This is the best meat market around. I have been a lifetime customer. Never had a bad or tough piece of meat from here ever.

Despite stating masks are required on their Google page, neither of the staff assisting customers was wearing one, and only one other customer was wearing one. I did one circuit around the store and walked out. I wont be back if and until the virus is gone. JNS lost a customer today, which is a shame because their meat is better than any grocery store.

People very friendly. Their meat is a little more expensive. However youd be hard pressed to find better qualityTheir subs are fresh and delicious. Everything is high quality.😍😍😍

Meat is always fresh..is it more expensive than Kroger Walmart and Meijer? Yes..so go there if you want that price...get what you pay for. Love JNS..you guys are great!

Ive been going there for 30 plus years. The people are nice and their meat is superb. They also stand behind their products.

They have a person who worked through the pandemic, probably under the covid money and didn’t pay her rent, they probably got government funding and kept that money her name is Kristie Panich thought you should know and left probably two pounds if not more of there products in the fridge that I had to throw out😞

JNS is always the place to go to when you need/want FRESH, QUALITY meats. Prices are fair and reasonable and they have a small amount of fresh veggies to go along with your meal. Highly recommend and will always be back.

I DO NOT recommend this place AT ALL! I was cursed at when I called to complain. Apparently they dont like being critiqued. I did NOT pay 150 to get cuts back where the tallow is still completely on the meat and the wounded area was not cleaned. Not to mention I was charged for boneless when it clearly had bones in it. I wanted to do a shoulder mount but they charged me for a full body hide. For what? Im doing a shoulder mount! You minus will have just broken the deer into 5 pieces and given it back to me. Just because of the quality and total disrespect I want ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with this place and will be spreading those same words like the plague!!!Thanks for ruining my hunt and my time. -J

We just tried JNS for the first time this past memorial day. The steaks and ribs we bought were very tasty and of high quality. My wifes digestive system doesnt handle cheap or chemical loaded beef ... not so here! The staff made the purchasing easy and were very friendly even in these unique circumstances. They are my new meat supplier! I cant wait until their bundles are available again!!

Pros:-Locally owned family business.-Good selection of lunch meats.-Some of the staff are helpful.-Decent prices on most items.Cons:-Their refrigeration units dont function properly so some of the meats are stored at near room temp (the ones containing salami/bacon especially). Other units are packed with ice on top of the meats to keep them cool but the ice quickly melts causing a slurry of water/meat juice inside the unit.-As a result of the refrigeration issue, their butchered meats go bad very quickly (sometimes within a day or less). When I mentioned this to them, it fell on deaf ears. So if you get meat from them, make sure it smells okay and then cook or freeze it on the same day.-If you pay with a credit/debit card, they straight up ask you for your pin number instead of having the machine on the counter within reach. It just feels awkward and unsecure.

Top quality meats! Helpful and friendly employees. Your family will never be disapointed in dinner made with meats from JNS.

Excellent deer processers. They also do a great job of packaging and labeling the venison. Good staff and ownership.

J&S is a excellent place to shop they have a great line of products there meat is the best around and the ladies are wonderful help great all the way around i tell all my friends and family to go there if u want great meat thats the spot if I could give u a 10 I would keep up the great work

I buy all my meats at J&S. Best baby back Ribs around !!! Kilbasas and Pork Chops !!! And deer hunter sausages !!! I smoke all my own meats but buy them at J&S !!

Best beef and chicken kabobs! Big pieces of marinated chicken/beef! Ive been eating these kabobs since I was little and now Im sharing them with my family! A little pricey for the kabobs, but worth every penny! Great customer service also!

I am in a Wellchir and I wanted to go in but I could not go in I am so upset my Wellchir could not get in the door way so I could not buy anything and I think that its bad when I cant get in the door to see anything I wish they would let me get in. to buy some meet I would love to go back 😢

Started going there in the early 80s. Moved away, then moved back 8 years later.I was overjoyed to find them still operating. Now 20+ years later Im still buying my meat exclusively from JNS. I never have had a bad experience of any kind and everyone there is helpful and friendly. Oh,... they also have the nicest fresh garlic in town. I have a friend whom makes a 40 mile round trip weekly to buy his meat there, so would I.

Place was recommended to me a few years ago so I tried it.. I wasnt impressed. Prices were decent on pork packages if you want a bundle of mostly chops, and maybe some hot dogs. Ordered some lunch meat and a few steaks... adequate, at best. Got rid of the friend who recommended this marginal place. I dont need those kinds of friends. Trentwood in Allen Park or Joyview Meats in Redford are far better and worth the drive. Or downtown Detroit- Eastern Market and Alcamos in Dearborn.
