talk to you if you approach them first. As far as what the store carries...they carry a wide range of items, from fancy lingerie to standard sex toys to books to kinky accoutrements like whips/collars/handcuffs, etc. Would highly recommend them!

I cannot say enough about this store. Staff is spot on! The most extensive plus size lingere I have ever seen instock. Nice variety of products. The place looks and feels like a buduior, it puts you in the mood when you go in. Velvet chairs and long mirrors, This tiny entrance way so you won’t be spotted from the street. They even know the TSA rules and will steer you clear of buying a toy that will be confiscated before you can get it home. Truly an experience, I will be back!
