Joanns is the best place to shop for fabric and sewing needs. The staff are always friendly and helpful and willing to give ideas. They take the time to help pick out fabrics and explain how to see with different types of fabrics. They also move at the curing tables efficiently, without rushing anyone through.Another wonderful thing about Joanns is the discounts and coupons. If you sign up for the emails, you will get a 20% of coupon, that can be used for the next thirty days, multiple times. The twenty percent discount is good for everything, every sale items, and some sale items are up to seventy percent of at times, so think of the savings! You also get a twenty percent of coupon for your birthday month, which again may be used as many times as you like throughout the month, on everything, from regular price, to sale prices. I think it excludes patterns though. But patterns go on sale quite often for five for five dollars, or like two dollars a piece, either way, its a huge savings!The app is a very helpful way to save money, as apposed to the paper coupons. They will always be the same coupons as the ones you get in the mail, but with the app, you can use the electronic coupons over and over, for as long as they are not expired.

Was looking for silver-type coins for an Easter project. Didnt find anything that would work.

Decent selection. Would like to see a slightly expanded jewelry making section. Stock is mostly poor quality and would leave anyone behind the one time crafter seeking online options for longevity of their pieces. Bead options are also limited. Fabric and yarn selection is on point and as expected. Staff is helpful and enthusiastic about their consumers projects which is a nice touch.

I was looking for plastic mat for a mosaic.

Signing up for their coupons is worth it. The store is medium sized and has most of everything you would need crafting wise.

Not the JoAnn Fabrics I used to know. I am not used to not being acknowledged soon after I walk in the entrance. Its a cold aptmosphere, employees are more prone to getting to their task at hand done. Cramped isles. Zippers and hardware are better.

Dont carry the same items as a big store. Didnt get much help dont know if you can order item to be pick up or not. They do carry fabrics and other sewing needs some craft items.just check before you go.

Service was horrible! A woman completed her transaction and while her mother was completing hers the first woman went and got more items and instead of telling her she would have to wait until customers in line were taken care of she rang her up. Finally our turn in line and the lady wanted to exchange something so as soon as we were done she exchanged her stuff instead of calling up the next person in line. Will never shop here again
