Store has alot there all the time people friendly

Im from Ohio working on a project in Aliquippa.Needed supplies to complete a project. C & I True Value had everything i needed. And we all know time is money. They were very helpful and they took the time to help me get all the items on my list from different parts of the store.I was out of there in less time than it took me to park my vehicle. Well stocked with seasonal items!

The absolutely BEST hardware store. Went in for two specialty nuts and found exactly what I needed without buying a huge box like happens at Lowes, Home Depot & many other bigger stores. Friendly service too!

Walked up to the register lady behind the counter is not wearing a mask talking to someone else about the owner “who doesn’t know how to do all the jobs in the store.” The man she is talking to has his mask around his neck and then they begin to talk about how government workers don’t know how to do their jobs either and waste money.......I’m a federal employee standing in front of them being mocked when I waited until after work to come support a local business instead of going to a big box store. Next time I’ll go to Lowe’s where they don’t mind sticking to state laws and keeping their opinions to themselves.

Great selection of hardware and helpful staff

Although I live closer to the big box stores, Lowes & Home Depot in Robinson, I find myself going to Hopewell for most of my needs. Ive never had a problem with any of their associates. They do seem to fulfill my needs much quicker than the big box stores. I take my back pack leaf blower and other garden tools there for repair and they always do a great job. Ive rented garden tools & construction tools from them, too, at fair prices.One thing that I find a little annoying is the wait is so very long to repair my item but that proves that many people rely on C & I to have the item repaired correctly. The repair shop seems to be overwhelmed at best. The repair cost is reasonable. I much prefer to shop at the little mom n pop stores because I feel that the service I receive is more personable and I dont have to search forever to find an employee when I cant find an item. Ill continue to be a repeat customer and have been for many, many years.

I took my lawnmower back to be worked on, I would have taken the carb apart myself and cleaned the floats. My brother went to pick up the mower and when he arrived the cost was 13 dollars, he thought ok well he bought this here less than a year ago so that makes sense, that price was changed right in front of him. The woman cashing him out says well that isnt right. She then proceeded to scratch that amount out and changed it to 46. I called to see why the price changes and the guy I am speaking to starts lying about jet ports and they make these out of plastic so 30 minutes of labor.....yeah that is the right price. I will never take anything to them for repairs ever again and I will do it myself.

The employees are helpful, they know their store. If purchases are heavy they will take them to your car and load your items into your car.

Did not find everything I wanted. No one was in lawn and garden.

Bad if i could give a 0 i would. I took a brand new troy built blower that hadnt work right sense i first used it. i bought it at the Coraopolis hardware and took it back right away after a couple visits they evaluated it as bad and told me to take it to C&I they are troy built support. Not hearing from C&I I called troy built and they stated that C&I never gave them the info so the clam was denied. i have talk to Pete 5 time he always says he has to find the paper work and he will take care of me. This has been going on more than 8 months. the blower cost over $200 my family cant afford to blow off because C&I wont do their job!!!

On hold for over 20 min... Then when i call back i get hung up on... Real classy girl

Nice clean store. Very respectful worker and friendly. I like the idea they hire people in highschool and college looking for jobs. Good prices sometimes better then the big box stores

Stopped in for Japanese beetle traps. They were out. I purchased Devin dust. Store has some nice gardening supplies and flags. I purchased 2 pots for planting outdoor flowers. Good selection

Alams hardware is in the same neighborhood and has a better selection and WAY better customer service all around. Based on your interactions with everyone in the C and I (especially those wearing kilts to work) you’d swear you were at your in-laws for aunt Ruth’s 80th. They present a “ could not care less about your question” vibe to everyone. BTW ALAMS will let you use the bathroom as well. When I asked the very pleasant woman behind the counter if there was a bathroom I could use—“ we don’t really want customers using the bathroom”. Go to Alams don’t waste you time or money at this hardware store.

A well stocked hardware store. Personnel friendly, but it was hard to find someone who knew where to find what I was looking for.

There is a decent inventory for a quick run to the store. There is plenty of staff to help you find what you are looking for in additon, they are friendly and knowledgeable.

Not the cheapest but if I have a question they always have the answer and know what I need and how to fix it. Very knowledge staff that know what they are talking about.
