Called them about the tires they sell and they had a very good deal for me so I ended up going there to buy them and getting them installed.
I spend alot of money at Wal-Mart but when your disabled and park close to the doors to get your battery and have the that man that works at the Auto Dept come out and start yelling at you to move your vehicle instead of asking that man was lucky to be at work cause I felt like taking him over my knee and spank that man, Wal-Mart your workers need people skills

Great staff, helped me when I really needed it. A couple months ago, I was halfway through a 6 hour drive to a wedding when my tire blew. I came here for a replacement and was initially told the wait time would be 2 hours. I panicked, nervous I wouldn’t be able to make the wedding and broke down a bit in the waiting area. The staff was very sympathetic and ended up finishing the job in about 45 minutes, and I was able to make it on time to the event. Though I haven’t been to Alice since, it still sticks out as as an amazing customer experience to this day.
I actually called this auto center before I made the trip. I live in Orange Grove that is a 25 min drive . The employee that answered the phone was Ericka and she also attended me at the Auto Center once I arrived. I had a battery w/ 5 yr warranty a 3yr free replacement and 2 yr pro rate . I purchased back in 2018 here we are 2020 and I could not find my receipt .I told Ericka I was desperate need of a battery replacement for my VW Routan left me stranded every time I shut off the engine. I was almost in tears when the mechanics told me that my battery was dead and put my battery back in the car and handed me keys and said I would need to return another day when they had time because their next test to see if it held a charge was going to take some time, time they didnt have because they were closing. I explained to them it will not hold a charge I know because I had tried, several times, even a trickle charge and didnt work. They were more concerned with leaving home exactly at 6pm when they close.. I had tears in my eyes I was so frustrated. Luckily Ericka the employee that told me to come in so they could look at the battery decided to stay longer and help me, she got the battery out of the car this is the 2nd time and put it on their diagnostic tool She asked if had time to get me a confirmation whether it held a charge or NOT, I said absolutely knowing it wouldnt and AFTER 30 MIN SHE CAME BACK WITH THE CONFIRMATION I NEEDED for WALMART TO HONOR ME A FREE replacement .SHE WAS A LIFE SAVER. SHE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND DIDNT APPEAR BOTHERED at all THAT SHE was still at work JUST TO SATISFY A CUSTOMER. SHE HANDED ME A BRAND NEW Maxxx Ever Ready 800CA and 1000CC which was the same as my old one. I was so happy with that outcome, it was quite different than what I expected after being handed back my keys from the mechanic . Thank you Ericka, your A-1 in my book and definitely deserve some R&R for going over and beyond in customer service!
The manager Sunday was understaffed in the auto center in Alice tex he helped change oil checked out groceries all around nice guys. Oil field workers he will do what he can to get you in and out. Pipe Line worker
