I bought a birthday balloon bouquet for my daughter; birthday garland and supplies.

Glad this place still open, just about the only chain store left, except for the mom and pop stores, but the costs here, well, easily spend $100+ in no time, stick with just the balloon stuff& save money

I have a complaint about the party city in Alhambra location. I had Bad experience with the cashier name Berenice. She has a ver bad attitude and sour face to be in front of the store. Every years since my daughter was born I been going to the store to get party supplies and every since years I been seen this person and same bad attitude same bad experience she has not sense of customer service it makes to feel if I’m the one asking her to buy the stuff for my self!!!! Im bringing business to the store!!! By the way my daughter is three so is clearly this issue is being going for so long already she stings a really bad energy to the store and I could feel the tension going on with her coworkers!Management please do something about this situation. The party city and the whole Alhambra community needs to feel welcome to the store and with employees like HER! People are not enjoying the experience of shopping in the store!

Went early during the week on 01/28 which was a Thursday. There was only one young lady working at that time (from what I could tell) and she was extremely helpful and very nice despite being there alone and helping multiple people at the same time. Good job!!!!

Super great employees! Ran in last minute, about 30 minutes before closing to get latex balloons inflated. Great selection of decorations for any themed party! Wasnt busy so my wait was short!

Clean. Friendly. Nice variety. Deli. Florists. Starbucks. Pharmacy. I dont like that you enter 1 door & have to exit on the other side of the store but I get that its for safety.

The people working in the store looked depressed. Not very welcoming and those that did say something you can tell if was not genuine. Sad shame.

I wanted to use the restroom and it was an emergency and one good for nothing of the employees told me: By the Covid youre not allowed to use the restroom, go to Albertsons or Big Slots. Covid its the perfect reason to treat customers like shut. When they dont want to do their job they are going to say: oh sorry by the Covid we are not allowed to do this or that.

This is one of the worst places you can ever visit. All the time the employees of this store look miserable and behave even more miserable. Went 3 times here and each time there is a wait of 40 mins or more to fill one balloon. Its one balloon! The thing is that whoever they have doing this, is not even busy!. The worst part. They dont even care. Theyre just going through the motion of being there. And management? Yeah, she seemed like she couldnt care less about how her employees behave neither. No wonder places like this are dying. Go here if you want to be treated like a beggar for trying to buy one balloon.

Well this is no longer party city it is actually now a big lots. Nice friendly service. Only down fall I see is that this and many other biglots no longer offer the wheelchair for those who are handicapped ♿. But with covid 19 i understand if this is a precautionary measure.

The balloon I ordered for my nieces 4th birthday arrived way too early. I paid extra for this service and specified it needed to be delivered May 27 (the day of her birthday) which would have been great if she had received them on her birthday! I even spoke to customer service the day before making sure that it would in fact be delivered May 27 as I had specifically requested. But it was delivered yesterday. I am disappointed. My sister has a drive by honk and wave just for my nieces birthday due to covid19 and it would have been perfect for the courier to have delivered the balloon the same day. Disappointed.

I ordered online to curbside pick-up some balloons. They havent called or emailed me to notify if my order is ready. I called several times to inquire about the balloons, which I need asap, and they hanged on me every single time without even saying something. This store shouldnt operate, terrible customer service.

They had very good customer service but when it came to my balloons, they popped the last one they had... Couldve been more careful

This is the spot to go to for a party or any occasion your planning on having because they have everything you need all in one store decorations, costumes, accessories, balloons and maybe even more things I cant even name. But totally worth going if youre in a rush and have no where else to go this spot here will have it all for sure.

Its a party city pretty much exactly like all the other party city stores Ive been to before. Its a bit expensive like all party city stores but they have everything Ive ever needed conveniently in one place. You can save yourself some money by buying some of the exact same items party city sells at the 99 cent store such as plain pink and purple plates (for a six year olds shimmer and shine birthday party) but if you want actual shimmer and shine (or whatever cartoon theme) then yeah party city is the place to go and they actually have banners and candles and whatnot.

If you need balloons take your time, because not too many employees working now

Came here for the first time and I was surprised by the amount of people and the costume that they were selling. It was neat and weird at the same time in how it worked in order to buy or looked for a costume at this place. The pricing was a bit steep for a costume and props, but I guess it was all for fun. I wish it was more organized though.

I liked it not a lot of things kind of bland but still good. Nothing really bad.

Some things are pricey and have 2 few items in packet, but overall if you just go with one of their themes youll find almost everything you need

Not really a curbside pick up. The phone tree didnt work and when you pressed 0 it directed you back to main menu. Went inside and they didnt have my order ready. 🤦‍♀️

Couldnt return a defective Part City item at the local Party City. Makes no sense why I had to drive 20 miles for a refund. When I had the receipt and the defect was not my fault.

They seem to be focused on selling furniture, the shelves are very depleted.

Trying to pick up some backdrops for a grad party and used curbside pickup, they won’t even pick up the phone and the doors are locked.

So unorganized. They made it feel like this was their first time selling Halloween stuff. The costume was so unorganized that you did not know what was sold out until you walked to the employee to ask for it. The warehouse workers kept bringing out the wrong costumes that were ordered. And their fitting rooms were a huge joke.

I went yesterday in the night to buy my kids costumes and there was only 4 employees working and there was no help at all on the costumes section, I had to wait like 30 minutes for an employee to help me plus they had a terrible attitude specially the cashier she was rude, when I asked her if she can call someone to help me for costumes she gave me her attitude and was very rude. I dont recommend anyone going there really bad service. I Will not go back to that store

Asked cashiers to use the restroom. Cashiers called for help and no one open the doors for me geeze I was on the road four 2 hours and still needed to wait to get balloons blown up!!!

Went here in a time crunch to try to buy number balloons at the last minute and it was a nightmare. The stores layout is very difficult to navigate & once I found the balloons they were out of the number one. I tried to pick up a few other items like regular birthday candles which I never did find and plates but the line ended up being so long and the tellers were slow and inefficient that I ended up just leaving them and going to the Ralphs next door and finding everything that I needed.

Its a lot bigger and has more variety than other party citys I have gone to. It is pretty clean and staff was very helpful some stuff are over priced some arent just depends on what you are looking for but its a lot nicer than others I have been to

Not the best staff Ive been here a few times and the staff is usally rude and un organized. There dose not seem to be any structure or organization with the staff. I have seen a couple okay workers but its not the best place.

They have a great selection of items including costumes, party decorations, party supplies, balloons, etc. The couple times Ive been there the staff was not very helpful and seemed annoyed if you asked for help. Thats the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Turns out you cant throw a party in the facilities, what kind of Party City doesnt accepts parties?We were escorted out, completely ruining my daughters birthday for the second year in a row.

Employees are unorganized all they do is talk, they dont put effort in their work even though its not that hard the environment is alive due to the colors and decorations but the employees...I have no idea why they are working there and how they even got the job in the first place. I will gladly do their job 2x better

Dont like the Alhambra party city, I prefer the Glendale one on Los Feliz .

Service is not great! Was in line for 10 mins because staff was talking behind the counter and didnt even bother to let me know they see me and they will be right with me! When the lady finally helped us she continued talking to her coworker about her weekend!

Everything now over priced only time it worth shopping during Valentines Day when merchandise gets cheap. Balloons are always overfilled and chances of them pooping is 99% The employees are “generally” nice but it usually that comes and goes.
