I visited today and found the place humming like a busy bee hive on this late Saturday afternoon. They have a huge selection of very good-looking material beginning with low bedding plants and ending with beautiful large healthy trees of all types neatly organized in a sort of horseshoe around 3/4 of the property. I came looking for a narrow tall evergreen that I could plant as a screen to hide my neighbors ugly pool pump. They had several different evergreen types that will serve the purpose and I bought a very reasonably priced healthy Blue Arrow Juniper. I was so surprised and pleased to hear what the young staffer who helped me actually knew about each of the plants I showed an interest in. In fact two other staffers not only knew the Latin names of the plants I inquired about but their common names as well so I will definitely be going back to Lehigh Valley Home & Garden Center because a plant nerd loves places like this which are very very rare. This place is an absolute delight and treasure.

My family business went there this morning to purchase a tree. There were several young people near shack but no one wanted to help us. This was a Tuesday morning when it wasnt busy (2 other people in the whole place). Went inside and was told that we needed to go back outside to the shack where no one wanted to help us. Person inside radioed that customer was come back out to purchase a tree. People outside at shack were rude & obnoxious. Felt like we were bothering them by asking them questions. We will never ever shop there again. There are plenty of other local nurseries that would like our business.

Went today for some arborvitaes and was happy to see some large jolly green giants! The price was better than most of the places Ive been to and they were very helpful!

We went too early for milkweed plants but everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. We will go back in a few weeks. Everything we have ever gotten here has done wonderful. Healthy beautiful plants and trees.

It took a few weeks to find what Ive been looking for! Very special, blue star juniper, and I was able to get 4! They have a variety of evergreens and colorful trees. Plants etc! Also picked up urns here!

First time there....they had a great selection, well stocked, customer friendly employees and decent prices. Would recommend and I will be a return customer.

Good for bushes and trees. Idont recommend them for perennials or even annual flowers. They are always busy and not very happy to help you.

I dont make reviews normally but I was very surprised to see all the negativity towards this place. Ive been shopping here for close to around 30 years and I have never been disappointed. My patio furniture was bought here, my trees were bought here, and my flowers are always from the garden center. The staff is wonderful to me and the plants are always in such great condition.

Called today and spoke to a employee about some blue spruce trees after telling me they had no bigger trees i inquired about what she wound suggest for border trees. It seemed that I was bothering her when I asked questions. I wont be shopping there again.

I liked this place, but not anymore. When you spend your hard earned money, you should be treated fairly, especially at these prices. One day a shrub is $159.00. Two days later, the same shrub is $119.00. When you point it out, all you hear is excuses. I will never shop here again. Treat your customers better!

I just made some of my spring purchases at LVHGC yesterday and I was immediately reminded of why I love it there! They have a wonderful selection of flowers, shrubs and trees! One of the helpful workers loaded up my car with the bags of mulch and soil I purchased along with the plants! Also, their selection of patio furniture to amazing! We cant wait to purchase our patio set later this summer!

A nice garden center, with a good selection of nursery products, and garden/flower bed plants when the season is warm enough. Also a good sized selection of outdoor furniture, as well as all kinds of products for your garden and house plants. However they are one of the many garden centers that charges way too much for most of their products.

I live out of state and like making the trip every year to see their vast selection of trees and shrubs. The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful when trying to make a choice on an item. I always leave with a purchase.

I have been coming here for the past 10 years and am very happy with their products and services. The staff is always willing to answer all of my questions and they go above and beyond to make recommendations that are specific to my needs. They always have a large selection of trees, flowers and shrubs to choose from. I have tried a few other places in the area and they do not compare. I highly recommend the LVHG for all of your outdoor needs.

From my own personal experience the employees in the yard are helpful. But the management of this place is absolutely atrocious & I dont have the time or money to deal with being given the run around when it comes to ordering specific items.

I love their mums this time of year, my daughter had a field hockey fundraiser a few years ago and I keep coming back because they’re just so big!

Its a nice garden center, but the management of this place is a joke. It seems like every time I want to find out more information on a plant or order, Im always given some run around story which has been rinse, wash, and repeat for over three years. Disappointing.

The lady at the counter was rude and I was charged for something extra. Their POS system does not inventory items so I really have no idea what the prices were. I was at the mercy of the employees memory to assign the right prices. Wonderful shrub selection, though only at 3gal+ sizes. Definitively NOT intended for the home gardener but rather for landscapers. I will not return.

Lehigh Valley Home & Garden Center has shown a commitment to ongoing growth and improvement over the years. They carry a wide variety of plant material and take good care of it. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

This garden center had a nice variety of plants, expansive layout, a lot to puruse. Theres a great section in the back of the store full of outdoor furniture and items to inspire any daydreamer.

Nice place but it is more oriented for landscapers who receive service far faster than everyone else. I walked around for far too long as the employees just stood there.

The unfriendly and unhelpful staff is absolutely unacceptable, I asked three people in a row the same question and they all failed to give a direct answer without shoving me off to the next employee. The one employee kept staring at my daughter obsessively, who is only 16 years old. I found this to be disgusting & will not be returning to this establishment.

We had a question about our pond and it turned into a 45 minute conversation about other things we didnt even KNOW we needed to address regarding our pond. The staff is VERY knowledgeable!!

They keep lying to my grandmother about plant availability.

I was about to make a sizeable purchase of 6 or 7 bushes for my 82 year old mother. I called to verify that LVHG had the bushes she wanted available. The first bush I mentioned to the lady who answered the phone responded Im not sure, second bush she responded, we may have them Im not sure. When I asked it she could verify they were available as I had a bit of a drive to reach their location, she said, everyone is outside. If they are that helpful over the phone I didnt want to take the chance on how helpful they would be in person, my business is going elsewhere.

Great selection.. rude service. Youre rushed, short answered staff and just rude. Get in and get out, we say ! Not like other stores where its enjoyable and you want to browse.

Once again, I tried to get the plants I wanted, but they were out again, a common experience for me. In general, I dont find the staff very available or very helpful...not even very friendly. They are far too busy for that. I cant know about the quality of their stock but of the plants I have bought, about 10% have failed to thrive. There is a similar nursery, but much larger, well stocked and well staffed with very knowledgable and helpful people, in Timonium, MD. It is quite a contrast to my experience with LV Nursery. I prefer to drive the almost 2 1/2 hours there to purchase my garden needs, including many plants and even trees, when I have thetime.However, if the LV staff were a little friendlier, or even a little more helpful, I would be more willing to use the nursery. For me, it is always a frustrating experience.

Easily the best (& cheapest) nursery around. I drive an hour north for all my plants now. They get all of my business, period. Rows upon rows of healthy trees, shrubs, perennials, and even exotics. Exotic in the sense that most of the nurseries round my way, which are just a slight step above a box store, cary the same old stuff and if they do have something nice it costs a fortune. e.g. LVH&G is the only place that carries 6+ white weeping spruces and they only cost $150. Common sky pencils in the pic were just 29$ each. Other places want north of $50/per.Go here - you wont be disappointed.
