Lauri and Jeri were a hoot to talk too. Both are expertly knowledgeable in scuba gear. They also have great senses of humor and are great to ask questions too. This is an awesome local shop for snorkeling and scuba gear.

Certified back in 98 and only do vacation dives. Just finished up another refresher course. Brought my mask and they supplied the rest. The usual safety protocols + some more for Covid. Covered the skills plus what’s available on a dive computer (never owned one). The whole in-pool session was great. After skills, had time to just glide around and enjoy - no rush. Confident and eager for my next set of dives. Ended up returning to the shop for some deals that were too good to pass up.

This shop is just awesome! The owner, Laurie, is very welcoming, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. Over the last couple months, Ive gone from always wanted to be a diver to being a certified scuba diver whos purchased gear, and she and her amazing staff/instructors have been there to help every step of the way.I felt like the certification course was done well over approximately three weeks with classroom and pool sessions and culminating in open water weekend. I felt encouraged and supported every step of the way, and that I was in really good hands with -extremely- patient, capable, and very qualified instructors (Tim and Ken) and divemasters (David and Shane). I feel really lucky to have taken this course through such an outstanding shop and it makes me feel like I have a foundation to be a safe and confident diver.Laurie and Jeri have been just wonderful with equipment. Theyve helped me to figure out exactly what would be the right fit for me at this time, and with absolutely zero up-selling or pressure. Ive purchased a scuba kit from them and they not only set it up, but showed me how to use it, and arranged for a (free!) pool session before I took it out to open water. I feel really confident in the purchases Ive made and in knowing they will be in good hands for any repairs or service down the road. Im so glad this awesome dive shop is here and I plan to continue to take classes and make purchases here to do what I can to support them!

Today I went in and bought a dive mask for training purposes. I walked out feeling confident in my purchase (which doesn’t happen in many places from my experiences) with added knowledge that I didn’t have prior. You don’t need to come in with all the questions as they are very informative and want nothing but for you to be comfortable in the water with the equipment they sell. Laurie was the one who helped me and despite the current conditions with COVID, I was able to try on different masks and I was assured that they were sanitizing them per client. Laurie and her crew are the best. She cares deeply about the sport and will make sure you have the proper equipment and knowledge. I just finished getting ready for a trip, and Laurie scheduled a refresher course for me last minute, and made sure my skills were up to par. She was very patient and made sure I understood everything. She rented the pool, hauled all the gear and spent several hours on the class, and I was the only one in the class!! It just does not get any better than that. She should have charged me way more than what she did. The equipment prices in the shop are very reasonable, and she carries all the good brands

I cant say enough great things about Laurie and her whole crew. They carry a nice selection of gear and at great prices too. This place was referred to me by a coworker that was adamant that I got certified here. I am so glad that I did, I brought my GF and roommate and we all went at it together. Tim and Ken were the instructors and they are the guys you want to learn from, patient, experienced, smart and great people all around. Everyone felt so safe the whole time.We now frequent Lauries shop for all the new goodies as we step up our diving activities. She has a lot of great classes and dives throughout the year that are a lot of fun and a great way to meet new people to dive with.

I just finished my Open Water certification through Pacific Watersports and couldnt be more pleased. Laurie and Randy were great in the shop in terms of answering all my questions. John was an amazing instructor with tons of practical suggestions, and David was a great DM for all our open water qualification dives with a wealth of knowledge about the creatures we saw. Very good prices to boot - highly recommended!

I always support the local dive store, and Pacific Watersports is the best in this area. I bought masks & snorkels for my three kids there. The people there are very friendly. They took the time to make sure that each mask fit correctly.My wife and I also did a dive refresher course at Pacific Watersports. We havent dove for at least 10 years. While I have a quite a few dives, my wife was very nervous since she only had about 40 dives. Laurie was able to schedule us quickly, just before our trip to Hawaii. She did the pool session with just two of us. Laurie explained everything in detail, and calmly showed us each task. My wife calmed down, and actually performed better than I in all the tests :).Highly recommend Pacific Watersports for any scuba or snorkeling needs.Thanks

Got my gear serviced here for its annual check up. There seemed to have been some confusion on the cost between the quote and when we picked it up. But the service was done in the time promised and everything was shiny and clean for our next dive trip. The folks in the shop were friendly and helpful.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Laurie and her crew. I came in to see the shop and was greeted by an employee when I said I was just looking he gave me space but was available for any questions that came up. Very good customer service. I came in to introduce my self to Laurie, because people have blogged good things about her. She took a moment from working with a paying customer to come say hi for a moment. I wish you were closer! Good person that seems to want to get people started in the sport with good information, not too salesy. Thanks guys, if they are close to you, I would recomment.

I certified with Pacific Watersports in early 2018 and would absolutely recommend this dive shop to others. Laurie runs a great operation here, furnishing quality gear and hiring great instructors/divemasters. The staff always provides very objective information without pushing sales, and the prices are very competitive to what youll find online (and often beating them).PWs customer service philosophy is exemplified by an experience I had just recently. A backup regulator set I ordered was delayed at the distributor level due to high demand, something that is out of everyones control and not the fault of anyone in particular. Since I was signed up for the upcoming Advanced Open Water course, Laurie offered her own **personal** regulators to ensure that I had a high-performing regulator available to me for the course. I was totally taken aback because I wasnt expecting anything of the sort (this order being a backup set, of course), but this is just one example of how Laurie tries to do right by her customers.
