I love eggplant, and it’s really difficult to find authentic Italian eggplant dishes locally that aren’t frozen. They actually make it FRESH!! When the server told me it was fresh, not frozen, I didn’t immediately believe her but I gave it a try. She wasn’t lying! If anyone ever had eggplant and it was awful, it was frozen. Fresh tastes amazing and I will definitely be ordering again.

Served us pork instead of veal and the waitress denied it before checking with the kitchen. Took the pork off the check but tried to tell me it was veal. Went to the closest competitor and ordered veal and was served veal. I understand a simple mistake but the servers attitude will guarantee we will never go back.Update: Yes, I am aware that the dish I ordered contained ham. We are not confused but thank you for your concern. The meat under the piece of ham was not veal. It was pork loin. I pulled it out and showed it to the waitress. Completely white and texture of a 1/4 inch piece of pork loin( which it was.) the comment about the waitress was because she said the dish didn’t contain pork. There was literally a piece of ham on it.
Went in today for the first time! Seriously I can’t rave enough about how amazing the food is! The mozzarella sticks were so fresh and homemade. The marinara also homemade. The salad what fresh green leafy salad. No iceberg lettuce. The portions were great! The servers were so nice. The facility was very comfy. We have now found our new favorite Italian place. We ordered the chicken Alfredo and chicken Diane.
I am allergic to onions and it is so hard to find a place that doesnt put onions and everything. I had spaghetti and meatballs with no onions the sauce was very mild and not too spicy it was excellent. The service was great. However the salad was a little bit lacking other than that everything was wonderful.
Good food, reasonable prices and great service
I ordered carry out and I had to end up returning to the restaurant because they failed to put together my order completely. I was dissatisfied with the way I was treated and wasn’t took care of properly for a customer who had to return to the restaurant because they didn’t complete my order correctly. Thank goodness I lived close enough right before they closed and was able to receive my incorrect order. Always take care of your customers, number 1 priority.

Omg soooooooo salty!! Extreme salt! I just ordered takeout from here after a very long busy day, I was starving but did not have the energy to cook. I ordered a steak sandwich and stuffed mushrooms for myself and a sandwich for someone else. I have never ever in my life eaten something so salty. Ever! And I love salt! I ate a mushroom (small, 2 bites) and because I was so hungry had to force myself to swallow the second bite. I thought maybe someone just added too much salt to that dish and tried my sandwich and omg it was really salty also (like someone accidentally added a handful of salt vs a pinch, an extreme amount)! I called the restaurant to ask if maybe something went wrong and they said no one else has complained and I could bring my food back there and have them remake it. I paid extra to have this delivered, I am exhausted and the last thing I want to do is drive all the way there just to have them remake my food and possibly hate it again. Chalking this up to lesson learned, and will never eat here again. The woman I spoke to on the phone was actually very nice and apologized, it was her manager that said I had to bring it back. And I have no idea if the other sandwich is any good. We are scared to try it.
We just went out with my husband from this restaurant. He ordered veil and they gave him pork, the server denied it was and she didn’t even check with the kitchen, it was fried pork you could see the golden spots and the texture of the meat was soft and completely white. She acted so bad with us and really offended us in front of all the people that was eating there. Terrible service. I used to go there because I love the pizza there but never going back there. We’ve been going to joes bistro for years and decided to try this place but so disappointing. Joe’s bistro would never do a huge mistake like that.Update: there was no veil in that plate. Of course you are going to denied it. Service in that restaurant VERY POOR
There bread and cream of mushroom soup is the best! They have a special chicken Tuscany pasta which is not in the menu, but you can still order it. The pasta is heavenly 😍😍😍

One of my favorite restaurants...salads are actually vivid green, house dressing is wonderful! Love their Fetticini Alfredo...sumptuous and rich!Of course, hot rolls and REAL BUTTER are a must to start off the meal!!!
EXCEPTIONAL!!!! FOR the last ten years, Italian villa has been the ONLY sit down pizza restaurant that me and my family go to; Even during covid we could not stay away. But lets get into the real reason I am writing this review. I ordered the meatball and spinach pizzas and cant keep my hands off, I started eating in the car and was drooling while eating. Im not even home yet and have had three pieces. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 100/10 WOULD RECOMMEND.

4.6 of 5 stars. Been coming here for 15 years. Atmosphere is no-frills, located in a low traffic retail center with plenty of parking. Great lunch specials include most pasta options and a salad + drink.I enjoy their pasta dishes, particularly the stuffed shells. Their house dressing is also very good & salad is actually mixed greens, not romaine.Shannon usually waits on me & I appreciate that this local business values having professional and experienced staff. I feel the service here is usually better than most other restaurants, even those more expensive.My one suggestion is to rotate out the rolls more frequently or keep them a little undercooked. Sometimes, the rolls are doughy and taste amazing & other times, the tops get a little crusty and crunchy and just don’t taste as good as that soft, dough texture.
Ive been to this restaurant on and off for a long time. It is very clean and cozy and the staff is always super friendly. Their menu has a nice variety of items that covers many people tastes and likes. My latest visit there once again a good one and I decided to write a review. I ordered the Veal Marsala which came with a salad and a Italian garlic bread. The bread was ok and the salad fresh. I was a bit disappointed in the salad since it only came with one slice of tomato and one pepper. The tomato vinaigrette was ok. The Veal was tender and good. The Marsala sauce was a bit too much and tasted more like a brown gravy although not bad. Plenty of mushrooms! For dessert I ordered the tiramisu and that one was pretty decent! All in all I was happy with my meal especially for the price I paid.

This restaurant is the one I like best. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this place I go the most. The team is very friendly and the cuisine they offer is so delicious. I never decline to have a decent meal in this restaurant. One of Allens beat kept secrets really! The bread is to die for, salads and pizzas are amazing and the plate portions are sufficient to share. Everything is fresh and flavorful! Highly recommended.

I give this place 5*s because the food ia really good however we felt rushed. Our waitress Hailey C. kept coming over asking if we needed anything else which normally was fine but while my husband and grandson literally still had food on their plates and in their mouthes, she came over and said you need a box for that? I said theyre still eating. She said oh. Is there anything else you need? So my husband said a box and the check please.We just wanted to relax and have a nice meal. It had been about 4 years since we had been there and itll probably be another 4.
I had a slice of Pepperoni pizza made of fresh ingredients and it was absolutely delicious. Would definitely come back and try more stuff off their menu

I had the chicken parm sandwich. The chicken cutlet was dry, probably sitting for a while before making it onto my sandwich. The sauce is not good. The bread was the highlight. Crunchy. I’m not a fan. Sorry.

My favorite Italian place in this area. Dont judge a book by the cover! The outside looks a bit older and might need renovation but the stuff that really matters is excellent. My wife and I love the picata! The bread is amazing! They have BYOB if that interests you, but there is a $2 corking fee.Great for date night!

Pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. I lived for 30 years in Brooklyn, NY and this stands up rather well with what I could have gotten there.I had the Eggplant Parm and Spaghetti.

Ordered online for pick up expecting the great customer service I’ve received at the Carrollton location and was very disappointed and shocked. It was my first time ever ordering online at Italian Villa and when I went to ask for my order there was a language barrier between me and one of the cooks which was no problem at all, the other cook was very rude and began to rush the situation with a horrible attitude and rude tone of voice. My boyfriend and I had ordered separately so there was slight confusion between me and the worker who spoke a different language and the other worker obviously had gotten frustrated with this interaction and when he bagged our food we could hear him say “Order ahead next time” as we left. Which we in fact had ordered ahead so I didn’t see a reason for this unnecessary attitude. Will not be coming back to this location again.

We have eaten and picked up to-go orders for many years from here. This evening I went in to pick up an order and was greeted by a lady asking my name for the order. I gave her my name and she scrolled thru a tablet looking. She asked me if it could be under a different name to which I replied, no. She then asked me if I was 2 other names in a very rude tone of voice. When I showed her my confirmation she pulled off her mask, and in a very irritated tone told me THAT didn’t have what she needed. I told her it was under my name, and it was an $85 order, I don’t think they have many $85 orders sitting around!! Completely rude customer service! Other than the bread feeling like rocks, everything tasted great!!

Order via delivery today for the 1st time and was very impressed. Everything was hot and fresh and the flavor was spot on. Probably the best italian restaurant Ive had in the area. We will definitely be ordering again.

I would give 4.5 stars. I have visited Italian Villa for 19 years. I love the ambiance of being in a hometown. My favorites are the Chicken Murphy, pasta sampler, the bread is awesome, and the House dressing on salad. It is a restaurant with consistent yummy food and service.I have tried the chains that are attractive but you pay more knowing a team of experts & designers create an image and tic off all the boxes. The ambiance of Italian Villa feels similar to a neighborhood Italian restaurant in a large city. Last year I visited an Italian restaurant in North London, UK owned by one family for decades—where no chains existed. That place reminded me of home.

The best gem in Allen! No wonder this has been a staple here for so many years! The atmosphere takes you to Little Italy, the food feels traditional and made with love, the service is great and you get so much at a wonderful price! They have a private party room if needed too. A must for anyone who loves Italian food!

I just moved to the area and randomly picks Italian Villa the lady on the phone was polite very helpful and got my older right the first time which normally never happens. My pizza cannoli and drink was delivered well before the time they said it would be and both pizza and cannoli are excellent. I give Italian Villa an A++++ they will be my go-to place when I want pizza every time. Excellent service in excellent food you should try them.

Husband and I just had lunch we both order off lunch menu the Chicken Marsala. Husband ask if he could get Marinara sauce instead the Marsala wine sauce, was told yes. Waitress did not indicate that there up be up charge. When we received check they had charge $1 for the sauce. Husband very upset will be difficult to get him to come back.
Walked in to pick up a delivery order. All 5 employees, including 2 cooks, had no masks on. I nearly canceled the order.

We love Italian Villa and discovered their on line ordering and delivery. I’m sure this is a good problem for them but not for us. The last time we ordered the pizza was pretty cold when it arrived and pretty late. Didn’t think a thing about it till we ordered this time. It’s now 11/2 hours after the order was placed and still no food. When called the restaurant I was met with a lot of sweetheart we are very busy, hit with a rush and we only have one driver. Well, sweethearts at Italian Villa, this family is hungry and this isn’t our problem AGAIN! Hire enough drivers, you know when your rushes are! You can’t expect people to wait like this! I’m going now to get my family something else now. Thanks guys but we tried.

Weve come here every month or two for 15+ years. The service had always been pleasant and personal. The food is homemade and ranging in taste from good to great. Its almost always great or close to it. Theres a reason we keep coming back (and being friends).
