FIRST TIME CUSTOMER.I walked into Ultra and was not Greeted. I said hi to Arie because I had a question. The question was answered with a arie: I cant see it mam customer, I said I havent showed you anything yet. I moved to the side did not want her assistance any longer. And Arie the greater said mam pls. Stay behind the shield. As I shopped I heard ARIE greeted other walk in customers enthusiastically. That made me feel singled out and uncomfortable. Thank you Megan for answering my questions and explaining with great customer service.I will not return or answer questions from friends when they ask what am I using for my hair. I will direct my friends to another location.
My favorite store in the world.... I shop online and it gets delivered to my house or I shop online and pick up in store, they even take it to your car if you decide.. I appreciate it!! You also can use points and coupons to save money....
This is my favorite Ulta to go to. Employees always greet you nicely when you walk in! I couldnt find a tin of Smiths Rosebud Salve, so I asked one of the cashiers. She couldnt find it either, so she asked her other associates on her little mini walkie-talkie thing (idk what theyre called lol) and next thing you know about five other associates were looking for it too! They found me a tin in about 30 seconds lol. Im shy but I really appreciated their customer service. It was so sweet!
I absolutely love going to Jessica (you can book her under Jessica F) at Ulta Beauty on Airport Rd, she is always open and honest about color suggestions, cuts, and hair care post coloring. My last cut and color (full balayage rose gold 🤗) was right before Easter and I’m still receiving complaints over a month later. Jess is also available and encourages you to reach out with questions post hair appointment to keep you looking and feeling amazing.
Our experience was great at the salon. The price was amazing for everything she did and the result came out great. She was very patient and even gave us some advice for the haircut we wanted. Money well spent and would recommend.
I have been to this Ulta a few times since moving to Kutztown. Yesterday My cousin and I went in and met the best employee I think I have ever talked to in an Ulta. From my experience most employees are kind of snotty, and not so happy. I asked Autumn Rose if they carried any face cleaning brushes. She helped my cousin and I and showed us different products. My cousin asked about face masks which she happily showed us her favorite brand and some other fun ones. Her energy was so uplifting and awesome! I would %100 come here again just to see Autumn. I work in retail, so I know how hard in can be, but Autumn was just so happy and vibrant. She definitely made my trip there worth it, even though I couldnt find what I originally came for.
I went to Ulta last night and my experience was amazing. I needed some help finding a new foundation, lip gloss and liner. Emily was so helpful and honest. Her customer service was top tier.
I was overwhelmed. First time I walked the entire store. I loved it and wanted to run from it at the same time. Lol! Its a candy store for women who love make-up, perfumes, etc... Who doesnt want to look pretty, smell good and take care of ourselves from top to bottom!?! Ill be back!!!
If you need any cosmetic item, this is the place to be. They got everything, seriously, everything you can think of. The cool thing is, they have a wide range of prices for all items, so you can buy the expensive high end item or a cheaper one. The workers were friendly and nice, and they were professional. overall, great experience.
If you go here and need help ask for Emily she is absolutely amazing, i went in with acne issues that left me wanting to hide under a mask for life and it had been a problem for about a year or so only getting worse with everything i tried. She right away listened to my needs and showed me something that literally changed my life. for anyone needing acne help go see her but also try the serum once a day it is called :: THE ORDINARYNiacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This stuff has worked wonders i no longer need cover up or anything it has cleared 75% in just one month.
Loved the experience of purchasing there, the prices were reasonable, employees let you walk around and explore the store by yourself, but are ready to help out if you need. When you leave the store they make sure to wish you a good day and thank you for your purchase.

Went to Ulta today to pick up some makeup items I needed, since I had a couple hours of free time away from my son. I have a vacation coming up for next week, and I decided to look at makeup bags to put my makeup in. I saw that some bags were on sale, so I was trying to figure out which ones were on sale because the bags and the tags weren’t matching. After 10 minutes of me looking at bags, an employee came up to me to ask me if I was finding everything okay. I told her I was okay, and I was just looking. After this, another employee came to stock right BEHIND MY BACK. I couldn’t even look behind me with how close she was to me. I’m pretty sure they thought I was trying to steal, since I was kneeling down trying to read the tags with the pricing. She wasn’t 6 feet away from me, considering Ulta’s isles are narrow as it is. I felt so uncomfortable after this, and ended up paying for my order and leaving. It’s sad that I couldn’t enjoy the little bit of free time I had because they wanted to profile me. Won’t be going back to this Ulta again.

It’s difficult going to stores like this because I am someone who is very unfamiliar with self care products. But the lady I went to was generous helpful enough to explain many products to help my needs.
Walked in 6:45pm. Manager was at the door reminding me that the store closes in a few minutes. I knew what I wanted & where to get it. I walked in to see a line from the front to the back of the store checking out. Maybe the manager should have been managing a register instead of worrying about locking up early.
This location has very poor customer service! As a manager in another retail store, what I’ve experienced almost every time I’ve shopped here is embarrassing! Most recently today, one of the women restocking right where I needed to be didn’t even say hello or ask if I needed any assistance. Just kept refilling right next to me and could have moved over so I could finish my shopping. The cashier was so snotty and really made me uncomfortable. Just didn’t want to deal with me or any of my questions. I didn’t even get my price adjustment I needed, and have waited 2 weeks for because I just wanted to get away from her. From such a big company such as Ulta, they need to do a better job at staffing! Your employees seem miserable to be there and it’s definitely affecting your business ... as I will never be back and I’m sure others feel the same.
What is closing early going to save? How is 2 hours going to change covid? If anything it makes a smaller window causing more people to enter in a smaller time frame. I will never shop here agian, I drove 30 mins to get here. Peices of caca
This place is always nice to go to. I really dread going to makeup stores esp sephora where the workers harrass you. Ulta I not like that, atleast not this one. If you need help they are there to assist but not to bother you. My experience there is always pleasant. 👌🏼

I was harassed by 4 or so store workers. I just wanted to buy one item and everyone started yelling at me at the same time. They wanted my email and last name. I previously had an online order which I didn’t have my ID so I was unable to pick up. I rebought my item and they started harassing me. I guess they want me to do their job. I feel attacked and all this happened in front of the manager.
Good selection of products and they take COVID precautions serious, making me feel safer in the long run (ie: markings on the floor for social distancing, cashier wipes down counter and credit card machine after each client, all shoppers have to wear masks).
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Called to get help regarding an order I placed to pick up at this location & spoke to three different people including two managers. The last manager I spoke with was disgustingly rude & I honestly wish I would have gotten her name. I will NEVER shop at this location again.
I was in the airport center store yesterday with my cousins13 year old granddaughter. We were shopping for good quality makeup for her to begin her makeup experience including good facial care products for removing and maintaining good skin. We were assisted by a young lady named Amanda who shared valuable advice and was extremely helpful. I cannot say enough about the service we received yesterday thank you Amanda.

Ive never been here before and I wont ever be back. I do not recommend this location to anyone of color or anyone under the age of 50. I went in with my stepdaughter to get her foundation color matched. She approached a rep at the register and she was very helpful, she directed us to a seat in the rear of store and she called someone over. The older rep came over and passed us to approach an older white couple who had just arrived at the aisle. She didnt even look in our direction and totally dismissed us. After a few moments I walked up to the register and informed the manager of the rude treatment and she was rather embarrassed as was I. I did not inform my step daughter of this or even storm out because I wanted to show restraint and my ability to rise above this situation. The manager was very apologetic and I simply informed her that the rep needed better training. We continued in with the match which was basically just a rep smearing foundation on my stepdaughter a face and wiping it off. She was nice, but in not certain her skill set was with make up. Prices are reasonable for some of the items.
Obviously everyone loves their products. But I gave them a 5-star review because of their salon. I absolutely love Juliana and Kristian they do an excellent job and their pricing is fair.
Rachel was super helpful! All i wanted was some liner, mascara, lashes AND to get in and out of he store fast. She knew just what I needed AND she was the only beauty specialist that asked me if I needed any help! Thanks Rachel!!!🖤🤘🏻🥰

I don’t know what it is about the staff at this store but they are extremely rude and almost condescending to their customers. I got attitude on more than one occasion from employees there regarding not wanting to sign up for the credit card. Just accept the answer and move on, no need to act rude the rest of the transaction. They really need to have their management step in and teach proper customer service techniques. I’ve worked in retail before and yes it isn’t the best but it’s not an excuse to be rude to your customers. Will not shop here again after today. Online orders only unless I’m at another location.
Honestly you are better off just helping yourself figuring out what you want or better yet ask Google. This place is a waste of employees that are supposed to help customers . At this particular store there is only one employee that should keep his or her job and its unfortunate that I dont always see this person. Im honestly out of words for how pathetic this place is run.
The staff were amazing! Even the customers were great. It was a very friendly environment! Darlene is awesome! She did a great job on my hair and in the 3 hours I was there not once did she seem impatient with me. She is very upbeat with an awesome personality and I had a great time chatting with her.
I have been in a Sephora a few times looking for specifics or general items and encountered mean staff. I have not encountered even a moody staff member at Ulta. My shopping experience is always joyful, whether I am just browsing, looking for a particular item, or looking for some advice. Im thankful I live close to this one to take full advantage of sales and promotions. I highly recommend.
Ulta itself is nice because it offers a large array of products. My only disappointment is the coupons. Most coupons only work on a few selection of items. When spending a fair amount of money on make-up yesterday, it would have been really nice to get a little bit of a financial break.However, the employee who helped me yesterday, Kristen, was EXCELLENT!! She was incredibly helpful, and invested time in me. If it werent for her, I probably wouldnt have bought nearly as many products. However, her make-up was flawless, and I wanted to get her look. Therefore, she gave me a lot of tips, and I could not be more satisfied with her assistance!! :)

The worst Ulta that i ever was shopping in. Unprofessional personnel, total lack of communication between workers and managers. We spent there more than 300$ and my sister was in need of bathroom...they refused to use it even if we mentioned that is a special need...One of the store associates showed us where is it but 2 minutes later another came with information from manager that we can t use the bathroom.
Great store. I love the amount of choices and price ranges that they have throughout the store ❣️ And the sales staff are always willing to go above and beyond to help you. I had a skin condition that I was having a hard time figuring out how to cover by myself. By the time I was done, I actually had 3 sales girls all helping me figure out the right combination of concealer, foundation and setting powder that completely covered up my issue. And they really put thought into it because they all worked together and didnt try to sell me on one particular brand. In fact, they put my needs first and came up with the best item from 3 different companies that worked perfectly for me. And they also werent just pushing the high end cosmetics. They also tried some brands that you can get at your local pharmacy, like one Loreal product that I ended up getting. They really made me feel special and important 🧡

Do not go to the salon here if you have a life. I spent five hours in the salon on highlights and a trim. I came in for an appointment at 12pm and left at 5:15pm. FIVE HOURS is ridiculous to sit in a chair for a completely overpriced, mediocre hairstyle. I barely have my roots covered and my hair looks exactly how it did when I walked in there. I specifically told the girl I like my hair heavily highlighted and she took little strands of hair that it looks like almost nothing is there. Cut is not bad, but still should not have taken as long as it did.The manager saw me sitting there for five hours straight and did not even at least offer to comp my trim or something! Customer service and getting people in and out is clearly not a priority. The girl was unbelievably slow and all she did was talk. I am not trying to make small take when receiving any type of service, I like to be in and out. Ive come to this salon in the past and decided to give it another shot after disappointment from my previous salon, and have confirmed why I did not come back here. Paying $200+ for a service and sitting for five hours I should have absolutely amazing looking hair and I dont. I typically NEVER write reviews, but do not come here if your time is a priority.
Quite a place!! If you cant find something here there is something wrong!!! It is a makeup junkies nightmare! I did some Christmas shopping here and there is something for everyone. You can have a makeover for yourself and have your hair done also. Also there are bargains galore all over the store. Help is plentiful and staff is very friendly!

Clerks are not aware of products & promotions. Sign indicated a price with a list of products & sale dates. In store day prior to promotion, clerk indicated that the product would be on sale next day at that price on the promotional paper. Went next day, register didn’t ring up the sales price nor the price where the product was stored. Clerk said that promotion is just signage for their clerks & not real prices of the product! Buyer beware! Prices aren’t that great either. Same products other stores much cheaper!
I have been going to Jess at Ulta for around 4 years now and I love my hair every single time. I have read through some of these reviews and dont believe the bad service...every time I go, there is someone to say hello all throughout the store and especially in the salon. Ask for Jess and you wont be disappointed!

Horrible customer service! When you call and ask for the manager and she responses ‘It’s really busy, is there something that someone else can help you with?’ it’s probably time to get a new manager. Especially when you are calling about product that was missing from the box.
I went in knowing what I was looking for so I grabbed what I wanted and went to the register to check out. The woman helping me did not say good morning or ask how I was doing, she looked miserable. I didnt say a word I just handed all my stuff over she asked if I had a rewards card so I handed my phone over with the card up on the screen I told her I had a coupon and i wanted to use my points because I had a fairly large order. She rang everything up and the total was off I told her the one item was on sale, she asked where I saw the sign so we walked over then she rudely said that I grabbed the wrong palette, I apologized and asked where the correct one was and she looked even more annoyed; she looked around and couldnt find it (because they didnt put them out) one of the other girls went into the back to grab one and brought it up. We went back to finish the transaction and she didnt use the coupon or then rewards points. She was very rude and unprofessional. Ive never had a bad experience at Ulta and this completely put me off. You shouldnt get mad at a customer because your staff didnt stock the displays properly. Ive worked in many customer service positions for many years and if any of my managers or higher ups would have seen me treat a customer that way I wouldnt have a job. You are a high end cosmetic retailer please have your staff act accordingly. I dont enjoy spending hundreds of my hard earned money to be treated so horribly.
I love this store. Usually cheaper than Sephora. It has high end makeup and a drugstore makeup section . You can get hair supplies here . You can also visit the salon in the back for cuts, color and eyebrow services. They also sell akin care products . Employees are usually helpful and if you use your ULTA card you can gather points towards rewards.

Absolutely LOVE Ulta, its my one stop shop for EVERYTHING beauty related. I can get my fav perfumes, skincare & make-up here. My husband & I use to come here to get his cologne here as well, its cheaper then the higher end dept stores. Great place to buy gifts for loved ones as well. They ALWAYS have great sales & if you are a rewards member you get extra savings too. But even if you arent a rewards member you still can save money shopping at ulta. I recommend that you check it out: makeup, skin care, perfume, cologne, beauty tips, hair care, even a hair salon, plus you can get your eyebrows done here too😊😍- DEFINITELY a one stop. Customer service is great here as well, the associates will try their best to help you find what you are looking for and or answer your questions. The store is ALWAYS organized & super clean too.. Check out Ulta & you wont be disappointed😊

The store itself is exactly what youd expect. Makeup, hair products, and other beauty items grouped by brand and type and fairly organized. No complaints about the physical store, but the employees are somewhat infuriating. Slow at checkout and obnoxious when you are checking out makeup.
My daughter returned 3x on a back order product...they still did not get the item. Suggested we go to another location. We did, the staff has a flair of arrogance @ both stores ...we are Afro-American...they did not greet us when we came in nor thank us when we left as we openly notice they did to the white customers. Cmon really!! I will tell my friends and clients to never spend their money or time in a organization with such low quality - minded people.
Go see Leigh at the ulta hair salon. Shes patient, and seriously knows her stuff. I always get beautiful color from her that doesnt destroy its integrity.
Love the salon and facial services. Jessica is awesome for facials, very knowledgeable, and very attentive. Kristain is my hair stylist, she listens to you and does magic with coloring.
The girls in the salon are amazing! Staff is very knowledgeable and wont try to talk you into products you dont need.
Booked an appointment online at 4:00 for a haircut. I even called them to confirm my appointment. After I was checked in, I was told to sit and someone would help me in a few minutes. I ended up waiting for 45 minutes and saw someone else who came in after me, get seated before me. I wasn’t even acknowledged after I was told to sit and wait. I won’t go here ever again. Terrible customer service.

Ulta is the greatest money making machine on the planet. I hate going here, as a guy, but marvel at how fast they take your money. I also tend to leave with slimy hands and smelling like potpourri.

Went to Ulta today and was extremely disappointed with the employees. I was looked at wrongfully & racially. Two employees were eyeing me from miles away and even followed me through a couple aisles while I was browsing looking for a new concealer to buy. People should really stop the judge mental and discrimination, I did not see anyone else get as harassed as I did. I bought my items and left, I will no longer be going to this Ulta.

If you like a precise haircut, great style, confidence in your stylist, and making a friend in the process go see Leigh! She is the only reason I visit Ultas salon.
Raneem fixed my hair. It was ORANGE from a bad dye job and she took it to a golden blonde. She was upfront about the way it would turn out and did her best to give me what I wanted. Walked away happy!!
I love shopping at ULTA. However, the ULTA at this location on Airport Road is the worst! I would not go there ever again! I was there with my sister. She asked one of the associates for assistance, the associate questioned her and then treated her as if she was stealing! I would not shop there again! Poor customer service!

I like the store itself for cosmetics but I didnt have a good experience with getting my hair cut here. Whenever I told her that I wanted my side bangs to the left she put them on the right which really bothers me. She also cut my hair way to short and Im not pleased with my haircut

I will suggest your products, but never your salon. The girl who cut my hair was very unprofessional, talking about people biting her breasts and other lude topics. She never smiled or acted interested in me as a patron.She said she would cut only 3 inches off my long hair. We agreed on a length and she showed me where it would be cut. She proceeded to cut an ADDITIONAL 3-6 inches in varying areas off! My hair was down to my mid back and is now just at/below my shoulder. I gave her explicit instructions about long layers and she did not even give those to me. I actually had to ask her to stop cutting my hair, forcefully! She just kept going!!!She also used the same brush on me that she used on the previous client, without cleaning it first! She cut herself on her scissors, put a band aid on, and continued cutting my hair with the same scissors, without cleaning them.To top this all off, she added a heavy product to my fine hair which took all body away. Any stylist should know better! I washed my hair after and the product is still in my hair and is sticky!She also refused to look at me once she knew I was unhappy. No apology or suggestions on how to fix it. She did this to the woman she had before me who was crying because of her cut. I made the stupid mistake thinking the other woman was just in shock after a style change. Apparently she too only came in for a trim. Now I know better. Dont go there!
My wife asks me to pick things up for her from time to time. The staff here is great, they love to help the guys who looks around like dummies. Thanks Ulta.

I got my eyebrows done there, and lets just say it was a huge mistake. First off, the lady on the phone was rude, that shouldve been the first sign. Second of all, it cost $20 + tip ... which is outrageous for an eyebrow wax. Then when Im getting my eyebrows done, I asked her to change the shape because it wasnt quite the shape I wanted yet and she made a remark and rolled her eyes. And then, last but not least.... she pulled the wax off so hard I now have a permanent scar under my eyebrow!!! I dont recommend this stores Brow Bar AT ALL.
