Called earlier in the day to see what time they were open till as I needed an oil change on my car. Pulled in at 419 as they said they close at 5pm which was confirmed earlier when I called. The employee said sorry we have our last car on. Lazy workers didnt want to work till their 5pm closing time. Never will come back. Typical of a Walmart location as its quality of services are fitting for its employees.

Ordered four new tires to be installed in house.Wait was fine about an hour. After coming home from work a couple hours later (after driving less than 5 miles) I noticed my drivers side front tire was loose and was able to tighten it myself quite a decent amount. Called the store and was told they would talk to the tech. Two weeks later I brought it in to a mechanic because it still felt off and was told the old weights were left in the new tires, in addition to the new ones. They had to all be rebalanced and I was charged. Brought it back to Walmart and was told they watched the video and had no idea how my tire was loose and that the old weights shouldn’t be in there still. Obviously. Only able to get reimbursed for the charge at the mechanic, nothing for the tires. Don’t use this auto center for tires.

Had 4 tires purchased online from Walmart mounted on my 4Runner today. It took about 10 days for the tires to arrive at the store, and then I set up the install for the next morning. I arrived at 9 for the appointment, and was back on the road with the new tires before 10. Brandon and the guys were great. They even torqued the lugs to spec by hand. Car runs great, feels great. Thanks guys. 5 stars

Made an appointment yesterday for today 2 tires mount and balance. Drove from Elgin to the shop at Walmart in Algonquin just to be told that they dont have my appointment in. What a waste of my time. I had other things I could have done with my morning here than waste my time. Time is money and they just wasted mine.

I went there today to have a key made for an average, run of the mill Ford. No chip, nothing fancy, just a car key. What better place to go, than an AUTO center? So I go up to the guy at the counter and ask for a copy.Me: Can you make a copy of this key for me please? It’s for a FordCashier: (loud SIGH) I’ll try!Me: Uh. Ok thanks.5 minutes later...Cashier: Sorry, this isn’t a Ford key. I have none like it. It doesn’t fit any of the adapters.Huh?? I got the key I wanted copied from Walmart in Huntley. It’s literally a copy of the original. So, I go to the Walmart in Huntley, where some teenaged kid, makes me a copy with no problem whatsoever. Just had my new tires installed and got an oil change. Amazing and respectful crew. They are knowledgeable and courteous, which are two amazing traits to have! This was my first time visiting, and due to the great prices and experience, it wont be my last.

Was quick and easy. Got my shopping done and oil changed at the same time. Everyone was closing early due to NYE. I went to woodmans and waited just to wait. The lady was ride and told me to pull around back and wait. Do not exit cat. I did and I waited. Looked up closing time online and looked at my clock to see they JUST closed. Had been waiting 20 mins. Walmart saved me a lot of time and effort.

My go to for auto repair

Made an appointment, whoever was on the phone didnt write it down because when I came in they didnt see it (their phone is also scratchy). However, the manager (even though mad that once again people werent doing their job and he was having to work way longer than planned), he still helped get my tires installed with a smile. You CANNOT beat walmarts prices on tires and installation. I would absolutely come back here again.

Came in for a tire repair and they did that for $15. Although, they also broke my car door handle. One of the guys there was very disrespectful and had no intentions of helping me handle the issue. Thankfully another man, Jacob, helped out and was very respectful. He also gave me a refund.

The help at Walmart is outstanding. I ordered the tire online at Walmart in wooded to have it installed. I ordered the wrong size and they took care of the return and make sure that I ordered the right size for the next time. And the tires arrived the second time it took about 40 minutes for them to finish installing. I was very happy with their service. Did I mention that I believe I paid 75% of what the lowest price Tire I can find anywhere else.

You cant beat the prices anywhere. Local Tuffy was charging $80 for a synthetic oil change, but I was able to get it done here for $49.99. GET THERE EARLY! They always back up quick, and it is not unheard of to have a 4 hour wait. I tend to drop off my car and pick it up later.

Very helpful but several men in shop it took them longer than quoted to replace tires.

Well I dont know other days but today during the day the auto center was very helpful at changing my battery and my air filter. They gave me quotes on tires. Very good experience at good prices and all done in timely manner.

My car battery died across the street and someone came with me, jumped the car and I was able to drive it to the shop and they replaced my battery. Saved me so much stress, money, & time! The mechanic did not have his name tag visible so I cannot mention his name. So grateful!

I called to speak with a representative that informed me they stopped taking new customers at 4:30pm due to the shop closing at 5pm. I arrived at 4:10pm and was turned away. I spoke with the manager who informed me his employees needed to go home. I explained I needed 5 minutes with of work (wheels switched that were already mounted and balanced. The job was refused. I see this is why the ratings area so low for this location. Unfortunate.

This is an ill equipped service center, I would recommend Discount Tire, you might have to pay for a little more but the service is exceptional at Discount unlike at Walmart. I really would have expected a much better experience from the largest world retailer, very sad....

Horrible place.Went here for a puncture repair, after a 3 hour wait, they said it was fixed, but after a day I found out it was still leaking air. Went back and had to wait for 4 hours this time and they said it cannot be fixed and I had to replace the tires, staff was not friendly, and the technician told he will change the valve but after half an hour wait he said he was not able to replace the valve on the tires. I left the place and the last of the experience was unique since they called me after 2 hours and told that my vehicle was ready to be picked up lol. That was something I have not seen in a long time. I doubt if they know what they are doing.

I come 3 times. I just want to change the engine oil! The first time I come at noon,they told me its faster when you off work time,now is busy. Okay! I come at 5 pm, they told me a hour and a half! When I come the 3rd time, they told me 2 hours! I drive 20mins to here every time,they just waste my time and had really bad attitude!

Came here early in the morning. They told me it would take 1.5 hours, which is ok. I walked around for 2 hours, I walked over because I figured they would be very close to finishing. Instead they told me they couldnt get tire off. I went to Auto Tech in Huntley and they changed it in 30 minutes. I wouldnt go to Walmart to change my tires ever again after they wasted 2 hours of my time instead of just calling me after they realized they couldnt get it off.

The Auto Department is the worst EVER!!!Went in to get a new tire was told they couldnt jack it up...no problem with that only thing is it took an hour to find out (coincidentally my pick up time). Then i went in for a new battery and was told they couldnt put a battery in my 2005 Buick Lesabre Custom ridiculous i guess they stop working 2 hours before closing. I do not and will not recommend Algonquin Walmart on Randall Rd. in Algonquin Illinois to any one the Auto Department sucks. FYI DISCOUNT TIRE CO. INC. change my tire for me the same day 10 min. later. And they are right up the street
