Had an absolutely amazing experience with Debo Moving and Storage! They were very professional and extremely kind! There was absolutely no damage done to our homes or our items. Leon was perfectly on time and we feel they all went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant experience. I’d highly recommend them not only for the quality of work but also how friendly they were!

Every move within the county over the years whether to a new house or business they have been the only movers we have used.. They always go out of their way to give top notch service. I moved across the country and chose Debo based on good reviews. My experience has me wondering why anybody would work with these guys. Im in Minnesota three weeks after we loaded, all my familys belongings are in a warehouse with no driver assigned to move them, and I cant get anyone at Debo to take any sort of action to get our stuff to us. Ive got two little kids with no beds, and I cant even get a call back from the people at Debo when they tell me they will. Please do yourself a favor and avoid these guys at all costs.

I was extremely disappointed by my recent move with Debo Moving. While the office staff was courteous and helpful, the movers were lazy, sloppy, and careless. Im unpacking boxes two weeks after my move and finding numerous broken items. While the movers were working, I heard no small amount of grumbling and cursing. Not the kind of experience I paid $197 per hour for. I would strong recommend using a different moving service.

Had a great experience from start to finish. They were very responsive getting me a quote and staying in touch as it got closer to the move. The movers were on time, efficient, and friendly doing a job that can be very frustrating. They took care of every piece and put it exactly where it should go making things so much easier to get settled in the new place. I hope to not move again but if I do I would definitely use Debo.

Everyone at Debo was kind and as flexible as possible when details of my move were changing last minute. The moving team was efficient and respectful. I appreciated that they took the time to do a video call to see what all the move would entail. Highly recommend this company!

Nothing was damaged in the move and the price was excellent. We compared their bid to another company and it was 1/2 the price. Great experience!

We had Debo move us in mid August of this year. They moved us out of one place in the morning and into another place in the afternoon. While moving out of our house, the movers damaged a doorframe and a wall. We were upset because we wanted the house to be immaculate when our buyers moved in. The manager of the crew said that he had called it in and someone would be in touch to make arrangements to fix those things. When the movers were moving into our new place they damaged a window frame and the walls and ceilings in several places in the stairwells and hallways. Additionally, they damaged our king bed, our desk, and a bedroom dresser. I have moved 4 times in the last 20 years and have never had as many incidents. Unfortunately, after a 10 hour day of 95 degree heat when we had to sign off on the move and the movers wanted to get out of there, we did not notice all of the damage. Afterwards, I reached out to Debo and they told me to file claims. I filled out all of the paperwork and waited. And waited. Finally Claudette, the owner of the company, called me and was only willing to pay for the damaged furniture. In our conversation, I found out that she had not been told about the damage at the house we left, nor was she aware of how the entire day had transpired. She said she would reimburse us based off of the extremely disappointing execution of the move. I told her our painter was coming out and once we had the quote from him once he saw the damages in person, I would send that quote. She said she would wait to send the check with the total amount. I sent our quote and have heard nothing back from her or the company. Ive contacted Debo twice since then to no avail. We picked Debo because of the good ratings we saw and after I spoke to Claudette, I really believed she was going to do the right thing. I would not use or recommend this company.Added 9/28/20: After this review was posted, Alex from Debo did respond and within 3 days we had received a check for the damages. We appreciate that Claudette and her team did the right thing. Its unfortunate that this wasnt taken care of in a more responsive manner initially. If that had been the case, we would not have given such a bad review initially. Again, we appreciate Alex finally taking care of this matter for us.

I recently hired Debo Moving and Storage to move my mother-in-law from her home into a condo. Along with her moving out, I also contracted them to move our very old, upright, oak piano from our home to her house’s basement due to the fact that our daughter is buying her house. My mother-in-law’s move was easy and didn’t involve a lot, but that wasn’t the case with the challenge of the piano. The four gentlemen doing the work were amazing!! The piano needed to go into the basement. The door into the basement was just barely large enough for the piano and the 3 steps down aren’t all the same size. I felt the task we asked them to do was impossible. They met this challenge with a determined attitude. With a great deal of brainstorming and a couple unsuccessful attempts, they accomplished the task. They never gave up and did the work with smiles the whole time. Such great teamwork!!I highly recommend Debo for anyone looking into a moving company. The entire process, from scheduling over the phone, in-house assessment, actual move and follow up phone call, was pleasant and seamless.

Debo Movers are the biggest crooks you could ever involve yourself with!Movers came and were extremely rude when unloading items at location. Were loud and yelling inside residence. Movers had poor hygiene.Broke foot off of irreplaceable antique bookcase. After insurance was purchased prior to move, no one in company, including Debo owners wanted to cooperate or honor insurance. They wanted to fix item when insurance clearly stated replacement!!! Talked to owner on phone and she was very smug about ordeal! SHADY!Misleading and not careful with items at all! Do yourself a favor - AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

I can not say enough about how happy and pleased we are with Debo Moving. Not one piece of furniture was damaged while in their storage facility and nothing was damaged on day of delivery. My house is brand new and they took the time to put covers on the floor and railings. All the guys working were very friendly and easy to talk with. Before they left my house they checked everything and made sure there wasn’t anything else they could do for us. Excellent people. If moving get Debo. The best.

They helped my mom move and they did an amazing job. The guys were so nice and respectful. They treated their furniture like it was there own. It was so nice to have good movers with a great additude.

I used this company when moving across country from Pennsylvania to Arizona - it was something of a last minute move (I only had about 2 weeks of notice) and despite the shorter time frame, they worked with me to get everything scheduled and taken care of. I did the vast majority of my packing myself, but on the day of the gentlemen who were loading the truck were very gracious and helpful in getting some of my last minute items broken down and stored away (bed frame and dresser, namely.) After arriving in Arizona they arrived soon after and all of my stuff was just as I had departed with - no damage, no dings, no scratches. Granted I didnt have a lot of stuff (single bed/bath apartment worth) but I would recommend their services to anyone, whether a cross country move like mine or even just across town. Thank you so much for everything and getting everything home in one piece!

We have used Debo several times in the past and always have a great experience. Our last move was no exception and it went beautifully. They are competitively priced, however the biggest impact for us was the personal service and level of professionalism we received in every aspect of the move. This was a long distance move and we were impressed they use their own driver from the local Beaver County area. We felt like we received white glove treatment and highly recommend for local or long distance moving!

Two Men & A Truck wanted over $900 to move my 2 bedroom apt 6 blocks so I called Debo. They were a bit more than half of that price, gave me an accurate in-home estimate, I had no weird hidden fees, and they didnt take longer than they had estimated (but that may have been cause I was super prepared). The guys were really friendly and fast and took good care with my more important items.

We used Debo Moving and storage to do a local move in Pittsburgh (about 15 miles) and overall we were very pleased with their service. They brought a 3 person team and quoted us for 6.5 hours to move everything. They actually only took a little over 3 hours to complete it and nothing was broken, scratched, or damaged. They never even bumped a wall in either place and we would use them again in a second. The only reason that they are not a 5 star rating is we had a treadmill that we wanted to have moved along with everything else that we were told wouldnt be a problem. When the movers showed up they didnt want to risk taking it apart because they didnt have the expertise and we would have to sign a waiver in case of damage. Since our treadmill is new and rather expensive we really didnt want to risk that and figured we would just call Dicks Sports to move it since they installed it. Well after the move was completed we received a call from the person who gave us the initial quote and he said that they have a third party business for moving treadmills that would be about $250 to move the treadmill alone and he wasnt sure if the movers that came out would be able to disassemble/move it or not. So needless to say that was a more than a little frustrating that they would want that much to move an item that we were assuming would be moved with the rest of our stuff. Other than the treadmill issue they are highly recommended. Their moving team was a bunch of young guys that worked as hard/fast/efficient as you could ever ask for and were polite, courteous, and very careful with our stuff.

Had a 72 TV delivered today. I got a courtesy call and they were very prompt within the time frame that they stated. Great sense of humor from both gentlemen and even took the time to talk to my 3 year old. If I ever need to move I will use this company and I will even request to have the same movers. Thank you!!

Debo Moving did a great job. We moved from Sewickley to our new home in Kentucky and Debo handled everything with professionalism and care.They gave us a competitive estimate in the beginning and the final bill was exactly that. Dale Brelloch was really great. He supervised the packing, loading. drove the truck to Kentucky, and supervised the unloading. The truck arrived on time and the crew was friendly and helpful.I would certainly recommend them for anyone planning a move.

The day after our move I did a paper evaluation of Debo’s move for us and sent it in to them; I gave relatively high marks in spite of two small mishaps with our belongings. Later that same week I found we had a large green Xmas bin missing. I called and was told by Alex that the truck was checked after the move and nothing was left on it. I then called the new couple who had just moved into our former home. They checked and nothing like that was left at the house. I also did cleaning the same day after the move and it was not there, nor it was not among the items we moved ourselves. This was a three mile move how does a 4’x2’ Christmas tree bin go missing? It had to go somewhere. This had some very special items in it and will not be able to be replaced. Our stuff was not of great value in terms of dollars but it did hold sentiment for us. I have read all the moving company legalese…essentially they are responsible for nothing unless you buy the high priced insurance. Otherwise it is $.60 a pound if something is lost or broken (that is not meant to be a joke). And you should stand outside the moving truck with a clipboard crossing off things as they are unloaded—obviously those lawyers have never had to do anything on their own in a short amount of time. If the small furniture company in Monaca, PA was still doing residential moves we would have gone with them. I am revising my rating to a “2” because it is now only our word against theirs and only because we really liked the two young assistants—or it would be a 1. Let the movee beware.

I had to move quickly and Debo had helped me get out of my house and in to my new one with no problems. They took everything I needed and I didnt have any real issues with them. Everything was put where it needed to be and after they left everything I had taken was accounted for. I would suggest them to anyone looking to move.

They were over booked the day of my move & it was hot out. They kept dropping my boxes causing major damage. They were bashing into walls futher damaging my furnuture. Super pricey ... paying by the hour when the guys are dragging is ridiculous. Will never use them again.

I wish I could rate them with negative stars. This company is, by far, the worst we have ever used. We are a military family and have experience in this department, trust me, DO NOT USE THEM!!!Here is a rundown of my experience:1. They came on a Friday and did some packing. (We have a 5 bedroom, 2500 square foot home.)2.They came back on Monday did a bit more, but ran out of boxes! Yes, a moving company ran out of boxes. We bought boxes and they used what we had. So, after using all of their boxes and ours, they told us they were coming back on Tuesday to finish packing. However, they never showed up or called, for that matter.3. Wednesday, when the crew came to move all of the stuff, they were shocked to find out the packing was not completed. They finished the packing, but ran out of the numbered stickers. My husband had to go out and buy green stickers to mark which ones were coming to the house and which were going to storage. Unbelievable, right?!4. Just when we thought it was over and we could just move on, it is time for our belongings to arrive. They call us at the gate and tell us that they only have 2 movers as the third had a criminal record or warrant, something criminal that prevented him from even TRYING to get on the base. Im not making this stuff up!!!5. So, my husband is helping a bit and they even requested my children help them. They ONLY put together one bunkbed and two twin beds.6. They left EVERY SINGLE BOX in the downstairs dining area for us to move. They did not put together the bed in the master bedroom because somewhere in the process they lost one of the legs.7. I look at all of our belongings and I was like, Where is the rest of it? We had not one single dresser here, no dishes or utensils, some clothes made it, and one kid had no clothes make it.8. When asked about it, they said that everything else was Vaulted in storage and if I was lucky, I could call Monday morning to try to get some of our things before they lock it up. (At our own expense and effort, BTW!!!)Due to this aweful experience, we now have spent quite a bit of money just to be able to run our house at a minimum, because the rest is locked up in storage for 90 days. Now, Im worried that all of my belongings didnt even make it to storage.Ill give the one star, because I am forced to, to Tommy who recognized what a horrible job they did, but was quite a pleasant man. BOOOO Debo moving!!!

STAY AWAY:The move was okay. They were punctual. Movers were friendly and moved quickly. They were not the cheapest quote I received but I had used them many times before so I was comfortable using them. Team leaders were very thorough and generally were quick moving. The guys were so nice, in fact, that I let them take several items for doing such a great job. The one needed a crib mattress and the other needed a stand up bar and stools. I even gave one of them a TV. They really were that helpful and I honestly didnt need the items and I asked them if any of them could use the items and they took me up on it.I did notice after a few weeks that some of my things were damaged. I had a platform bed that was destroyed, a chest of drawers that was damaged beyond repair, several boxes had broken items that leaked onto other items and I had to throw them out. I had a shelf that is missing pins for the shelves themselves, so its ruined. My riding mower needed work to get it working and it was in perfect working order when they packed it up. Not a big deal. There were several dings on the wall and the carpet on the steps was stained and needed steam cleaned from one of the movers boots but Im fairly easy going. I was just glad to get the stuff back.I paid this company over $4000 for moving and storage and I paid them at the close of moving me in in accordance to my bill.I received a phone call from the company months later stating I owed them another $500. It was allegedly a company error with their billing department. When I returned the phone call to discuss this, I have never experienced a costumer service person/owner as rude as Claudette in my entire life with such contempt for the customer.I have used Debo many times before. My business has used Debo and its staff to move new furniture into my building (nursing home) several times. I will NEVER use DEBO Moving and Storage again knowing the kind of people that own and operate it. I am not an unreasonable person as I think most of the DEBO staff who have come into contact with me have found out. However, the experience I had with the owner of the company I will never forget. If the owner has that kind of contempt for the customer, I feel sorry for those that work there.

RUN FAR AWAY FROM DEBO !!!!! I had THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AWFUL local move !!!!! This is day 12 since one of the movers did not ask to use a non functioning Pittsburgh Potty in my basement. He grabbed THE LAST REMAINING ROLL OF TP FROM THE MAIN BATHROOM. I had to use the bathroom at the GAS STATION DOWN THE ROAD, WHEN I FOUND POOOOO FLOATING IN MY BASEMENT !!!!!! They punctured a whole in my AeroBed that I needed to sleep on & took off with the ONLY REMOTE CONTROL I HAD FOR MY TV. SOOOOOOO THIS IS DAY 12 ........ NO BED - NO REMOTE (IM ONLY 5 MINUTES FROM THEIR OFFICE - TOO MUCH EFFORT TO DROP IT OFF ???????) NO TV - NO CLAIM FORM AS PROMISED .WAITING FOR RESPONSE FROM CLAUDETTE DEBO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call me please 3rd request - thank you.
