While doing routine cleaning/maintenance on my older classical guitar, I saw what I thought was a potential structural issue. So, I contacted Luis and was able to meet him at his shop the next day. After inspecting, he quickly determined that it was normal/as-built and clearly explained why with details. There was no charge for the assessment. I appreciated his friendly demeanor, excellent knowledge, organization/ease of communication, and honesty.I was also able to see and hear his custom guitars in person. Beautiful in appearance and incredible sounding.

Expensive yet slow service.Does not go out of the way to offer value for money. There are better luthier services in the area, so its worth shopping around and comparing luthiers in our area for your particular needs.

Luis saved my 1974 Manzanero. He expertly replaced the fingerboard to make the guitar playable once again. Very few luthiers are capable of this repair on a classical guitar. Now the action is easy and responsive. It notes perfectly without compensation. It only took a few weeks and came in way under budget. He truly is an expert craftsman. Dont trust just anyone with your prized instruments. I cannot recommend his services highly enough.

Luis did a refret and setup on a 1970 Gibson ES-330 for me. We met and he talked me through several options I had with him refretting and tuning up my guitar. I felt like my guitar was in good hands. Picked up the guitar about a week later and it now plays brilliantly. Luis was timely, professional, and very skilled in his work.
