What an exceptional leather goods store! I was visiting from Manhattan, where I have been looking to buy a nice purse for my daughter for a while. I found the perfect gift at Serafino yesterday. The quality and selection is unmatched by anything Ive seen in Manhattan. Also, the very knowledgeable sales staff were extremely helpful in guiding me to the perfect purse (not too old ladyish) for my daughter. I gave the purse to her yesterday and she absolutely loves it.

This is an amazing leather shop. I had wanted to replace my bag purchased in Florence and was thrilled to find this store. The selection is far superior to anything else you will find in the area. The service was fantastic. The biggest issues was limiting my purchases. They also had a nice selection of Italian notecards, keg rings and other items.

This is the best leather shop in the US. It reminds me of a great shop we discovered in Florence.Selection is fantastic; I think theyre the only Chiaruggi dealer in America.Prices are reasonable. Not cheap, obviously. But for the exceptional quality, theyre very nicely priced.The owners are amazing and friendly.

I have been looking for a nice leather jacket to fit my 6 2 175 lb frame for at least 10 years. The body is always too big and the sleeves are always to short. I was ready to spend whatever it took to have one tailor made. I walked in to this store on a whim as we were just window shopping on our first visit to Alexandria. I walked out 10 minutes later with a beautiful brown leather jacket that actually fits me. The gentleman that waited on us was knowledgable but not pushy at all. I tried on one jacket, the one he selected, and I knew it was right as soon as I slipped it on.

I bought leather goods in Florence many years ago and I could tell immediately this shop has the same quality goods. Beautiful!
