Let me preface this by saying I am a brewer and work in a brewery so I’m aware of current pricing on product, mine and the competition.Walked out with my beer and felt i had over paid, when I got home I went online to check prices and I paid aprox 11 dollars more than the beer was worth on the high end of the scale. This was the last straw for me I’ve experienced product out of date by a year higher prices etc. won’t be going back. Really makes me wish my old bottle shop was still around.

Top Shelf is fantastic, I’ve been shopping there for years. I’ve purchased wine, vodka, the requisite White Claw, and whisky from them.I’d been asking them about Blue Label for years, always on the fence, and they ordered the Year of the Pig Limited Edition of Blue Label with me in mind, so I bought that today. Their recommendations and customer service are always exceptional.

Its my opinion that Top Shelf Liquor has one of the best alcohol selections in the Downriver area. Their prices are competitive and the sheer variety of cold beer can be overwhelming. However, there is friendly and knowledgeable staff on hand to help with any questions you may have. My only complaint is, during this pandemic, it would have been nice to see the staff wearing masks if not for themselves at least for the customers.

Went in today for the first time to see the whisky and bourbon they have. Let me try one of the store picks they had available. First liquor store Ive been to that offered to let me try before I buy. Discussed the flavor profile I was looking for and he told me to go check at Allen Park Market. Went there and picked up a bottle I had been looking for. Definetly have a new customer. Super impressed with the customer service and selection.

Stopped into Top Shelf Liquor today. Visiting from Cincinnati and these guys made my weekend. Looking for a newly released beer and they had it. Huge selection of beer, wine and spirits. Will definitely make this a stop when Im through Allen Park next time. Thanks!

Large collection of whiskeies, shop is clean and well arranged. All prices are labeled.I couldnt find some international brand whiskies, yet, lot of collection out there to choose from.Service was fast and quick, additional parking at rear side of the building.

I was a fan of this store until the last few times I shopped here. The owners and employees are not taking any measures of safe covid practices. Nobody wears masks and they are not requiring anyone that enters to. As a nurse who treats covid patients on a regular basses. Im no longer shopping here. If your not a part of the solution then your part of the problem.

Rating is for service and liquor/beer/wine selection only. Nearly every square inch of shelf is devoted to booze. This is the place to find hard to find drinks. If they dont have it, you probably wont find it anywhere downriver.The only downside is that their selection of other items is poor, so dont count on 1 stop shopping if you need non alcoholic items.

They have a good selection but I will not be back given not one employee (or customer besides myself) was wearing the required mask or was practicing any kind of distancing. The AP police didnt seem to care, but Ill take my business elsewhere.

Great advice on what to buy .

Stopped here on several occasions. One time I asked for a beer that they didnt carry. Manager said Ill have a case in here on Tuesday. True to his word he had it there. I bought it.. went back another time and bought more. He ordered more and it was sold by the time I got there. He apologized and ordered even more. Great service! I remain faithful and only go here for my Spiritual needs.

Broad selection of beer, wines, and liquor. They span all price/quality points, so you can find something rare/special, or something more common that you like... Ive never left this store without a purchase. Also, the staff are pretty good at helping you find what youre looking for (even of you dont know what you are looking for 🙂 ).
