This is NOT the same place it was in the past! Ive hired them over the years for various gun smithing tasks and been happy. Recently I turned in a few rifles and a revolver to be serviced aka cleaned and lubricated. He had the firearms for over two months. When I went to pick them up I dont believe one thing was done to them! Dry as a bone, actions were sticky, carbon all inside the guns and the bore had NOT been scrubbed. In fact they were dirtier when I picked them up due to they were just sitting on an open shelf in a very dirty dusty shop. I actually think I got charged $200.00 to store my guns at his shop for 2 months. VERY DISAPPOINTED will never be back!!
Roger is a good guy... Can be a little rough around the edges. But a good guy. Fixed my broken lever on a 50 BMG some years ago. You gotta remember folks. He is a good old boy from back in the day. Dealing with the new Gen of people isnt easy for any business owner now a days. Oh and he does NOT sell guns... He fixes them! Gunsmith not gun sells.
My guns been at this shop getting put back together for over 4 months now. No one is answering the phone when myself or any of my other 4 friends who have tried to call. I just want my gun back, ill take it somewhere more responsive to get it put together. Theres no way in hell it should take over 4 months
Very professional and knowledgeable. He is a very solid gunsmith, not a dealer or gun store. I have used him exclusively since the owner of Als Gunshop in Verbort passed away. Great find!
Great Guy and very friendly! Was having issues with my M4 rifle I built and he got it fixed in one visit. Seems like he really enjoys what he does and is very knowledgeable! I will be going back in the future.
I have been here a couple of times and got satisfactory gunsmith work done. Please disregard any comments where people called to see if they had this and that for sale - this is a gunsmith shop - not a retail shop.
Very rude over the phone! I asked a simple question about what shotguns they carry and the guy immediately said NO! And hung up before I could even ask anything els.
The only reason its 1 star is because you cant choose no stars! Rude on the phone no time to ask question sounded a lot like if he didnt like your voice he hung up didnt even finish my sentence! And he hung up. I guess you gotta be part of a small group.
I was looking for a reliable Gunmith. I followed the directions to a run down house. Not a place of business. Very disappointed, had I known I wouldnt have driven so far to waste my time.
Great gunsmith. Fixed an ftf problem on my pf9. Hasnt had a problem since. Im going to have him pick out and install suppressor sights on my Glock 19 with an rmr.
Roger has done numerous jobs for me over the last 5 years. Too many to count but some include Cerekote, bead blasting. Sight installs. Barrel cutting and welding. 1911 repair. Etc. everything is always perfect and if there are any issues, he is always willing to give me exactly what I’m wanting. Highly recommend.
The guy that answered the phone was rude, Im not one to write a bad review but I believe a company should never be rude when answering the phone. I have never been there and never will go there now.
Roger is a master gun smith ..best in the businessI have had about 15 guns built every single one shoots extremely well.Have had even more blued. ..now he has added cerekote finishes to his great work.Highly recommended. ..just dont tell him how it should be done...he knows already..
Hung up as soon as I asked about some ammo. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.
Every now and then you run into a jackrabbit. This guy is a real jackrabbit. I dont understand, in a world of customer service, why would you be such a tool?
I went into to Roger to remove a receiver screw I had tried to “Harbor Freight” on, I had stripped it.Roger hooked me up and charged me the shop minimum. Cool guy to meet and the shop is eye candy if you like old tools.Semper Fi.
Real gunsmith... seems like gunsmithing these days has turned into popping parts into ARs. He was able to fix a cylinder issue on my S&W as well as fitting a new stock on a family treasure. Went with his suggestions on refinish and it turned out great.
First rate gunsmith and quality individual. They can work on anything and fix any problem with a firearm. From simple repairs to custom work you will be in good hands with these folks.
Disrespectful person. Called and asked a question then he said no and hung up. I had another question but obviously he didnt care. Really unprofessional, must be making the big dollars.
I will never go here again. The guy was highly unprofessional and extremely rude. He smoked the whole time I was in there and started cussing at me when I asked questions. Very rude.
Had a problem with the bolt on my rifle. Adjusted right away. Great service.
I took my AK in for a replacement barrel pin and I thought he did a good job if a little rough around the edges (it didnt look pretty but its an AK). I then discovered that the gun was hitting so far left that I couldnt even re zero the rifle afterwards. When I took the rifle back, he lazily looked it over, said he had no idea whats going on and sent me on my way. Worse than that was when I asked if he had checked he headspace on the gun post repair he said all good. I just checked it again with no extra rounds fired and it closed on a no-go gauge EASILY. He lied about checking it putting not only me but also everyone else who shot it in danger because of his slap job repair. If you have AK gunsmithing that needs doing (or any for that matter) AVOID this guy at all costs.
Roger has worked on a number of my firearms throughout the years. He pays attention to detail and is an expert in restorations. I found Craig Mitts review amusing. Evidently Mr Mitt is new to owning firearms if he choose a KSG as a shotgun of choice. Perhaps hes a collector though. If that is the case I understand why he has a KSG. Otherwise, if he wants someone to work on his KSG, He should send it back to KELTEC. No gunsmith will work on them and then be responsible for it never working! Read the reviews! Its got the Cool factor but thats it. I presume your choice of owning a KSG shotgun is for that reason only and is a direct reflection of you. Quit blaming others for your mistakes! Buy an 870 if you want a shotgun!
Just called to see if they could replace my foregrip for a DPMS LR .308 and the guy said they couldnt even easily order a new foregrip. Mind you I dont need the same as original. Kinda surprised a gunsmith cant handle something simple like that. The guy on the phone didnt seem like he was in the mood to be helpful at all. Taking my busineds elsewhere.
The guy hang up on me because they dont have what Im looking for . Why people are so rude and haters now a days
Have had a number of firearms worked on by Roger, and have never had anything less than a great experience. If you are looking for a quality gunsmith at a great price Revelation arms is what you are looking for.
I was very pleased with Roger and will use him again.
Had my Saiga 12 built by Roger, beautiful job, and fast but really quality work. I have since had all my work done there, even stuff I could do on my own, but i trust him more with certain weapons than I do myself. And by the way read his statement, Roger says that he doesnt work on cheap crap (like Kel-Tek kSG)
Went to find this place and it is somebodys house ... didnt go up figured it was just a personal business out of somebodys garage.
Went here about 2 years ago great work that was fast and at a great price
This guy is a joke! I just called in about my Kel-Tek KSG shotgun and told him I was having a failure to feed problem, The guy in no time said Im going to have to pass on this one and just hung up on me. D-bag doesnt deserve your business.
Called and asked for information about an item Im looking for and was told that they dont sell guns if that where the case why is this place Under fire arms dealers?
Called and got hung up on.
Waste of time dont go here
Excellent service.
Trash customer service
Very rude
Roger is the best!
