I escorted my sister to purchased a refrigerator at Sears on 2019 and our sales rep was Henri Emmanuel and he is experienced, focused, engaged and transparent. On 2021 My dad and I just went to American Freight to purchased a refrigerator and our salesperson again is Henri Emmanuel what a coincidence and he made the whole experience very outstanding he went at the back of the store to get me the size of the refrigerator that I wanted. His knowledge of the fridges, options and approach to the buying process was spectacular. Would highly recommend Henri Emmanuel for your refrigerators buying needs.

The fridge that I bought was great. Unfortunately it ended up being too big that the door won’t open all the way because of the wall. They were able to fix my issue by replacing it with a better fridge! Originally I thought American Freight wasn’t going to help me but they went above and beyond. Thank you Josh!

I came into the store to look for a new bedroom set and as soon as I arrived associate Henri Emmanuel first greeted me and as he helped other customers he kept letting me know he would assist me when he finished with the other customers. Such unprofessional service. They made us wait an extra day because they broke the furniture the day they were supposed to bring it. The following day, they tell us what time but it arrives 3 hours late. And when they bring it into the apartment they tell us that we have to put it all together. They shouldve told us that at the store from the beginning. Never shopping here again.

Absolutely the poorest customer service I have ever received. We were ready to buy a dryer. We were in the store ( only customers in the store) for an hour, found the dryer we wanted and the employee just sat at his computer. Not once did he ask if we needed help. If you are ready to buy I would not recommend shop there. If I could give a zero star I would.I received a response from the store manager (Steven) the following day. He had Josh get in contact with me. We went into the store again today and Josh helped us. He was very helpful, polite, and apologetic. I would definitely recommend this store and make sure and ask for Josh.

Josh and Henry were great. I was a little nervous about the finance process and the EBO option though. My understanding is if you pay this off within101 days, you pay no interest. I hope this is true and I have not been mislead. Also my shipping address was incorrect, I pray Josh corrected this or there will be an issue I dont want. I would like for the district manager to confirm my delivery address for the products I purchased were corrected as I brought this to Josh attention before I left. So those are the things that made me nervous about this company.

Think twice on purchasing the warranty. I have a French door style LG refrigerator with a bottom freezer that I really like. The only problem is that the freezer door can easily pop open about 1 inch without you knowing because the slightest pressure will open the door. We believe this is because the freezer door isnt aligned well (the gasket is fully extended at the top while the bottom is fully compressed so, the freezer door isnt evenly installed). If you dont pay constant attention to the door and it remains open accidentally, frost develops and you get a lot of ice buildup. I explained this to the warranty company (FYI - a totally separate entity from American Freight) and they sent a person to inspect my freezer about 3 days later. He sees the ice-buildup, blasts it away with a steam gun, and tells us that He will order new rails for the fridge. When they arrive, just call up the warranty number again and schedule a time for me to come back and install them. We waited 3 weeks and no rails. I call up the warranty company and they tell me the ticket was closed - the technician left a note saying if the issue returns, order new rails for the unit. So, we waited 3 weeks for nothing based on a lie. The warranty company then tells me that it will be 9 days before the next technician can come look at my refrigerator. And heres the best part, he will not have the rails on him so, he is only showing up to give his opinion on the issue (which is new rails as suggested by the first technician in the notes that he left). Then the second technician will have to place the order for the rails which will probably take 1 week or longer. Then I will have to call and schedule with the warranty company again which will take another 10 days to get an available tech to come out to the house again. So the ticket I opened in early May is going to POSSIBLY be sorted out sometime in July. Just know this is the reality when they offer you the protection plan because the salesman will say, oh yeah if anything is wrong with the unit, well come out and fix it no problem.

Our Freezer stopped working today! We were about to lose all of our frozen food! I searched and called all the big box stores and could not find a replacement anywhere! Searched one last time for Freezer on google, found American Freight (used to be Sears Outlet). Hmmm, I used to like Sears a lot so I called American Freight. Josh answered the phone and I mentioned our emergency situation where food was going to go bad unless we got a Freezer delivered TODAY! ONE PHONE CALL is all you need! Josh confirmed my online order, found an available delivery service, and like magic, our new Frigidaire Freezer was delivered and plugged in when I arrived home! Unbelievable Awesome Service and a great price too! I was blown away by the incredible can do spirit, and care for my needs as a customer. Went for a fridge and they had it. Gave me a great deal as the one I wanted had a dent. I ended paying half price for $1600 fridge. Got the 3 year warranty though I wasn’t sure I wanted it until he said I could sell it back for full price within a year. The warranty is pretty inclusive, so can’t go wrong I guess. The people were really nice and were thorough in the sale and price. Tested some beds while we waited and found a few that were really nice and great price compared to my purple bed. Will definitely come here again.

I have received very poor customer service from this store and I would not recommend it to anyone-family, friends or enemies. I paid for Queen mattress only along with 2 twin box springs and mattress sets on 4th of July weekend. I went back to the store and paid for 2 twin frames which I forgot to purchase with the first sale. I noticed the receipt said back order on some items. I questioned that and was told by Henry, sales associates that all items would be delivered the same day. When my items were delivered on 6July, I only received the queen mattress and one twin mattress which I later discovered was actually a full mattress. The tag on the mattress was clearly labeled “full mattress”. I called the store back with the first delivery asking why I had not received all my items at the same time. I don’t usually get home til after 6pm as I work about 30 minutes from my home. So it was an inconvenience for me to try to be home by 6pm. I asked how I would be compensated for the inconvenience of having to deal with another delivery. Josh, sales associate said that I would receive my $120 delivery fee back within 3 business days which should have been Friday 9July but I have yet to receive it. I was also appalled that I was not informed that the items would only be delivered and not set up. My house has upstairs and I live alone yet the delivery guys said they only delivered and that they didn’t take items upstairs. They did feel sorry for me that I lived alone and took the items upstairs and I gave them a tip. Had I known all of this in advance I could have made a conscious decision to go with a store that did set up and delivery even if it cost more. After all I still paid more money to get the items set up. On Wednesday 7July the 2 twin mattress sets with frames were delivered. Once again I tipped delivery to take them upstairs. The full mattress that was delivered on the first delivery was not taken back because there was no room on the truck so delivery came back on Thursday 8 July to pick up the full mattress and assemble the frames and yet again I tipped them. Over the weekend a friend helped me put the twin mattress sets on the frame to which we discovered the box springs were XL Twin for a king bed. I also discovered that the twin frame was defective-at the head of the box springs one side of the box springs was flush with the frame but the other side was not as their was a gap and both frames were the same. I went back to the store on Sunday 11July to inform the sales associate who was Henry that the box springs didn’t fit and that the frames were defective. Nothing in the store is advertising as “seconds” so I didn’t expect the frames to be defective. So on today Tuesday 13July the delivery guys were supposed to come out and bring the correct size box springs and 2 new twin frames which were to be set up and if this did not work then my money was was supposed to be reimbursed. They were supposed to be here by 1pm originally. I called the store because I needed to reschedule for 12noon today but I have gotten no response from the store. I called yesterday 12July but my call went to voicemail. I left a message. I called this morning 13July at 10:30am and again the call went to voicemail. I left a message but I have received no call from the store. I did receive a call from the delivery guy Kenneth asking me what I needed. He was returning a call from last week. I asked him if he was bringing my items. He said that he was sick on Monday and not aware that a problem existed but that he would check when he gets back to the store. I feel that this company has inconvenienced me to the utmost and is holding my money hostage. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN regardless to their location. I have waited for them to rectify the problems but the problems have not been solved. They have an all sales final policy so I pray they are not trying to use that to not have to render good customer service. If it’s defective fix it or reimburse my money. I am continuing to call the store but no response. I’m being avoiding.

Went into this store yesterday. When we finally chased someone down to help us. He attempted to find what we needed at another store. Took my name and number and said he would call me back. Never heard from him again and I am not surprised because he wasn’t interested in helping us but went after a young female as she was walking in the door! Never wasting my time on that place ever!

We shopped there today for a fridge for our rental house that the tenant says was not cooling anymore. We bought A whirlpool double door with ice and water in the door. Regular $1400 and we got it for $850. they had just gotten a shipment yesterday and had so much stuff. Josh helped us and he was so so helpful and accommodating. So was Jacqueline with Liberty Tax. We left with a new fridge and a new dishwasher. The warranties are good too, along with the delivery setup and haul away. So glad we went there and killed two birds with one stone! Yay! We bought a refrigerator there this past weekend. The one we wanted was already sold but Henry said he could get us another one. Recommend a visit for big purchases; we made a quick stop one morning as we were seeking a new dishwasher (old one stopped working); most other places would not commit to a delivery date, some extending into April. The staff was not even helpful,, suggesting we purchase on-line rather than in the store. We decided to try AF. What a surprise! There were 3 possible dishwashers we considered; all 3 were new in the box, no damage. Josh was very friendly, helpful, answering all of our questions, and making suggestions. Gave us time to look around. If you arent seeking a specific brand/model, AF certainly had options not to mention helpful staff! We will definitely return.

I had a great experience at American freight. I recently bought a house and was in need of a fridge as well as a washer /dryer set. Henri was the Employee I worked with and he was amazing. He went over and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and that delivery would be fast and efficient. He personally went to their warehouse to find the perfect washer and dryer for me and kept communication open the whole time to ensure that I was aware of all my options. I would definitely recommend getting appliances from American freight.

Went to get a new washer/dryer set, ours had conked out completely. We got there it was quiet, so we got to look around for a bit without salesmen breathing down our necks. After a bit, Henri came up and started speaking to us, showed us a few models and asked what we were looking for. He guided us to a set he thought we might like and it was indeed perfect for us, there was no pressure sales, he walked away a few times giving us room to check and think and talk it over. When we decided he took us through the finance part, and he even gave us some tips and thoughts and what to look out for to help us save money in the long run. We didnt need accessories with our set, and he didnt hassle us to buy them. He set up a quick delivery and the delivery guys were very nice and helpful as well. All in all we highly recommend these folks, and be sure to say hi to Henri, he was very sweet and helpful.

I asked if he receives commission for his sales, he said he doesnt because his normal spot is in the warehouse. My son purchased a refrigerator from the Allen, Texas store. When it was delivered it did not work. The delivery guys Quinten and Kenneth tried everything to get it to work. Today I finally found a gas convection range with good ratings and reviews!! The only draw back was the drive to Allen. Everything was handled to my utmost satisfaction and I should be receiving my new range on Wednesday!! I didnt even have to drive all the way to Allen, as he sent me pics of the one and only range of my choice that was available!! We bought a Kenmore front-load washer, a LG dryer and a Kenmore fridge from this outlet in March 2019. The price was great. The dryer and the fridge are running with full satisfaction, but the washer went out of order the next month. The 30-day return period was already over. So, we had to contact Sears Home Service for repairing the machine under 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. It was fixed; but the problem came back again in October. This time, they failed to repair the unit after several attempts and in the middle of December they promised us to replace the machine. Since then we have been thrown into a vicious circle – “ a tech visits our home, fails to repair, recommends replacement, we call the customer service, get a case number, no response, we make a follow upcall and they would say the replacement not approved and will send another technician.” Although they said they can only see 4 visits, technicians came to our home 12 times. On the tenth visit, they just left the machine disassembled with parts laying everywhere. On a last ditch effort before we would have to eat the cost we decided to visit the store, see the manager and seek his help about getting the things resolved. And, we met Bennett on January 11th. Bennett listened to us patiently, provided us with all the contacts where we may escalate the issue. After a while he turned back to us and said, “ I don’t want to see that someone buys something from my store and go through such kind of hassle. In a pinch I might buy something from here, but all of the display items where in pretty poor condition. Just looking at the dishwashers was kind of a hassle, opening them up was kind of difficult. And I definitely wouldnt finance with the company thats available, according to the reviews that I looked into for that it was pretty sketchy.
