One of the coolest comic book stores Ive been, and the staff gives good vibes and they were super helpful on our search. The prices are crazy, they have a huge sección of $1 each. They have new comics for your collection and thats a huge plus. I’ve could stay searching there all day long..

Look for: A solid comic book store run by honest people that love what they do.They gave me a fair amount of cash for my Star Wars comics. I have no complaints and they helped me out in tough times. Regardless of whether buyers make crazy profits or not, its hard to avoid buyers that play games and here the guys are serious and professional. No games here!This place is mom and pop as it can get. No greedy and obnoxious comic book geeks here!

Great place. They have a huge selection. If you can’t find it somewhere else they probably have it here. Prices are good and they don’t hover around and ask if you need help.

The dollar bins had some insanely good stuff and they have great stock of the current releases!

Great little hole in the wall. Great variety of comics, both new and older.

Great place to buy comic and posters. Cashier knows alot and was able to answear some questions I had. This place also carries the fortnite comic book.

Love these Guys! Great selection of New Stuff Weekly. Info on Board is updated on whats coming out; and Graphic Novel Collection is super thorough, especially DC and Marvel. Art collection is pretty good too. Always a fun visit.

Awesome place to shop for comics both new and old, Tom is a great guy, and is very knowledgeable and friendly when it comes to comic books and such, I recommend this place if youre into comics and science fiction, this is a great store, a lot of great variety and the prices are reasonable.

Needed to get a pull list. They have a three issue minimum. Got it set up quick.

Good shop with a nice selection. On ncbd get here early or the popular books will sell out. You could also call them to start a pull list to not miss out on your weekly titles.There is a good variety of silver age books at half off sticker price. Theres a few display cases and the wall behind the register with their high dollar books. They have good books but they are overpriced.

Im giving the Alhambra Comic Cellar 5 stars over its sister store in Monrovia for one reason alone: Selection!!! Both stores have much of the same things in stock and the staff rotate stores it seems, so not much is different. The difference lies in the size of this shop, and the selection of back issues. Once again I feel they picked a great location as its right on Main Street next to a ton of other shops and restaurants. I would come here more often if it was closer to my home.

Big selection of comics here. But while perusing the shelves-which are stocked very well- it was eerily quiet. No chatter from other customers because the shop was empty. No music playing in the background. No greet when we came through the door. I only noticed the lone employee lounging behind the counter before leaving. Selection is great, prices Im not so sure about... but I totally felt unwelcomed there.

Cool little place that is perfect to explore waiting for dinner at one of the many restaurants on the street or even post dinner walk. Cheap comics but I wish there is a larger DC collection because all I see is marvel...marvel...marvel. Funko dolls are also sold here.

I was pleasantly surprised to find everything I was looking for dropping by while on a business trip. Tom was super helpful and friendly. The selection was diverse and comprehensive. Could not have asked for more out of a local shop. Will be stopping in again if Im ever in town again.

By far my favorite place to shop comics in the LA area. Always up to date and new comics are always cover price. There are older/rarer varieties of comics for the collectors out there, but go for a bit more, obviously. There is a special section towards the back of the store where you find Silver Age comics at a discounted price. I got my Flash #124 (1961) from these boxes. They also have a small section for manga and a wall full of other nerdy/artistic books. By this wall of books there is a section full of Funko Pop! doll section along with other knickknacks.Tom is usually at the register when I go. Hes very knowledgeable and a great guy to talk to. If you have any questions dont be intimidated to ask him for help. I definitely recommend this location for new and veteran comic lovers, alike!

I absolutely love this place. I am not a comic collector but I went with friends who are into comics and they were distracted for a while. I on the other hand spent the most time in front of the Funko Pop wall. This store has by far the most comprehensive collection of pops I have ever seen. There were holiday and so many pops I never knew existed. They were very organized which I appreciated and there were no doubles on the wall. I would guess a good 300 or so? Now I wish I had counted.I had to exercise so much restraint and not buy them all!!!! I did buy a little Goose keychain from captain marvel. There was also a cardboard cut out of Han Solo...that I was tempted by as well. There were also tons of anime art collection books.I definitely will return if I am in the area. I also enjoyed talking to the guy up front. (He may have been the owner but I dont know for sure.) We talked Disneyland and he showed me the a couple pics he took with celebrities.

A friend of mine showed me this place while we were hanging around the area. I really liked it. Nice store, clean, organized. Lot of comics and art books and posters. Not too many toys or merch. The guy I talked to was very much into it. Very knowledgeable, very nice and patient.I dont know why people are complaining about it being expensive. I thought it was okay. I think people forget that little places like this do charge a bit more in some things cause its kind of like a mom and pop shop. Just speaking honestly, I know I could have gotten the stuff I got for cheaper online, but part of a comic shop like this is the experience, the chance to browse and the chance to talk to people.My only problem with the place is the lack of toys and the like.This place is also in a nice area. Couple bars and restaurants nearby. I plan on going back.

Kind bunch of guys work the store. They always feel approachable and always up to just talk shop. They even set up a pull list for me for trades which is a bit unconventional.

The place is small but the guy who was there was very helpful and friendly to all his customers, he even gave me a free poster for DCs Rebirth. Recommend this shop to any Comicbook lover.
