Ive been coming here for years without incident. In fact, the very first time they serviced my Audi, they not only washed it, they also left me a Dunkin Donuts gift card!Unfortunately, my latest interaction with them was not as nice.My child now drives that Audi and has noticed a coolant leak. I called Audi Service and let them know that my child would be bringing in the car for a quote and to notify me with the quote.I only asked for a quote, an estimate for repair. I made sure they agreed to run anything by me for approval, prior to doing any work. I receive an estimate for repair that is a little salty, so I call around and find a place that specializes in European cars that will do the work needed for $400 less. I have my child go get the car from Audi.I then get an alert that my card has been charged $90.I call Audi and ask them why they charged me as they didnt do anything but provide a quote. They said they offered my child, a minor, a pressure test for $90.I reminded them of the agreement we had that they get approval for any charges with the car owner, me.They began arguing with me, saying it wasnt theyre responsibility to ID the person they were charging. I asked why they were upselling a minor and didnt clear it with me. They argued more. I asked for a refund and the guy on the phone said only a supervisor could submit a refund. I said great, xfer me to a supervisor, they said, they didnt know how to do that, but, they will have the supervisor call me back. That was two days ago and I havent heard back. I just did a charge back and am done with them, after 6 years of patronage.
Not happy with service today. Showed up for a preset appointment to have car looks day for a fuel Gaige malfunction and a recall on the airbag and had a drop off time of 740 AM with a loaner car reserved. I arrived 15 minutes prior and waited outside because I was early and didnt want to throw off their COVID procedures. I was greeted and brought in immediately then told they had no loaner vehicles for me. I told him I couldnt have the work done today because I have things planned to get done and he said he could get it right in. Now here I am waiting because I wont drive around with a broken fuel gauge and have other issues. Been here over an hour and a half already. Not cool and Im sure they wont do anything to compensate me for all my waste time due to their scheduling error with their loaner cars. Not recommended at this time. Ill update review when I leave their facility. So the service advisor just came out and said there was nothing wrong with the fuel gauge. They literally just disconnects the battery and fixed it (I’m sure they’ll still charge me close to $200 for two minutes). Also said they were doing several recalls even though I didn’t ask them too (other than the airbag). Knowing I was waiting unexpectedly they should have asked first. Unbelievable.
