Second time we have used Stellar on a project. The first was to correct all the flaws in the initial system we installed via another AV company. Thanks to Stellar for getting our family a top notch theater and home automation experience and special call out to “Moose” and Matt for all their attention to detail and patience with us as they handled the install exactly to our lofty expectations.

Used these guys for the second time..last time was 8 years ago when they were STARLIGHT. Still the same owner, great work and service! Had them update our media room which the kids now enjoy with 4K, and also give us an automated home with whole house audio and music and update our outdoor too. Great service and love the 24/7 support they now have. Highly recommend!

Recently performed home automation upgrade on my 6000 square foot house in Plano, Texas.I was thoroughly impressed with their services - from quoting to all the way to completing the job. They started with detailed planning and educated me along the way to ensure that I am getting only what is needed. They were very quick to understand the needs and offer the optimal solution. The most surprising and rejuvenating feeling is to how well the execution went like planned. These guys know what they are doing from simple wiring to complex design of systems. I am very happy that I selected them after going through a few other service providers and I will continue to use STELLAR Home Theater for all my future needs. They definitely live up to their name - a STELLAR performance.

Had our entertainment system updated with Stellar about 1 month ago, and after some bumps in learning the system we love it! The technical crew was so helpful and accommodating, that it made the whole process worth it. I would highly recommend Stellar for all your audio/visual needs. Look no further, KC in the sales department listened to our needs and was able to put together a system that fit our needs. Then the masterful tech crew was able to hook everything up, in addition to teaching us how to maximize our usage. They even would answer our questions on the weekend. Who would do that? Very kind and helpful.

Stellar has awesome professionals. Right from the time I walked in it was great experience. Excellent customer care and service was provided throughout. Installation was very smooth and the way Gilbert & co worked showed how professional and experts they are. Wonderful co-ordination with Ray and great leadership by Shane Bala. Special thanks to the entire team who made my Whole House AV with Media room setup complete. My media room truly feels like a theatre and appreciated by us and many of our friends. Very happy & satisfied with the choice and the investment that I made.

They did my entire house with Audio/Video.. Custom home with lots of tricks and small spaces to manage. Team was professional and worked through the night to get me up and running for our party.. Jack has also been incredible to work with as he has answered any question have virtually anytime of day.. Its great to work with a team that backs up the product and doesnt just move onto the next deal.. Systems like these demand great service before/after...

Had a large project done by STELLAR and they outperformed. We had been researching the right home theater and automation company to work on our custom build by one of the largest custom builders in Dallas. We decided to not go with the builders AV guy, but with STELLAR given the attention to detail from Shanes team! We finished our build late last year and STELLAR has been one of the best subs to work with. Our 32 zones of audio and 24 zones of video work flawlessly! Our theater room is just amazing and all the automation features (gates, shades, garage, lighting) work great. Beyond this, the service from STELLAR has kept up to its name! They are able to remote in and fix things even without us knowing. The concierge team calls to check in and so does Shane! If you are working on a project that you want to go right, I highly recommend checking these guys out. They definitely knocked it out of the park for us.

My experience with Stellar AV has been outstanding.To begin with, the sales and project manager Joe was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He went out of his way more than once to help me out.Robert and Steven, the installation techs were thorough professionals. Their knowledge and their experience in this field could easily be noticed.They had no concerns staying up after their normal working hours answering all my queries. They made sure they complete all the scheduled tasks in given time.I am extremely happy with the customer service Ive experienced with Stellar AV and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for media room to be setup!!-Raunak

Recently had these guys upgrade my old Control4 system. They were awesome! Daniel Davis correctly identified the right model for my needs and got it ordered and delivered quickly. The installation technician, Jayme, was knowledgeable, efficient, and loaded with great ideas about how to improve my system performance and things to think about for future enhancements. He figured out the rats nest of my wiring and programmed the system and features to my liking. To top it all off, they worked with me to schedule the payment to coincide with my cashflow so it fit perfectly in my budget. The price was right, the service was worth way more than they charged, and my system works beautifully!

Awesome !! This is what I would say about the Stellar Team and their work. It was indeed a great customer service from the team. Stellars team is extremely sophisticated, talented and committed to the job. I definitely recommend them for services. I am highly satisfied with the final product at my home. I need to mention about a special treatment that I received while my equipment were still in shipping. They helped me with a loaner setup just to make sure I have a great time during holidays. This is truly exceptional customer service and I appreciate them for that.

Stellar was best in class by far. I quoted through multiple groups and not only did Stellar offer the best value but the customer service experience was excellent. My sales person, installers, and even a manager all reached out before, during, and after to be sure we were fully satisfied. I Highly Recommend them.

Update 1/30: Paul C. and the owner both reached out to apologize and offered their assistance with future projects.We called Stellar about wiring an existing home. They said theyd do it and would like to come by to provide an estimate. Paul C. came out and we discussed the project and he took photos in our attic and around the room and told us hed get back to us the following day with an estimate. That didnt happen so a few days later I called to check in. He said he was in a sales meeting but would get that to us asap. It didnt happen. Then he said hed get it to us by Friday EOD. Didnt happen. We never heard from him again, so we moved on to another company. I dont appreciate Stellar wasting my time. My advice is go elsewhere. There are companies that will respect your business more.

I am changing my review from a 1 star to a 5 star. There was a problem with the installation of garage door and gate controllers. The Stellar Supervisor I spoke to and the technician were not familiar with how to troubleshoot the problem and I was left with a warranty issue despite having paid in full. I reached out to the owner, Shane. He was extremely helpful and send out his best Control 4 Programer. Within 2 hours of that technician arriving the issue was resolved. I very much appreciate a company that cares about its reputation. Shane takes pride in his companies performance and their pristine reputation. If this company was a different company, they would have settled with 1 bad review amongst several good ones. However, Shane went out of his way to learn the problem from me (the customer) and resolved it. Thank you Shane! I plan on using Stellar AV again for my future Control 4 expansion projects.

Fantastic work by the STELLAR team! We did a very large project including 14 TVs, 24 zones of speakers, shades, lighting, garage, security et al! Love their work...they started and finished on time. The work was fantastic. Project management was great, and the concierge service is on the money! Glad i made this choice. I shopped around quite a bit, and went with a company (other than who the builder worked with), and was very glad I picked this team! Paul, Adam, Gil and team ..kudos to these guys!

We had this company install Control 4 and speakers for us months ago. Since then weve had multiple issues and the customer service is AWFUL. We have emailed. Made phone calls. And both my husband and myself have physically gone into the location to get help and still no manager contacted us back. And the ironic part is we were wanting to fix our issues and give them more business which we explained multiple times. Still no calls back.IWe have since hired another company to fix the mess Stellar gave us and install more Control 4 for us. We could not be happier and the customer service is outstanding. Buyer beware!! Do not use Stellar. They will sell you like they are all for the customer but will leave you high and dry after their very weak limited warranty expires. Better warranties, better managment, and better customer service elsewhere.

Stay away!! Absolutely the worst customer service. Very quick to charge your credit card, but not so eager to perform the work. And if you happen to have issues, again they are not to eager to help. Go with another company, unfortunately I learned the hard way!

CRD--Richardson texas: Stellar Home did not install our system but I have had them out twice to fix problems caused by poor installation from a previous company. They solved every issue. They even worked warranty replacements for some of the other installers stuff. Techs were always friendly and on time--even offered their direct cell in one case if I needed more help. Thanks to Mike and G here. Chantelle and customer service folks quickly returned calls and helped work around my schedule to get help on site. Will never use anyone to repair or upgrade my system.

Stellar Home Theater guys rock! Brian, our salesman, truly listened to what we wanted for our home theater, living room surround sound, and whole house speaker system. He came out and did a thorough assessment of the equipment we already had that we could use so as to not ratchet up our total price. The install crew, Gilbert and Robert were so nice! Their attention to detail was outstanding, and they were very patient in explaining how everything worked to this non-techie gal. Poor guys! Ultimately, we did have problems with the Marantz receivers that we purchased and had to have Stellar guys out to fix the problems on more than one occasion. Stellar made that completely painless as well. Each time I called, Todd listened to my needs and apologized for the problems I was having despite the fact that it was a MARANTZ problem rather than a Stellar problem. Each time, the chs came out the same day (got to meet Gilbert Jr. who was just as good a tech as his dad), and they took care of the problem. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STELLAR HOME THEATER!!

Customer service leaves much to be desired. Three months in and what were originally diagnosed as minor issues are still left unresolved. I was billed for equipment that didnt correct the issue. Owner (Shane) has been extremely slow to respond. Not impressed.
