Extremely helpful staff, uniquely good selection of products. When I asked for some guidance regarding a school club I’m running, not only was I supported without being oversold, Mike ended up donating a significant amount of product to the club, helping the next generation of nerds find their love for gaming!

Great place to not only get games but also minifigs. They also have a fair amount of Funko Pops spanning several genres with a few rare variants.They have A LOT of puzzles and puzzle games, so this is your place if youre looking to expand your collection.There are no real aisles, but everything is spaced out well with signs/graphics denoting whats located in that area.The folks who work here are also fun, funny and willing to share their own adventures. Make sure you ask about the Cthulhu figure!

This place is awesome. There have been a lot of sunny days recently, yet were all still stuck inside most of the time. Kill your hours with a game, slay your boredom with a puzzle, or get some friends together and start playing D&D. Its all here, and with friendly customer service!

Staff was super helpful and happy to look up items to see if they had them in stock. Very patient and helpful with an elderly customer to make sure they got exactly what they wanted.

Don’t let the exterior fool you. The store is clean, comfortable and chock full of more board games than I realized existed. No dusty forgotten things on shelves here and the employees are knowledgeable, energetic and interested to help you find something to meet your interests and needs. Wish I had stopped in sooner to check it out, will definitely be back again.

This is my favorite tabletop shop! They have hundreds of board games and an enormous mini selection. The staff is super helpful and friendly and I always look forward to going.

Very helpful owners to help you select games. They try to understand your liking and suggest games accordingly.They also used to have a try area to play most games before purchase, not sure if they still allow that in pandemic.They also but back used games.

It has tons of games and the people there when i visited where really nice but when i bought one of the dice set 2 of the dice where chipped just look carefully at what you buy.

This place is almost perfect. They seem to have almost every game imaginable. Whether youre into D&D, Pokémon, Magic, Star Wars or some obscure game, youre in for a treat at this gem of a store. The employees offer help, at a safe distance and NEVER make you feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. Especially if youre new to most games as I am, specifically D&D. Most employees offer friendly tips and even share their experiences with various dice, equipment and products. Theres even room behind the curtain to play in tournaments or try out your new dice. While no place is perfect, I find no flaws here other than I wish they had room to expand or open more shops.

They dont have any tournaments or events. Their Magic The Gathering products are sold at a very high mark up.

I have been going to Rainy Day Games for years. The employees are always friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of games and anything they dont have they will try and get for you.

During my 1st visit yesterday I stopped in to browse and ended up buying 2 family board games. This place is great; its clean, has very friendly staff, and a selection of games and accessories like Ive never seen.

The go-to place for board games and disc golf in this part of town. Recently acquired by Guardian games, but appears to be still run independently. Good knowledgeable staff.

Used to be a friendly place with very helpful associates, now it is missing its soul. A bunch of new people who stand around and help younger people. I did not get any help nor did other older( >30) get offerred help. I even tried to get one associates help but he stared into space and walked away.A lot of new stuff, unless you are looking for Warhammer, Yugioh, Magic...

I really love to support my local game store with business and this one definitely has a lot to offer. I am in there frequently for my little pieces of plastic Warhammer crack and the staff are always excited to talk to me about the hobby and help me find what Im looking for.

This Local Game Shop treated me well for 1 item pre order but for every other preorder I’ve made the prices have been unreasonable. The downside is I request to be put on a list or “preorder” but they will not tell me price until the day of sale. Come release day I get a call with a price higher than expected and of course I Reject it. I want to support local game stores of course but it doesn’t feel good paying more than what resellers charge.

Best RPG store in Beaverton

Great selection and friendly staff. A huge selection of board games for all age ranges. This time I purchased five board games for my 5 year old. The staff was very helpful in making recommendations. Over the past couple decades they have been my goto shop for miniatures, paints, Magic the Gathering and Warhammer40k. They have a selection of used games and role playing books as well. They also have puzzles and novelty items. Pre-Covid they had a large play area where you could test play games from a large shelf or simply meet and play with other gamers. This play area appears to have been turned into more display space during the pandemic. I recommend visiting here before ordering on Amazon, much bigger selection and you will be helping to keep this local treasure alive.

There are multiple tables in the back of the store to play on, there are larger games that are held in that space (ask staff for details) of many different varieties that anyone can come by and watch or play!Food and drink is allowed (be sure to clean up after yourself!) and there is a bathroom in the back which was clean and served its purpose. Great place to meet with friends to play something, browse the game selection or get involved with the events held there!

18 + years have I been going to this store its moved several times but that never stopped me from seeking it out for all my board gaming and table top equipment and many friends I know go to the nightly events and open game tables. I cant emphasize enough this is the store for boardgaming for the etitre city of Portland and its many suburbs.

The best place I know to go and play games with fellow fame enthusiasts. A wide variety of board games, magic, and D&D style RPGs. A very knowledgeable staff who like helping. Note that you will likely pay more for the board games in particular, but I think its worth it because of the variety they offer and the team to help you decide. Plus you can try certain games while you are there. Worth a shopping day if you need more cards or a new game for the fam.

Rainy day games has all the main games you would need plus some smaller not well known ones either. The staff has always been helpful finding out what I need. Plus they have frisbee golf because everyone needs a side hustle.

This store is one of my favorite places in the Portland Metro area. The owner does a fantastic job of curating an inventory that is always interesting and dynamic while keeping a constant supply of evergreen titles that many people new to the hobby might be looking for.The staff is always friendly and attentive and ready to answer questions and provide their expertise and and opinions when asked. There are a lot of game stores in the area and I have rarely had a bad experience with any of them but Rainy Day Games is consistently the best experience when I want to buy, or just look for a game.If you are at all interested in the hobby I would seriously recommend that check out this west side game store, it is just fantastic.

In a small Oregon town this would be a great game store. In the greater Portland area it is an okay game store. Prices are pretty much max retail for most games and you probably will not find any real deals here. They stock a decent amount of board games, but like most game store nowadays, they try to be all things to all people including card players, miniatures gamers, board gamers, puzzle buyers, etc. Their one claim to uniqueness is that they have a ton of disk golf stuff if you are into that. If you have limited time/travel ability, and live in the area, this place is for you. But otherwise drive into Portland a larger game store with better selection.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this store. The selection is great, the staff was friendly, attentive and very pleasant. I will definitely return next time I’m in the area. I would Definitely recommend.

Love this store! Friendly staff who actually know the games they sell and a huge selection makes it so much fun to stop by!Dont forget the used games! They verify components, but still let you verify too, if you want to. This not standard among the other stores Ive visited, but it should be!

Great local shop for games

This is an awesome shop! They have puzzles, classic games, new games, D&D, Magic, Pokemon. You name it they got it! The gentleman who helped us was very knowledgeable. We had a specific style of game we were looking for and he helped us with several choices. They even carry disc golf discs and Pop Funko figures.
